Manic Depression is real and I’ve lived my whole life through it I just thought I was going crazy but the truth is mental health is a killer and I was in a very dark place in time where it was ruining my life day in day out to the point I was so close to taking my own life 2 years ago but if there isn’t anything I’ve learnt the most from going through manic depression/extreme anxiety has made me very strong, mentally and I’m at a point where I’m looking at every day as a blessing to be alive because of it I was trying to hold on to what wasn’t there but when I let go of the past I’ve seemed to be at peace with myself and everyone around me so from my experience if anyone with depression/anxiety has thoughts of suicide just know your not alone and it will go and you will be happy once again so thank you papa roach for helping me and so many others push through this with your music and get to where we need to be in life much love stay mentally strong everyone and never give in to it because mental health is the biggest fight of them all and if I’m still here today and you guys are too that’s just proof that we will make it
I relate to this song. Almost every day I feel like I'm going to lose my mind I have severe anxiety, depression, PTSD and fibro. I wonder every day how I'm still driving myself forward....it's because I'm looking at how far I came. How many times I've fallen only claw my way back. Music has helped me keep finding that drive.

I thought this album was soft on my first listen, but now it's one of my favorite. The lyrics to most of these songs are so relatable and Jacoby has the best rock voice & he delivers the best live performances of any band I've ever seen.
People moaning that it's not as heavy as their usual stuff need to get a grip. It's 2019 and things have been shaken up and more unique songs are emerging. Can't be stuck in the same style forever. Things are moving forward so be more open minded! xD
That's not the problem, the problem was that he teased a RATM sound and feel for the album and then the only songs in the album that sounded like that were the two he teased. It wasn't a bad album, it just wasn't what people expected.

I really like Maniac, The Ending, and Better Than Life. The others aren't bad, just don't seem all that great to me. I definitely prefer this newer sound from them tho

Nothing wrong with stating your opinion of course, but a lot of people like the album, they have own opinions about it and people should not just go like "oh, that reviewer said it's bad, now he has to be right", they should rather give it a chance themselves and then form an own opinion. I like the songs but i personally think that they didnt have to change their sound. It was great before this. I loved that the rythms were mostly upbeat in previous songs and that along with most rock bands there was a black and white difference between rock and other genres. To me this mixing to sell to new generations isnt necessary. Whats trending now wont trend forever so changing sound if its not for yourselves you shouldnt have done it. I think the sudden shift was also too noticeable. This entire album seems pretty chill and tech-y not bad just way different and mostly leaving behind what a good percentage of people liked which was the heavy rock and upbeat sound. If you wanted to change you couldve at least put a couple of more upbeat songs to spice it up and give it more energy. Anywho dont go changing meaningful lyrics for the trash other artists in other genres are singing about. Please dont change completely. I dont want all my favorite bands to become the classic rock of the future. Classic rock was great in its time but its like their only legacy were the few good hits and that was it. It still is all that people listen to. The few good hits. Adapt to change but still keep the original feel thats all i can write. 🤟🏻❤🌋
