Look at the fans of Wong Fu Productions. Those of us that have been with them since day 1 are still with them today. They aren't covered by the mainstream but it is because their fans are the die hard, they know even they may not have the Bieber numbers in the short term, in the long term their fans will still continue to support them and grow with them. Ultimately, that's the hardest part of any artist and their craft. How to continue to evolve as an artist and not just a be one trick pony.
I'm so happy for them. Besides, i feel so proud of joji like a mother but i don't know why. Young people are trying to find their career paths and it seems like they've found it already. What can i say, this is great.

Holy shit I've been following 88rising since Rich Chigga uploaded his first MV, I've seen their earlier collab with the Pink Guy and then Joji, but I didn't know they were the same person. Awesome! I also see 88rising as a bridge between East and West, and as a big fan of many aspects of the Asian culture, I really respect that. Asian culture is very beautiful and complex. They are half of the world and they have many unique artists that can delight us in entirely different ways. Many people are too narrow-sighted and remain complacent with whatever's promoted in their region, too lazy to search themselves for things they might like. I like a lot of stuff and many of my favorites happen to be of Asian origin. When I see something I like it or dislike it based on my taste alone and not some prejudice.
Honestly Sean is the one I wish more content about 88^ would focus on. Seeing him build an empire of friends and celebrating Asian culture is super cool, it's a really interesting come up for sure.
