Hi hi thank you for this! all super cool! I just have a question, I tried it out with a video and it worked fine in general, but the color matte layer seems to not be opaque (even at 100%), it has some kind of transparency to it so that once the rip ends it just harshly switches to the regular video. not sure why this is happening (or if it's happened to anyone else) :O
Hmm I've had a similar problem in the past but it dealt with other video files that have a "white" background, I couldn't figure out what was going on but when I updated my premiere it resolved it. It could just be a graphical glitch, but there is no reason for the color matte should effect any region that isn't covered by the rip. This is because it should have been had the track matte effect with the target as the rip obviously. One other thing that I read was this "Two things to try: Go to File > Project Settings > General and set the renderer to software only Go to Sequence > Sequence Settings and UNCHECK (if checked) Composite in Linear Color" - community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/color-matte-opacity-bug-with-latest-premiere-pro-update/m-p/9048356 Community poster was "Meg The Dog" It was a diffrent problem but it might just be an error in the software. Really hope this helps :(
