Analysis and theories on Godzilla: Minus One (EGM Edition) Trailer In this trailer, it is evident that many characters from a lot of different franchises, such as Anya from "Spy X Family", and even members from the Spider-Society from the all beloved "Spiderverse", currently coexist in Tokyo. This could either mean that this world is either: 1- One where all of these characters and their stories have always coexisted with eachother. 2- A Nexus Universe, where many characters from across all, or at least a good chunk, of reality come to interact with eachother, being in many cases people with extraordinary capabilities and even powers, who could Identify and relay in someone similar to themselves... And also have fun. In any case, it is curious to think that all of this charcaters are trying to escape from Godzilla, and are even defeated, if not ouright by the monster, leading to the conclusions that either these are "nerfed" versions of all these charcaters in regards to brute force or fire power, or this version of Godzilla is somehow even stronger than common Minus One Goji. It's also worth to note the fact that many members of the Spider-Society are fighting this menace. This could mean that: 1- Following the "All Stories' World" (or ASW) Theory, this is an alternativa, more world/planet centered version of the Spider-Society, that protects the world from any dangers. 2- Following the "Nexus Universe" Theory, either this Universe is some kind of anomaly to reality's many canons for all of these characters, at least from the Spider-Society's perspective, or Godzilla here IS the anomaly, as this creature's mere radioactive existence means a disropture of the canons of many characters. Although, there could be another reason all together for them to try and destroy Godzilla whatsoever. More on that later. It is also worth the mention of Miles and Miguel working together. Whatever they're forced to do this and still are in conflict, or if they are in good terms, it's still unclear. The conflict is so Big that even the imperial Stormtroopers and even a Yautja are working with the Spider-Society and this world's Japonese Naval Forced. It is almost certain that the Yautja's self-destructive instints led him here in order to hunt Godzilla, or even be trying to exterminate the creature not out of habit, but Maybe something else, either some soon to be revealed vengeance or just seing something too dangerous to be kept alive. The fact that Stormtroopers are here could mean that the Empire, or what's lef of it, may be seeking to take hold and control Godzilla, but these could also be rebeled or "free" Stormtroopers that do know what right and wrong, and just may be planning to destroy Godzilla before it causes any more destruction. The Stormtroopers being this realities's version of the military of Japan, USA or the world in general is also a possibility. Finally, we have the mention that "That Monster (Godzilla) will never forgive us". This, in the normal Minus One trailer is most certaintly talking about Godzilla being irradiated and burnt by the Bombing in Japan in 1945, and maybe even being the lone survivor of the nuclear bomb while it's species perished. While this line could also be refering to this as the reason, it is to note who will not be forgiven. While it could very well be refering to humanity in general, the shot of the Scarlet Spider the moment it is said "... will never forgive us" could potentially mean that the Spider-Society is responsible for Godzilla to attack in the first place. This would lead to the question: How and What did they provoked Godzilla's Wrath? They could very be the reason why Godzilla is an irradiated monster and/or the last of his kind, whatever intentionally or not. This could even open the doors to the possibility that this Godzilla has a somewhat different origin story. He's radioactive, that's obvious, but it could very well be how it became a radioactive beast what may change, with the Spider-Society being at fault.
