Just bought some BC’s for my E36. Decided to take out the cheap Ebay since I’m getting more serious with the build. Haven’t driven the car yet but excited to see how they feel. Great vid guys
An inverted damper is used for McPherson strut applications. Because the shock (strut) is a control arm and faces sideloads unlike in an SLA system. The benefit of it being inverted is rigidity. There's nowhere near as much stress on the actual shaft of the damper because of the external tubes taking the majority of the side loading. Heat has almost nothing to do with that. Cavitation of the fluid can happen from heat, but it's unlikely to be much different when moved up.
Just rebuilt my BR's for my Fiesta ST with a new damper after breaking my hex inside the top swapping out springs. So nice to not have to throw the whole thing away over a dumb accident.
Great way to explain and show what the Fitment Industries website has to offer, One of the best channels out their for the car community. Can’t wait for that Cosmis Giveaway. I bought my shirt the day you guys Promoted the video, Biggest Subscriber Alert 🚨
Thats awesome man! Glad to hear your excited for the giveaway! Don't forget we are going live on Instagram at 6:00PM CST to pick the winner for the wheels!
You know, I didn't know BC does the whole Peugeot thing, and apparently they're more affordable than lowering springs and dampers individually. Maybe I'll have to give these guys a shot after all. Gonna have to go local dealers tho, FI doesn't support obscure euro cars as expected.
I was trying to decide between the BC DS and the FA 500s. I heard a lot of good things about the FA 500s and i was so lose to clicking that "place order" button but the price was just a little over my budget. Heard about the BC DS series and how great they are too. I thought maybe they'd be the same price or higher than the FA 500s but was pleasantly surprised at the lower price. Decided to buy them from Fit Industries and now I'm just waiting......
Cool video but the explanations were not accurate. Inverted monotube designs are really focuses on a McPherson style strut because the strength of the additional tube is able to withstand the lateral forces of the upper control arm being interrogated with the strut without sacrificing fluid volume in the strut
Can u guys make a video on the best suspension for stance cars and a spring rate to ride hight chart. I want my car to ride an inch to an inch and a half off of the ground but i don’t know what spring rate is necessary for me not to scrape tooooo hard.
Cool vid can you do one about Megan racing coilovers if you haven’t I haven’t had the best luck with them but mine were pretty much blown from previous owner
I just purchased a used 2015 civic si from a dealership and it came with bc coil overs aswell as many other goodies on the car . How can I tell what model they are ??? This is my first car I’m a truck and motorcycle guy but I bought these fb6 so I can have a dependable daily .
Which model would I choose if I want a smooth ride on my citys rough roads while being able to have a nice aggressive stance but not frame banging low? Any suggestions thanks!
I have a 2005 2.5rs, I'm looking for coilovers and I wanna go with Tein. I wanna get the street basis ones without the dampening, however, for some reason my rear suspension is super super slow compared to my front, and it makes me rub like crazy. (My wheels stick out of the fenders) Should I just wait and get ones with dampening or will the ones without stiffen it up by themselves and be fine?
DS gives more feel. Haha. Non car guy trying to explain something he doesn't understand. DS series is a digressive valve shock. If you do any sort of performance driving you want digressive valves. These lower body roll and driving under braking. They increase cornering speed and braking distance.
i have a 2014 hyundai sonata se with stock suspension im looking to lower it just a little bit, to where there’s no wheel gap and i’m a daily driver but i don’t wanna go cheap on my car i don’t play that shit 🤣 i was just wondering if the bc racing coilovers would be okay to lower it a lil bit and a smooth ride for a daily driver like me
@@2greedy420 thanks for your input man, I was looking at the tein flex A And the Br series is within the same budget. So hopefully I get them on this year!😁
Shoot us an email at wheels@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you. I have a MS3 and I have been able to find some coils for my ride I know we have something for you!
Hey they have an option for a Lexus RX330... think about it... a Soccer Mom vehicle can be lowered by BC Racing... i could turn my moms van into a track ready vehicle thats also comfy

