best production value I've seen on YT and other platforms; his content is so good on many levels! I always recommend his channel to first responders and firefighter who haven't heard of it :D the ones who have heard of it speak highly about the comedy, accuracy, and....production value. Rock on, Jason (and other people who help him do amazing things)!
My first Jobtown was a __| shaped house/garage where it started in the garage and went into the house. It also self vented the two propane tanks on the outside of the garage. Talk about a flame thrower.
Love It!! My first was 5 years ago. We saved more than half of the 130 year old house doing an offensive attack. But the best part was while I was in rehab I was going to have to go off and hide behind a tree so I could go to the bathroom. As a female there weren't too many places to "go". The home owner over heard me and said she had a portable toilet in the barn. Honestly, that was awesome. Probably TMI but it was something I would've never expected to be so excited about. Lol
I stil remember my first 'structure' fire back in '92, ok it was a burning 4 hole outhouse but was I excited on the nozzle, (sigh) now as a Deputy Chief , I get little to no hose time.......😥
I don’t know if it is usual in many places, but because I live in a big city the fire stations do community events and use them to teach people fire safety. We took my kids to one once, they got to eat pancakes, tour the fire house, including seeing their bunks, slide down the pole, and then watch what happens if you throw water on a grease fire (a controlled one on cement outside in a metal thing kinda like a barbecue) and then see it get put out properly. I think this video is similar to their excitement too.
It’s an addiction- we do all those overdoses and lift assists for the one chance of catching a job. No one woke up saying that narcaning junkies was their dream job.
Wow, did not expect that much value for this vid lol usually its just a green screen and a funny face saying funny stuff but this was like.. not to bad there mister.
So your first structure fire feels like everyday infantry life? Range time never gets old when you have so many implements of un-healthcare to choose from.
Scared as hell. Middle of the night, so you know people are asleep. Mutual Aid. About 10 min ride into next town I make the engine; open jump seats in the middle of winter. We arrive on scene. Lights flashing everywhere. Steam and smoke envelope the home and sky above it. We make entry through a 2nd floor window and advance a line in for extension. I hit the floor and find STRAW all over and bails of straw and garbage. Hoarder? Vacant home set by arsonist? Insurance scam? (3rd one) and I relax a bit. I look up and see sky and I start to advance. We knock down a few hot spots and than Mr Hyperactive Captain with missing chromosomes YANKs the line and the nozzle handle yanks my an mask off! I take in my first breaths of smoke and heated air and kinda freaked but regained composure and got situated. Nutbags grabs me and drags me outside calling for an ambulance for smoke inhalation!?!?!?! I start yelling I'm okay but these SoBs strip me down and get me in ambo. SO embarrassed. I was tortured but not as much as Screamsalot.
@@FireDeptCoffee I've actually been to 4 AEW events myself (8/3/2021 Dynamite Homecoming, the Rampage & Dark Recording before Full Gear 2021, Full Gear 2021, and the Elevation recording, Live Dynamite and Rampage recording for Quake By The Lake, my youngest sister went CRAZY when he came back, I was even sitting next to a family friend of Julia Hart lol) are you gonna make it to All Out? I'd love to see Jason do a spot in the Trios Tournament or the main event!
@@RICDirector It depends, although I try not to judge. If it's an old or even middle aged person who had their widow maker out of nowhere, definitely. If it's your frequent flier who uses and abuses the system and may or may not be an active drug user who has beaten you or your partner up on occasion, I wouldn't go so far as to say I have contempt for the person but, it's definitely sad. I have watched people survive 2 heart attacks who go back to drug use even though they have boatloads of help available if they wanted to get clean. At that point they're well aware of the risks but at some point the unction to get into recovery and take ownership of the process is all up to them.
This is EXACTLY what it feels like!
As a Paramedic on the private Ambulance, I've never thought I'd actually want to be a firefighter until I watched your channel.
Can confirm.
Very true
Jason....you and the crew never, ever disappoint. Even on the serious (ok, relatively serious) stuff.
This one is on beyond, too!
Yeppers ! First structure fire back in 94 , then Wildland fire same year near Leavenworth WA
Man...
How you and the team pull these skits off is amazing!!!😆🤣
We appreciate that!! Thank you!

Coolest? 🧊
I thought fire was hot.
I am _so jealous_ of that *GLORIOUS* mustache!
This one has to be my favorite of all! Absolutely on the mark on how it feels to be on your first fire alarm call.
A thousand time YES to answer your question in the description.
Second that in harmony!
Great! Now I need the full song and a choir+orchestra version to boot.
I’ve been on 18 years and I still feel this way.
Your brass must be amazing to let you guys do these shenanigans

Lol play that chorus over the radio when the call comes in
Please tell me that man's mustache isn't fake, it's the most glorious stache to ever walk this earth.
Fenton's ? Heck no , it's real
it is fuckin magnificent
😂😂 I was in the choir and this is great!
Ok but I want to see the entire musical now.

I learned today what Jobtown is. I babysat my niece today and went to Jobtown when she crapped in the bath.
OOF! Welcome to Jobtown!

Spot on !!! 😉
getting my first job here recently i can agree, this is exactly what it felt like!
Happy it was an accurate representation 🔥🔥
Bro you’re so right… my first fire was a few weeks ago and man was it a rush… I was on a 2.5 inch attack line in the back of the house
I remember my first fire. Called out hydrant en route, caught hydrant, went interior with possible rescue (but then no rescues as we entered)
Thats when you find out who the real firefighters are
Very cool
Your the Fucking Best!! Love you!
If I ever have a house needed demo I'll call the fire department

For a cadet who just gets things shouted at him this is accurate
Trying to make it so every fire feels like a trip to JAAAHBHTAHWNNNNNNNNNNN!!!🤙🏼
How many attempts did it take to get this as you envisioned?
I think it was 1

@@FireDeptCoffee I'm wondering how many got interrupted by calls...

why "jobtown"? and yes, I do want to see the full version! ♥
Great question!! www.firedeptcoffee.com/blogs/news/what-is-jobtown
I wonder if there is ever a fire in their town and they rock up as a team to stop it, and the people recognize them what would happen.
'Excuse me, excuse me! I know my house is on fire and you're probably busy, but could you sign an autograph for me first?!"
Where’d y’all get the tower trucks? Those are some sick looking rigs! Pierce Dash 100’ I’m guessing?
Thank you!! We worked with IFSI on this one, so they were able to hook us up with some really fun stuff!
This was me yesterday lmao
Bro what was the funding and amount of logistics that went into this?
Like all the forms, risk assessments, and scheduling that went into this?!?!?
