The "little ones" he's talking about at 5:45 are called horizontal vortices and they are a great indicator that a tornado is truly violent
It's also awesome to see a big creator like him talk about something that's been my passion for like 15 years now
❤😊
My favorite showing this is the Tuscaloosa tornado prob one of the coolest looking tornadoes I have ever seen
I've not had a "passion" for tornadoes but I've watched A LOT of stuff on them. Like a lot. I know a lot about them now. I'm fascinated by them. Though they're not a passion, I love watching videos of them. Of course away from people's houses in a field doing it's own thing but they are spectacular.
@@iiDOCKERY April 27th was a crazy day for sure, we may not see an environment like that ever again. That Tuscaloosa tornado destroyed my uncles house and killed his neighbors, a day not many people in Alabama will ever forget.
Me too man
That guy had no concern for his life on the first clip.
I live in tornado valley and in all reality most of us are so use to seeing them lol I know we're weird
Or the last either
Na the last dude had even less he was literally inside the F-5 WATCHED A WHOLE HOUSE FLIP smh
@@Irish_hamst3rI live right at the end of tornado Alley in southern Indiana so we get tornadoes from time to time some are freaky but during the day I'm fine it's the ones at night that gets me
@@Irish_hamst3rand we had a tornado scare the other it was just a big ass funnel cloud it was just a few days ago in southern Indiana were used to them but not used to tornadoes are still scary no matter what part of the world ur from
Let’s get a Nickmercs an ReedTimmer tornado chase asap!
This would actually be an insane collab
Yes we need this!
I am a storm chaser and currently getting my degree in Meteorology watching your reaction to these tornadoes is priceless and some of the people in these videos if not all are very lucky to be alive. I'm not going to geek out too much and describe every little thing about these historic events but if you have any questions feel free to ask and I would be more than happy to expand your knowledge about these storms or events themselves. Great video Nick hope your love for weather grows even more! Never Stop Chasing!
Lol I was waiting for the last words . " never stop chasing " I like tornadoes too
Alls I care about IS THE TIDE !!!
We all have Google too bro.
@@TokeThenJokewho you calling we?
if a tornado is standing still it means its coming right for you
No it doesn't... it could be going away... or literally dancing back n forth... why proud day the save thing on every video is beyond me
You should always treat it like it's coming right at you anyways but what you're saying isn't a fact
@@BodieB But you’re also saying as if they’re 100% wrong 😒.
@@BodieB80% to 90% of the time if it’s not moving it’s coming for you it’s vary common for them to go in a straight line
@@BodieB always assume its coming toward you, its the difference between life and death
Never thought Id see Nick reacting to tornado stuff too. Im fuckin here for it!
First guy - “I don’t know which way it’s going but it looks like it’s coming right towards me”.
Me - There is so many things wrong and stupid with that statement.
what an autistic thing to complain about
"im not moving" had me crying 🤣
Bro was basically asking to fucking die 💀
From what I understand in the last clip, the man who shot that video and his dog lived. He never made it downstairs. His dog who was with him also lived. His wife on the first floor died from injuries sustained. If he had gone downstairs, the house would have collapsed on him. He was a lucky dude.
you want to be on the lowest floor in the most interior room for best chance of survival
@@BJJasskicker but in this situation thats why he lived
I live in Tornado Alley and I totally agree the lowest floor / interior room is the way to go if you don’t have a basement or shelter. However, I was just pointing out the fluke of what happened.
He went up into the attic to find some lanterns to use, when he saw the tornado he pulled out the camera and began filming. It wasn't until he realized that he sat there for too long he knew he was too old to make it downstairs quick enough so instead he stayed there and accepted his fate. He woke up to his neighbor who had found his wife's body underneath him in the rubble.
Guy in the first video was also under the overpass. Which is no.1 on places not to be in a car 😂
Those horizontal vertices on the Tuscaloose tornado are mad
Ive literally been randomly watching Tornado videos for the past 3 weeks and now one of my favorite creators just uploaded a Tornado video
I live in Tennessee and we just had a tornado and now I just been watching tornado videos constantly after it ass well
Check out the Jarrell Texas tornado. It’s called Dead Man Walking
I used to watch top 10 natural disasters stopped growing up then watched nelk going into a tornado so I’ve js been watching shii like tornadoes too bro
Nick in the Dominator with Reed Timmer would be epic
In the first clip, whats he waiting for it to hit the bush in front of him before he reacts 😂😂😂
Would love to see more of this.
3:35 all it would take is any slight shift in its direction and that dude was a goner.
Hell naw...im getting tf away😂
Bro said maybe duck down 😂😂😂😂
As a person who lives in the Midwest its not always clear cut which direction the tornado is headed because of it's size and the fact that they can turn on a dime. The guy in the first clip should have probably backwards and then try to turn to another road horizontal to the road he was just on, because if a tornado looks like its coming at you it is or its headed the opposite direction. You really can't tell because of the size
You absolutely got to do more of these. That was great.
