- A paisagem era demasiado bonita para se desperdiçar assim sem mais nem menos. Especialmente porque alguns dias depois, sem apelo nem agravo, chegaria um tractor para dar lugar a outras colheitas. Aproveitando a passagem por Portugal de Jófríður Ákadóttir, que se encontrava em Portugal para três concertos com as Pascal Pinon, não resistimos a lançar o convite para ter uma vez mais o seu projecto a solo - JFDR de seu nome - na Videoteca Bodyspace. E assim foi. Talvez inspirada pela beleza do local e do momento, a islandesa quis oferecer-nos uma canção absolutamente inédita: “My Work”, em toda a sua melodia circular e beleza, é uma das mais belas criações de Jófríður Ákadóttir até à data. E a estreia não poderia ter tido um enquadramento mais certeiro.

Such a beautiful tune. What tuning is it in? I've been trying to learn it but some notes seem to be in different tuning

@koro901001 EADGBD almost a regular tuning, with the high E was lowered in D. For those who would be interested, I wrote down a grid of the whole song in pdf.
@koro901001 Well, ok then, but I prefer to warn you, it's a little "raw" and probably approximate in terms of music theory. It is indeed the acoustic version above, but I did't bother to postpone the lyrics or the musical theme sung for the moment. Good luck ! She said in an interview that she already had a lot of new material by the time the first JFDR record came out. So many of the songs floating around that aren't on Brazil will probably be on the next album.
