I had one of the original 3 knob delta trems. Very nice pedal. I like a lot sided trem. I got a more pedalboard friendly one now but for sound the delta is hard to beat, if indeed there is anything better sounding

Sounds great, nice video. Would be cool if there was an additional foot switch to have it on as a preamp and then engage the trem separately. When you run it in stereo, is it likely that there will be issues with ground loops or phase between the amps?
I have an effectrode tube drive that I link up to the strymon flint, would someone please tell me I don’t need this! What do you reckon would it be a huge step up, I mean the strymon although digital is pretty damn good. Anyone compared the 2 or experienced both?
Hey Joe, thanks so much for the video, it helped me get around the hidden functionality on this pedal! One thing I am trying to figure out is why I seem to be getting a much more drastic volume loss in Filament and Fluid modes with the depth knob past 2pm on the dial than you seem to be. My pedal has the boost built in with the depth at full CCW. Is there anything I can do about this? Is the dwell pot inside related to this?
Hi, last year. I had the same issues. I send the pedal to effectrode. Made some update to make each mode more even. But the more you turn the depth up the more there's a volume drop. Which can be adjust with the trimpots. But they are inside the pedal. So not the best option. Got tired, went to a really good local effect/amp builder who mod it. Put some outside potentiometer with the same values of the trimpots. I still wish there was direct volume pot. For me it a total non-sens to not have a proper volume knob. But with the mod by effectrode and outside trimpots, it work like it should be with two independant volume knob for left and right.

Have you ever messed around with the dwell pot? Sam @ Effectrode said "The Dwell trim sets the minimum intensity of the light falling on the photocells." So does that result in a depth change? Shrugs shoulders. :)

Tremolo volume: The idea is to have the SAME volume of a) just guitar and b) tremolo ¨on¨. The way it is set up originaly, as presented here, is that when tremolo is ¨on¨, volume jumps up way too much. So while attempting to correct loss of volume when tremolo is ¨on¨, what is actually done is making it equally bad, and that is, untolerable INCREASE of volume. Too bad.
Volume can be increased per side by internal pots labeled as L and R. I changed both sides slightly above 10 O’ clock instead of 14 where it was set before, for minimal volume boost. Somewhere between 9:45 - 10:00 seems to be utility volume.

Having a 'preamp engage' footswitch could definitely be cool :-) Both outputs were definitely in phase with each other - and no ground loops!
I realise it’s going to be better than the strymon flint but how much? Do you think it’s night and day or much more subtle than that?

Hmm...not 100% sure on that. Might be worth shooting Phil an email - he'll be much better placed to figure that one out! :-)

You can adjust the ‘On’ volume with the internal trim pot.