"if i had to listen to this guy every day bruh" as he's violently chewing into his mic 😂
After going through the most recent cat 4 hurricane in Florida and being in the direct path of the eye (Punta Gorda) I can safely say after 12 hours weathering the storm that hearing the little tornadoes tearing trees apart and howling nearby was the scariest part
Been through two cat 4s and a cat 5, hurricanes and purely terrifying. Its the waiting for shit to hit the fan that kills you.
I live right outside of Moore. 1999 was the strongest tornado ever recorded and was horrific.
Why do you live there
@@DrizzingFoTime it’s cheap lol
“Build ford tough can take on a nator” why do I see ford actually doing something like this 😂
and the story nick is talking about in the ending of the video.. the video recording is being recorded by a grandpa (older man) and they cant move well cause of how their age.. his wife also cant move well either, she is downstairs. his wife ended up passing away along with the neighbors daughter and son and they were all apart of the Shultz family.
Don’t ever move to Oklahoma my boy😂
Never seen your channel in my life. Been watching tornados for the past 2 hours. Randomly come across you. Subscribing hoping you’ll post more tornado videos cause this was so funny.
The first guy saying "I don't really know what to do but just sit here" is Darwinism at its finest.
I went thru those 2011 tornadoes thru northern Alabama. It was crazy. I couldn’t get home after they went thru. It was by far the craziest thing I’ve lived thru. I feel lucky that myself, nor my wife were directly impacted, but so much of the surrounding was totaled. It was crazy.
Natural selection at its finest in that first clip 🤣🤣 let him stay there lmao
I’ve heard it is best to take shelter. Outrunning a tornado is unlikely.
Awesome videos!! Love me some tornadoes. Mayfield, kentucky was one of the worst ones I’ve seen
To me tornadoes are the most beautiful and yet scariest natural disaster out there. Can turn into absolute monsters with no warning and destroy towns in seconds and be gone as quickly as they formed. Joplin, Missouri is a prime example of this.
no lie i watched like 4hours of tornado footage yesterday lmao i find them fasanating pecos hank is the man
This is amazing I watch tornadoes all the time too!
“Maybe sit here and duck down” yea cause that will stop it from pickin you up 😂
This makes me twitch watching this tornado video..😂
I love these videos
Influencer ERA LETS GO
Have you seen the recent one if it going over a train with the crew stuck on board? That was pretty intense
Sometimes I wish a tornado would just come along to pick me up and take me to the Yellow Brick Road.
if it ain’t moving, it’s coming towards you 😂😂
Nick these storm chasers are crazy
None of these were filmed by storm chasers. Just random people that had no idea how close they came to death.
That last clip is wild
The Moore tornado in 2013 was the second time Moore got hit with an F5. That was also an F5
What's an a5?
F5"
@@chapoxc they measure tornados by their windspeed, and the amount of destruction they cause. An F5 tornado is about the strongest and most destructive there is.
F1 73-112 mph
F2 113-157 mph
F3 158-206 mph
F4 207-260 mph
F5 261-318 mph
@@ssikpiyelnats ahhhh thanks
@@ssikpiyelnatsyou forgot the "E" .
The Clem clip (the last one) always leaves me so confused. The only answer I can come up with was it mesmerized him so much he didn't even think to go get safe cuz he couldn't quit watching
No he didn't think it would hit him he said self it turned a little
Town i grew up in, in Sayler Park, Ohio was completely destroyed by a tornado before i was born, you can still find stair cases, cars, etc. out in the woods.
the first one in rochelle Illinois was right in my backyard. took out a lot of houses and a couple bussinesses. first tornado in that area in over 50 years
1st video is a true illinois resident lmfao we just watch it until its to late and the fact he is 45 minutes away from where i live is just great
Last one was crazy!!
That first guy. Well, I may have miscalculated. I'm just gonna set here and prepare to meet Jesus. Like, wtf bro, get outta there
If the tornado is "standing still" It's coming your way.
The first video has LiveLeak logo on top..you know this ain’t ending good lmao
They’re fascinating I’m with ya Nicky
Can’t watch the video for you smackin in the mic tho
The animal nick turns into when he eats something 😂 the heavy breathing
I thought that was the guy filming lol
That guys guardian angel was looking over him that day
I love how people just sit and watch as these tornadoes are right in front of them instead of getting to cover
I love these vids bc I love natural disasters
Man I remember a video of a family recording and then the tornado goes right over their house and they're screaming and all that and then after its over they show the house and its gone. They literally have no house and all you can see is the sky above them.
The first guy literally made me so mad like wtf you mean you don’t know what to do driveeeeeee away!! In the opposite direction some people are literally slow and lack common sense 🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I always thought the only thing missing in your videos was you chomping on a protein bar with your mic on. Finally got it!
