@@swrveGaming made this video a while back but the game file is called SP024 I think this year. It tells the game how many of the cores to load up, which can help performance a ton
Troubleshooting Low FPS - Hardware, Software, and COD Config Files Checklist

@@swrveGaming I was in this video, the video I talked to you about going to find I was using FG and playing without. The bookmarks are there
I think you have afmf2 on or fsr3 frame gen on. I dont believe this setup runs 300fps on native 1440p max, especially after watching other benchmarks with the same cpu and gpu only getting 180-200+
@@ltjSauve unless frame generation is on at the game files level that possible but my 14900K/4090 same settings applied was about the same so unless the game files which I haven’t touched are broken I’d say that’s about right. Driver level all that stuff is off
@@ltjSauve but also 180-200 is really low unless you’re at 4K
@@ltjSauve you were right and the game files has Frame Interpolation on by default I made another video that I’ll send live here in a bit
man something ain't right with me, 13900k 4090, max 1440p i can barely break 200frames, low dipping to 130 ish on certain maps..
looking at the smoke in the middle of rewind i cant break 130fps no matter the settings high or low
Yea, you're the second person that said that. Remember when I was having that issue in the beta with my 7800X3D then retested and had way better performance after messing with some BIOS settings. I wonder if that has anything to do with you and the other person's woes
@@FIVESTRZ Maybe dude, i’ve had issues for a while as you know, have a X870E-E and a 7800X3D coming next week, i think i’ve had my fair share of intel issues at this point😭 perhaps a 7800XTX on the cards too after seeing these stats👀
@@driftwize Yea the only thing is the big lead seems to mainly be on FPS games that typically use competitive settings. Black Myth Wukong was BRUTAL with RT on with this set up
@@FIVESTRZ I’ll be honest single player games arent my forte anymore, i really only play Cod,Apex and Destiny which are all hardly demanding, i just want and set up that runs smoothly, especially if its costing 3K+ i’ll sort it eventually!
got the same exact setup but i hate bo6, i used to play dmz.
I’m digging BO6. Gotta turn on the auto sprint to make it makes sense though
how you getting like 300+ i get about 200 with same specs, edit - actually i think you have frame gen on, you can only turn it off the campaign because i remember before i turned it off i was getting 300 aswell
There’s a config file out there that fixes the issues I get 370-412fps on 4090 7800x3d with it windows 1124h2
Updated the description but if you haven’t played the campaign then frame generation is by default set to on, I’ve updated a few comments but you’re about right with the performance on Extreme preset depending on map, I’m between 170-240 depending on where and the map.
@@FIVESTRZ very weird from cod, it also made my game feel like shit
My game was butter with this on, more stutters now but I had only 15-20 minutes. Wont be digging much deeper until my weekend.
@@FIVESTRZ damn really? mine on max settings with frame gen was getting 300 but felt like 80
For me on 7950x and 7900xtx only get 230 on 1080p definitely cpu bound
Genuinely one of those things where you'd get more fps if you turned up the resolution lol.
Likely the case there especially if the GPU utlization is stuck on something really low like 80%. Flipping on FG could also help though, if you haven't played the campaign and just launched straight into MP then it's on by default like here.
@@FIVESTRZ and on mw3 I would get atleast 360-400 on this system comp settings 1080p isn’t it the same engine?
Yea for the most part that is how they do it but I think Cold War when it launched was a bit rougher on the 2080 Ti than even I expected unless using DLSS. Kinda like this one is for the 4090... I don't fully get it and it might just be "Extreme" preset so I will test more when I get time this weekend
I'm on p5 that's why I turn cross play off 😊
Cross-play saved COD on PC and a few other games. There's some cheaters on there because of it but then on console you've got the XIM and Cronus users so it's not like you're safe from exploits and cheaters or people willing to pay for advantage
beast on ps4 graphics... he game looks awful even on ultra native.
@@-Rizecek- it’s much better than the beta though, usually not the case there. Typically they drop the same game textures and all. Made an update to this because apparently Frame Generation is on via the game files or the campaign menu only on the AMD cards
1 % low 😅
@@DannyLoodgieter yea FG boosts them super high FG off is down to 115 ish range
I run on 1440p 165hz with the 5800x3d and the 7900xtx I only get around 145 fps on zombies but drops all the way down to 70 when spinning the box. And it also drops to 100fps on infected for some reason idk why, I thought I should buy a more powerful gpu but it turns out that’s not the problem I think
@@suberlex2468 I haven’t touched zombies, never been a big zombies guy but is MP doing the same thing?
@ yeah only on infected though, you should try playing it and testing it out
@suberlex2468 don’t think I’ll ever touch Zombies but maybe the infected mode someday
hey im planning on getting a very similar config, hows ur frames in multiplayer? and whats ur frames in mw3 mp if you played it?
@ mw3 mp worked flawlessly with a stable 165fps, and that’s with the texture streaming turned off, bo6 multiplayer runs fine but for some reason some things make the frame drop more then half way like the glowing zombies in the infected mode in multiplayer drops it down to 110 fps or spinning the mystery box in zombies drops it down all the way down to 70 for some reason. But it stays most of the time at a stable 157 fps at ultra 1440p settings
These maps are trash. Same small 3 lane maps for all of them
My biggest thing is at least we got new maps instead of remakes from older black ops games. I’m down with that
@@FIVESTRZ that's true it's a start
@GusVasquez-ip4fy hopefully by the time this games lifecycle ends we have a better mix of big and medium sized maps without leaning in on remakes/reimagining old maps. Straight new experiences
