Oh my goodness it came out so beautiful! You sold me I am making one for my mom and mother in law. Especially mother in law because she gifted me pounds of her old jewelry. I was also turning it into new pieces but I still have so much between that and my estate hauls ❤ Happy Holidays!!
I missed your comment somehow! Thanks so much for watching my video! I'll be back on my channel again soon, Hope you had a nice summer! I'm ready for the fall season! 🎃🦇🍂🐈⬛🍁
This turned out so beautifully!! I’ve never seen anything like this before. The patience you had placing everything, and then having to glue it all, was amazing! I’m in awe of your craftiness!! I can’t wait to see your Christmas tour. I hope you and your family are having the most magical Christmas season so far 🎄❤️
Thank you so much! 😊 It was a lot of tedious work haha! But I'm happy I finally did it, I love how it turned out! I bet your daughter would have fun making one of these! 🎄❤️❄️☃️🎁 I hope that you are all enjoying your holiday season as well!!!
Yep, I arranged them how I wanted them first, then started gluing the larger bottom ones on first. I was hunting for Christmas colors and Christmas pins this time around. I still want to make a Halloween one someday also. Or one with purples/blues or all flowers. There are so many different variations you could make with this art. ♡
I didn't take any of the backs off and it worked just fine. If it's not lying flat in a way that you like, you could probably take them off, but I'm not sure how to do that, all jewelry is a bit different. I change a lot of jewelry up into something new though, and in the past, I've been able to take things apart easier with a needle nose pliers or jewelry style pliers which you can buy anywhere you buy jewelry making items, I got mine at Walmart. Those really help me with the tiny items. I hope that helped a little! I found leaving the backs on sometimes made it easier to get this lifted up a bit too, for the glue to reach the material, it gave a really pretty 3D look! Good luck on your art if you make one!! ✨️ have a good week!
@jeaninserra7436 im just using regular hot glue in this video, but when i do another one, I'd like to try to use E6000 along with the hot glue, or possible a fabric glue as well, just in case the hot glue fails on the pins. But so far it's still holding up years later!

Did you put the larger pieces down first? Did you gather jewelry-charms w a theme in mind?

Do you have to take backs off and if so how? Like clip on earings.
