This is DKY`s most interesting interview ever, I`ve really enjoyed listening to the man, Kofi Ntow Gyan. He`s full of humor, zeal, passion.... big-ups, legend!
Growing up in Sunyani, Rasta as we used to call him was the main man. Those were the days Bofoakwa vrs BA United was a real derby. As a Bofoakwa fan, I was happy when Kotoko came for him. Rasta, I am loving your story. All the best in your coaching career.
Wow Kwaku, more grease to your elbow. Ntow Gyan was one of my idolized player. Very strong midfield guy. He used to riding motorcycle through my neighborhood. I remember him very well even I was a kid then. I remember it was sad when Kotoko loss him to an injury. By far this is one of your lively interview. Ntow Gyan is such a funny and lovely guy. Stay blessed Ntow Gyan, my hero!
DKY ,you have done it again, thanks for bringing this legend , he is right about the change of names, Moses Cofie became Moses Anene and Charles Opare became Charles Opera when they came to Enugu Rangers in the 90s
This is another interesting interview, one of the best. Just like the one with Armah Senegal, Sam Johnson, and a few others. It’s been so interesting and engaging from the beginning to the end. He was really a stubborn kid and player. You could see where his toughness came from.
I still remember the swag cup match between Kumasi Asante kotoko and Accra hearts of oath at the baba yara sports stadium and I must confess Ntow gyan and the likes of bright Obeng, mamuda Mohammed, Frimpong manso. No cap those were the days !!
Thank You DKY for this interview, indeed it's the best interview I have watched on your channel, I thought ur interview with Muhammad Odoom brought me memories but Ntow Gyan's supercede that one, bless up.
Mr. Ntow Gyan could have played for Barca if it wasn’t for injuries. He was the heart and soul of the Kotoko midfied, my opinion. I enjoyed the interview. Keep it up DKY.
Amazing interview. Ntow is so funny. I remember those days so well. Where’s is Kyenkyenhene? Mr Yeboah can you please interview him. Thank you for bringing all this Great people back
Interesting. His Black Stars story collaborates well with your interview with Stanley Aboraa when the later stated that he was given a special role by Bukhard in the match against Nigeria. Ntow might have disappointed the coach big time. He could have gone places had he not left camp. All said he was a great player and I was sad when he got injured. Good luck, Kofi
I'm very familiar with the B/A - Voradep - Bofo story... In recent times that is still a very popular story in Sunyani. People even associate his injuries to that curses from the Bofoakwa supporters.. Ntow Gyan is a legend when you go to Sunyani
Nice interview. I loved Ntow Gyan back in the days. I was however listening if he would confirm if he’s an uncle to Asamoah Gyan, but I guess that question didn’t come up 🤔
Kwaku, please I'm watching live from the United States, new jersey. Kwaku ask him what happened between him and George Arthur, at sunyani coronation park during B/A United training when he decided to play for kotoko?
power man ntow gyan, the only time i saw ntow gyan was in sunyani at wukuada dwam and he was pushing his mountain bike hey he was looking huge athletic and strong.
I know him paa ,i played against him in during colts he was too strong for us .and i remember master Obeng the carpenter and team manager this guy is tough and still look good at his age
Heh! This guy, Ntow Gyan was a wicked/ tough midfielder. He was a former player of BA United and Kotoko, Okwawu United. He, Maxwell Konadu and Kwame Ayew were the main players with dreadlocks in the Gh league.
hmmm, I remember when I was a kid staying near RAS Ntow Gyan's house in fiaper and he always came there with his motorbike. We will come out just to see him .
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 I laugh aaaa take enter Agbogboloshie KVIP, this man has made my evening, great interview. One heck of workaholic midfielder during his playing days
Dan, first of all your content is very educative which cut across old footballers lovers and also creating awareness to the younger football fanatics. For the younger generation to articulate and contribute to your content. I will suggest, you do away with live streaming but rather record the interviews and later edit it properly. By fusing in old video clips and pictures of the interviewee (player). This will help communicate better to your audiences.
Ah how do you blame Ghanaians for your own criminality? How on earth did he think he’ll not be caught? Even if it wasn’t by a Ghanaian, someone else would have identified him. Ghana and Ivory Coast are neighbors so it’s easy to be identified. I don’t even understand this logic, if he naturalized then he was a citizen and could play there. For someone who played in their national team as a naturalized player why did he have to be afraid of being imprisoned? That part didn’t make sense. He also had other Ghanaians who didn’t naturalize but were also playing there so what made him naturalize? You should have asked that question.
Masa.....Kofi is telling the truth. I used to be their ball boy at BA United and i remember almost everything he said regarding the ivory Coast issue and the black stars one

This is my best interview, thanks very much Ntow Gyan, for your sincerity and DKY for the great job you are doing for mother Ghana
He got injured when Kotoko met Scom Mikishi of Zaire(Dr Congo) far away in Zaire. Ghana football is gone down, indeed. He was combative in midfield.