Bouncy and harsh.
BC’s are still cheap though. Barely an upgrade over cheap EBay
You should do a fitment guide to g35/37 and 350/370z

Stance or functional?
@@maxxas5067 functional, if you want stance, just subtract 20 off the offset and do camber lol

I’ve ordered V1-Va, for my Celica, it is my daily driver. I don’t track it. But will be driving mountain roads.
Had mine for 2 years definitely recommend but i upgraded to broadway static suspension valve at 80k 😈😈
Do a video on Fortune Autos please
Just added these to my 2018 mustang GT.. loving them
got br's on my legacy. Top notch good sir.
TALK ABOUT THE D2 RACING COILOVERS PLEASEEE👌
Br series with swift spring upgrade. Got them on my bmw e90 and I love them
Ian Collins good to hear!! Was looking to do that on my miata! Any complaints or anything you’d recommend/suggest?
Tate Carter I’d suggest getting your car corner balanced after installing the coils. I’m very happy I did that to mine. It rides like a dream
Ian Collins awesome!! Do you kinda daily/street drive your bmw? Or just mainly track stuff? If so how’s the ride on the street?
Tate Carter I daily drive my bmw. It’s not a track car, but I think if I wanted to bring it to the track it would do well.
Is swift springs and rear extenders necessary? I see those options but have no idea what difference they make
How much Gels has been on here he about to cause a Tsunami with all these WAAAAAAAAAVES

How bouts a video on Fifteen52? plz?!?!😁

What about KW V3 DDC coilovers with HREs?

We actually have something on the way for you guys very soon stay tuned!
You guys forgot the v1 series from bc
They’re seen to be the entry level???
We did not have that kit at the time of recording this, We did not forget about it tho!

Swift springs better then bc springs
How about V1? whats the difference between V1 and BR?

Can you guys mention all the prices of the different levels of coils when doing these videos
What about the bc v1?
Can you guys do a video on aircups?
We actually have something for you guys on the way!
Unsurprisingly there's nothing available for my W209 CLK. Apparently the aftermarket forgot it ever existed.

Yeah but Tein has one of a kind EDFC Active Pro

Looks like you need bags. You can't have a "nice agressive stance" and expect the car to drive smooth on dookie city roads

I’ve got BR on my dart and it isn’t a ball busting ride lol.
Talk about rs-r suspensions
Was planning on rallying my 2.5rs that’s also my daily. Do you think the ds would be a good option or would br do the job?
Looking to daily my z but go to the track once a month or so. Are br or ds coils the way to go?
You didn't give any price points on the levels...🤔
Great suggestion, We try to hit all the suggestions you guys have next time!
Hi! Is the V1 good for track?
Could you still use the DS series on a Dailey? I only ask because my current Dailey will most likely be my future project car.
You can! As long as you find the right specs, you can always ask us questions at shop@fitmentindustries.com -Edgar
so Tein or BC?
How do BC BR ride slammed are they kinda smooth?
Fairly smooth, However I would say that depends on the ride height you are at, I say this because I know that BC coils are meant to go pretty low!
Psssst hey you guys dont have the BRs for my car on your site, just saying
THANK YOU FOR READING THE COMMENTS!!!!!!!!!:D
🙏🏼❤️
This made picking out BC coilover easier now!!!!!
It so cold out my garage door froze shut. I just wanted to start the car.
Go bang on the garage door break up dat ice! 😂

Don't you mean 7 line up? You know... the V1.
I got a question from your website it only shows like 1 coil over does that mean like actually 1 coil over or 1 kit idk pls respond
Does it also include the rear also if it is a kit
Can I daily the ds

I had the BR series

TEIN is such a great brand however BC has such a great line of kits! Gotta go with TEIN but its a win win no matter what one you grab!
Couldn't give us some general price ranges???
Great suggestion we actually have some great ideas for future videos included price ranges and wheel weights.
is someone pointing a red laser pointer at the hosts forehead?
