ABOUT JURASSIC WORLD: EVOLUTION
A brand new Jurassic World video game - Jurassic World: Evolution has been announced. Coming in Summer 2018 this park builder for PC, Xbox One and PS4 is going to let us finally build our very own Jurassic World. A sort of sequel to Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and the Jurassic World film, Jurassic World Evolution will contain a bunch of dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex Rexy, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Indominus Rex, Indoraptor (okay probably) and more. Jurassic World Evolution will release alongside Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and is the top upcoming dinosaur game for 2018.

We know indominus rex is compatible with the coastal skin which is described as “dark grey skin patterns” but otherwise I’m clueless about the alternative skins, I guess we’ll have to wait and see

I’m really hoping this thing camouflages and can’t be located with any management views. If that isn’t the case, this will just be another carnivore.
"another carnivore". Probably has traits to be able to take down fences easier than other carnivores. Going to cost alot more to incubate it & to keep it safe. I do hope it has camouflage abilities because that would be great. (if it's hunting, it should be able to camouflage)

Pretty sure the tongue color change was shadow cast by the upper jaw as the head turned briefly to block the light source.
Anyway, I LOVED this profile in the sense that it gave me these tense, eerie, terrified feelings; exactly what I want my Indominus to inflict on me as the guy responsible for keeping her contained. The fourth wall break legitimately scared me, and even though I saw that bite coming, the bite itself startled me as well. Just really well scripted all around, and an excellent way to end the profile campaign to bring us to launch week.
This whole process has introduced me to your channel, which I didn't know existed before JWE. I'll be keeping a close watch on this channel in the future and I look forward to seeing what you do with your park!
Absolutely gorgeous! Even walks like it does in the movie. the attention to detail on these dinosaurs is just immense! Cant wait for the release now

I kinda hope all the species profiles (seen and unseen) are used in game. Maybe on screens around each park, randomly playing for guests to watch in joy, or in terror.
It would be awesome if we got the option to get the Indoraptor's skin on the Indominus!

i didnt think we'd get an actual species profile for the indominus was kinda hoping to see the giga.also wow that social stat is super low indom probably just barely tolerates there being birds in her inclosure

Akaryusan Do you know what the population requirement is supposed to represent as it's not other dinosaurs.
Freddie Williams - Population refers to how crowded the enclosure is, social is for same species and other dino interaction needs.
Seems odd though, especially considering how much of the Indominus's neurotic behavior was apparently fueled by social isolation.
Weirdanimalboy - because it's following the film lore, it is to dangerous to itself and other dinos due to ultra high aggressive genes.
Had to rewatch this a few times to take everything in - that is one crazy comfort bar!
I'll always have a soft spot for the not-a-log Dilophosaurus, but I think I'm going with the first ever Species Profile as my favourite for the fun hype-building journey it lead to. Ceratosaurus, you win this one!
Triceratops was actually the first species profile.
They were both covered in one video though, so I just counted it as both.

I hope indominus uses her arms more, you can see that she kind of awkwardly keeps her arms out of the way like Spino does probably so they can use same animation for all large theropods
Love the detail put into it since it's based on the movie.
Universal gave the models for the movie to Frontier to use.

You know, an expansion down the line based around hybrids could be pretty awesome. A flyer expansion, Aquatic expansion, and Hybrid expansion would all be really great post launch content in my opinion

I'm hoping for an Aviary & Aquatic Expansion and an Visitor-Attraction DLC that adds things like Safari-rides inside enclosures, canoe rides, ropeways (for elevated places) etc.

Yeah if it could become camouflaged and not show up when you have to use darts on it. It only appears when you get too close.

In case anyone is wondering, this'll be the only hybrid we'll be getting at release. After the FREE fallen kingdom DLC/patch is released, the Indoraptor will also be released, which is also a hybrid. No doubt we'll see even more hybrids in the future.
Will there be a emergency alert button like in jpog when your Dino’s would break out u would press that button and all the guest run scared into the shelter or the park entrance?
A couple days ago, I was discussing the game with another UA-camr and he once said “I did see an emergency mode and shelter active in one of the islands that had a storm.”
If his observation is correct, then I am sure we will be getting the ability to declare emergency in our parks.
I was having doubts about that indominus in the game, but after seeing this. It will put a challenge to keep her in her enclosure and I like that.

Its been a fun journey waiting for evolution since i first found out about it in february. I will miss all the JW:E videos but with around 38 hours until i can become locked in my room for about 8 uninterrupted hours, im high on anticipation.

On the Indomnus stat screen, other than the obscenely high Comfort requirement, at the bottom are the Population and Social needs.
It's interesting to note that, as expected it prefers to be the only Indominus in an enclosure (as the Social bar shows by being at the top of the blue area with presumably only one there), the Population bar (how many total dinosaurs of all species it can stand) seems like it might support at least a couple other dinosaurs in its exhibit. (unless the bar size scales differently between categories and it wants to be the _only_ dino in its entire exhibit)

@BestInSlot Great vid, man can't believe the game is coming out next Tuesday. Time sure does fly by. I do have a question though in regards to DLC...do you think they're might be a "Site B" mode or something similar where you let your dinos roam freely without building a park? I loved that feature in JPOG and would love to see a version of that as a new mode.
Very excited for the game regardless but it was a thought while replay JPOG and could tie it in some way.

I have one question: What do we use to keep it contained? Is there a specific fence type needed to keep it in it's habitat?
probably the highest fence possible. (concrete/metal I would assume) We have seen the classic low style fence shown in Jurassic Park and in certain images we have seen concrete walls.
Hopefully, because I could easily see this dino breaking out of its habitat repeatedly. I also think there's fences with metal bars too.
Do you think the clip where it kills the Anky is a different skin or do you think it can camouflage a little?

2 things I wonder:
1) will she camouflage?
2) in JW, it was said the size we saw her in the movie, she was not full grown. So I’m curious to see if she’ll be bigger (her full size in the game) or the same size as in the movie?
Now the question goes, how will she camouflage? I imagine her laying down in heavily bushed areas, mimicking their colors and laying in wait for animals she knows are nearby.
The tongues color only seems to change due to the shadow

Just came to say... I just got back from watching fallen kingdom and if anyone reading this is still unsure if they should watch it... Definitely 100% go watch it! It's a really good movie it's quite different from the first Jurassic world but I definitely think it's worth watching.

can i ask, are dinosaurs capable of attacking people on the run (like in the trailers) or do they have to fall over first?
I've seen a video of a Stegosaurus crashing into a running group of people. But I think the carnivores all trigger a fix animation that starts with a person falling down.

well we've seen a T.Rex trample multiple people, but if the dino is eating someone then they probably have a separate animation where it singles someone out to kill them

Hybrids like Stegoceratops and IndoRaptor are gonna be DLC?
KSound Kaiju indo raptor is in the free fallen kingdom dlc most likely
indoraptor is DLC but i don't think stegoceratops will ever be in the game

I wish I rex were almost impossible to keep from breaking out after a while. Like if everything weren't working smoothly then she would try to find a way out before you notice. That would make her an awesome challenge.
This is kind of wishful thinking, but I haven’t really read up on this game. However I do pose a question that I hope someone has an answer to, will there be more hybrids or is I. rex it?

probably only cannon hybrids. (indominus/indoraptor) I. rex is from the base game and I. raptor is free Fallen Kingdom DLC on the 22 of June
