I was thinking of this feud earlier and remembered the Giants beating the Niners in 85, 86 and 90 in the playoffs but forgot this one. I think of this era this was the only Niner playoff win against the Giants. 3-1 against that dynasty is incredible.
@theeusthenopteron6483 You're right ' '81 counted too. Parcells was defense coordinator back then. '93 was pay back from '86. Lawrence Taylor and Phil Simms' last game.

Un muy buen juego!!! Las dos defensas impresionantes!! Recuerdo que se golpeaban con todas sus fuerzas. I cannot understand why any team would have their 1st string quarterback be the ball holder for field goals and extra points. If the kicker has a slip and hits the qb's hand, wrist or finger, there goes the season.
Every Niner played the perfect game - the kicker. Remember at 12 staying up to about 3am watching this live in the UK
That 84 Niners team was a machine.
Madden said it best: The 49ers offense was “surgical how they attack you!” Facts! Man I miss Madden and Summerall announcing these games!
I LOVE that you include the intro and quality highlights! GREAT WORK!
Thank you, my pleasure!

1981 NFC playoffs and 1993 NFC Playoffs the Niners won. They are all on this channel. 3-3 record in the playoffs between 1981 and 1993.
@@theeusthenopteron6483 Next two playoff matchups were split too: 2002 to SF, 2011 to NYG. Pretty even matchup.
They beat them in 1981 too

Niners could have easily gone undefeated that season. One of the best nfl teams of all time
Yes, Only a late field goal away (against Pittsburgh) from a perfect 19-0 season

Great game. Parcell gets them in 85 and 86.
He was a good coach. I lean more on Belichick’s defenses got them.

That 49er team only lost one game! Wow.
By only 3 points to the Steelers (who lost the AFC Championship to the Dolphins that same season)