Aside from a tornado personally I think a pole shift is the scariest disaster out there…
happy Sunday bro GBY
Nick, the first person just rolled over lol
A earthquake followed by a tsunami is the scariest natural disaster there is.
As a victim of May 20th I will say that was the scariest tornado, especially since I was a 4th grader in briarwood elementary
Watch Pecos Hank tornado videos they’re great!!!
I’m from Joplin MO tornado 🌪️ 2011 was the scariest year ever most scariest thing ever love your videos
Nick should go chasing with Reed Timmer.
The Joplin tornado and the 1999 Moore OK tornado will always stand as 2 of the absolute worst, over 140 killed in Joplin with thousands injured. There’s a guy on UA-cam that has a great multiple videos of the Joplin tornado, I’m from Missouri and went through there 2 weeks after and I’ll never forget seeing everything for about a quarter mile path nothing was standing, houses trees etc. and even pavement tore from the roadway
Jarrell Texas was terrible!!! Dead Man Walking
I was in OK in 2000 for that one that hit southern OK city. Went up just after looked like Armageddon just a mile of nothing but flat land everything gone
Kind of wild, last 3 or 4 days I've also been looking into tornadoes. Maybe we got a big one coming 👀 somethings in the air, and it's not sweaty balls
The first guy, legend has it, he is stilll sitting in his truck under the overpass due to the weight of his balls.
The dominator 3 is calling your name
I live near the tornado that went through Rochelle, that was a scary one
First video pissed me off 😂😂
some people just have main character syndrome and think "i'll be fine if I film this tornado from my front porch while the tornado heads right towards me" its crazy
2:17 they say if a tornado looks like it’s not moving it come toward you
Going left and right isn’t an option sometimes, I’ve been in a tornado that I later found out was a mile wide in size.
Tuscaloosa one was horrific and the fact that he said he sound like gauge that’s my cousin lmao😂
You have to react to the Joplin Missouri Tornado. Top 3 most destructive of all time and killed the 2nd most people of any tornado. It was a nightmare but brought our city closer together and we rebuilt. I hate tornado season. We have had 3 touch down this year in the area. Crazy
Last dude was nuts
I can say it better to see it on the screen rather than in real life because I’ve seen and experienced a tornado demolished my house with one swoop and it was only a EF3
The Moore May 3rd 1999 was the worst one with estimated speeds of I think 380mph. I was actually in the storm that caused that and we could tell it was gonna do something nasty and that was the fastest I ever drove home to get in to our storm shelter. I saw a guy in a new Corvette at the time hauling ass also. It was Convertible and the top was shredded because of the hail.
Check out Reed Timmer man! I love a good storm.
And the scariest thing about tornadoes having survived a few is the tail end of it is the strongest and the most dangerous
They have somethings in the bottom of the car that screw in the ground and make the car stay still 😂😂
April 27, 2011 was a historic day for tornadoes and was what is called a super outbreak day for tornadoes
should check out "dead man
walking" tornados those are crazy looking
Yeah strong tornadoes produce multiple vortices. That’s what third extra tornadoes are called. The wadena tornado. From my experience, produced 2 F4 tornadoes, the largest started off as a quarter mile wide cone that would dissipate and reappear over one spot multiple times. This tornado tracked 18 miles if I’m right and it had F5 winds and even grew to almost a mile wide. It hit farm land and didn’t touch urban communities so it got a lesser rating. Tied into it tornado sister that hit wadena as an F4
So the little tornadoes inside bigger ones are called sub vortices and they only occur in ef4-5. They are also far more dangerous as they are usually always high end ef4-5
Eating into his mic while complaining about someone's voice is wild lmao
For real
Bro did sound like an NPC though 😂
If you can't tell what direction a tornado is going then its legit going right at you
So if you're ever in a situation, like the 1st guy. If it appears to not be moving then seek shelter. Cause it's coming towards you
Stay safe and weather aware.
I've watched a lot of the recent one live, Reed Timmer live streams them very cool to watch, just not when they hit towns or neighborhoods.
I’m from Texas and we have the most reported tornadoes each year
Bro me too I just got into tornadoes like I watch videos before I go to sleep
The worst disaster is a Florida thunder storm
the “little ones” you are talking about are horizontal vortices
RFD on that Moore tornado
The worst tornado ever document in the US was the trị state tornado in 1925 that killed 695 people. The 2013 Moore Oklahoma tornado killed 25, and the 1999 Moore oklahoma tornado killed 36. Fun fact about the 1999 F5, it had winds speeds of up to 301mph (the fastest winds on earth ever recorded)
Hey nick if you are interested in more tornadoes videos you should watch a documentary on April 27th 2011 outbreaks
He doesn't care. He is using the recent tornado outbreak for views.
