- The 80-year-old artist - heralded for her sculptures throughout New York City - was honored with a rare solo show at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine. "Sunday Morning" anchor Charles Osgood talked with Nevelson, in a profile that was originally broadcast August 6, 1981.
What an awesome woman!
My grandmother trudy Stanford was her understudy. I love my grandma's art pure amazing.
remarkable lady with remarkable work
She was so incredibly influential. I always see her influence, in my city. Tucson. There are abundant tributes to her here. To me, I would call it emotional cubism. It’s resonant, mysterious, and has real feeling behind it.
So, how did it turn out? Did the people embrace the new statue on the library lawn?
She's so smart. I read a quote by her. It's not exact but she said she had been so lonely at times, she was glad to see a mouse.
I'm here for art class lol
