I am from Kolkata.jis hospital me yeh case ghata woh jyada dur nahi hai from my home. She was a humble doctor.the hospital is one of the biggest hospital in our city .i am a mother of three daughters though they r now kids but i m sometimes afraid how these daughters of our country be safe outside.i am very much depress.

When mothers will become vocal to their children about such painful incidents then some empathy might get triggered within them. I am teaching my son to be respectful towards every human being. The change has to come from the family. Indians still differentiate between girls and boys. Women themselves are responsible. I was extremely lucky to have a very broad-minded and loving father. Unless the family pay attention to their boys rather than girls.

After hearing that horrible and heartwrenching news, I couldnt sleep at night that day.
There are lakhs of students from non medical fields too.
Even they have to work till 8pm in the office.
And then commute for another 1 and half to 2 hours by public transport to reach home.
Roads gets deserted during the rainy season and the winter season.
And its highly impossible for the parents to go their office to pick them too.
After 24 or 25 years, they have to work to become confident, financially indepedent and to face the real struggles of life.
That itself will suck their energy.
AND WE DONT WANT ANY OTHER DISTURBING THING IN THAT CRUCIAL PHASE RATHER THAN A HAPPY, PEACEFUL WORKING ATMOSPHERE.

When I m discussing this topic and very strange people saying kuch aur hoga , ussi ke sath kyun . I am really upset with this.i asked them she wearing short clothes. Why we ourselves becoming enemy of our own daughters. Our own surroundings. A friend of mine restricted her daughter that you should stop wearing shorts . I m a mother of two boys , and just trying to teach my boys the best. I discussed the whole situation with my 19 year old and told him dare you disrespect any woman .its been more than a week but still shaken . We live in uk.
