Correct. I only did work on the Sega Genesis version and it was to help make the audio sound as best and crisp as possible. Genesis clearly wins this audio battle. :) And yes... I'm biased! :D

What about Doom Troopers?
Well if it is Lost Vikings, Sound definitely goes to Sega because Matt Furniss and Shaun Hollingworth works are much punch and rocky than the snes.

I am sure snes already won with this one. the sega game misses music in some levels where you have to save uncle fester. Also the music room is quiet till you saved everyone.

leegsy Same as Saturn, only with proper shadows/transparencies. PS1 still the best of all. Maybe the no-loading patch on PC got its way on the final sentence, but again, PS1 is the original, the rest are all ports.

5- Thunder Spirits (Thunder Force AC) vs Thunder Force 3
Those are some really good suggestions. Loved Mega Bomberman and the Disney games back in the day.
Super Bomberman 3 vs Mega Bomberman would be more fair
And also Phantasy Star IV vs Final Fantasy III would be much better than the first ones

As far as those two ports go, I'd have to give it to SNES. But I think we can all agree, the Neo Geo AES port is the closest to arcade perfect, since, you know... it's a direct arcade port!
@Clint Gulley Like I said "It's the closest since it's a direct arcade port." Best version of Fatal Fury, hands down.
The Genesis/MD version has a debug code to do juggle combos like in Tekken! Fatal Fury on Genesis/MD already wins!

Tiny Toons All Stars is such a underrated gem. One of the best sport's games of the 16 bit era.

Ive seen this requested already before, but i think it would be great if you did doom 32x vs SNES, ive heard about both but unsure about which is better.

Both suck, but the SNES one is nearly unplayable.
32X looks and runs better. SNES sounds better, has more levels and you can strafe with the shoulder buttons but it looks and moves like, well, poo.

I had only a Genesis and my friend a SNES. We both hadn't access to a PC to play Doom. When it was launched for the SNES I remember how frustrated I felt. Until we get a copy to play in his house, man it is bad, I had constant headaches trying to play that shit. It is a pixelated mess struggling to run. I played the 32x version in a rental store later, it looks a bit better, runs faster, but it's missing content and still sucks. The first playable console version of Doom is for the PlayStation.
I'd love you guys if you were to bring in some one to represent the Turbo Grafx and go through every game in the Valis series.

I like how this one was scripted. Instead of you each making your points seperately it was more like a back and forth argument which fits the tone of the show a lot more imo. Great episode, you guys are always improving keep it up!

I've been waiting for them to do an episode on Aero the Acro-Bat since 2013. Hope they get around to it real soon.
Graphics = Tie. Some stuff missing in both games. Both still look great, though. Presentation = Nintendo. Just slightly better. Enough said. Sound = Sega. The muffled sounds and voice-overs do suck on SNES. The music is a tie, though. Gameplay = Tie. Screen resolution doesn't count too much at all. Faster gameplay can make the game more fun. There is something that makes the SNES superior, cheat codes. Genesis only has 1 code (I believe). SNES has several. Better game is for the SNES.

Originally, I thought SNES was gonna win because of how much better it looked... how wrong I was. I never noticed how BAD the SNES version sounded! Mega Drive/Genesis version sounds a LOT more clearer and crispier. You can barely tell what you can hear on the SNES version. Slowdown on SNES was expected, but I also didn't think it would be THAT slow... just wow. This video is just proof that Gameplay > Graphics always.

Thanks for the comparison! Maybe I should try the Sega Version of this game. The SNES Version is not even decent. It's just terrible, especially the top down stages. Judge Dredd is the way better game imo.
