- July 19th, 2022 was quite an interesting day on the bus side of the CTA. A 2018 NovaBus LFS #8330 was spotted around 6am on the 62H route. Later that day it was spotted by A-Team member @chicagoghoul4013 on the 49 and X49. To our surprise while this occurred, bus #8363 entered revenue service for the first time on the #152 Addison. Enjoy this very last minute compilation of buses, along with some 2002 6400-series Novas as well!
Don't forget to tune in Friday at 7pm for Old Nova Hunting Vol. 2!

I miss being in Chicago, and, yes, I'm strange enough that I can sit here for hours watching buses. But there's one thing that bothers me. I like reading destination signs, and just as a destination sign is coming into focus, you change the focal length on the camera. Then just as my eyes adjust to that, and I start reading the sign again, you change the focal length again. I know it keeps the whole bus in frame, but, well, maybe it's just me, I'd like to focus in on that destination sign more. Not necessarily every time (especially when we're looking at multiple buses with the same signs), but once in a while. But I don't want this to be taken as a negative comment because I really do love watching those buses.
It is really good seeing 20 years worth of LFS models roaming the streets of Chicago. 2002-2022 just amazing stuff. Good footage as always.
First ones from 2000 and 2001, but those are now retired to my understanding.
Greetings from NYC!
I just wanna say how *BEAUTIFUL* your new LFSs look unlike ours with UNCECESSARY OBJECTS! I'm not saying that I'm jealous or anything but... I perfer CTA's LFSs more than MTA's LFSs
I just rode a conehead today and I actually like them. They sound like our 7900-series Novas.
@@ChicagolandTransit i fucking despise coneheads, thank gosh they removed then in the gen 4's😊
One thing to note is that the 8350 series buses don't have a rear window.
8330 was borrowed today from 103rd Stony Island it was a loaner to 74th Garage
I take the cta 49 bus from hirch to grace in every Saturday morning to go bowling
Ah so Nova switched to the Original windows from 2009-2017
Cermak Express?! :o
It is a old discontinued route.
I ride that bus earlier
𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐦 😊
