It's unbelievable how wrong the juries had it, they were clearly the best of the night, speaking as an Alice stan.
I really want Alice to represent Spain, but if that doesn't happen, I'd be happy if Megara wins!!!
Era mi favorita de largo , pero la realidad es que ,en el escenario se evaporo todo lo que transmitía la versión de estudio .No se por qué, si fue que improviso demasiado o que no supo canalizar la emocion .A pesar de eso creo que fue la que más mejoro en la.final.respecto a .las semifinales . Espero que vuelva a intentarlo pronto . Un saludo
@@carlosenaf fijate que a mí, en general sí me transmitió, a excepción de alguna que otra desafinación en la semi, pero que mejoró muy bien en la final. Lo que me hubiera gustado en la segunda parte de la canción, hubiese sido un poco más de drama en la presentación, para que transmitiera mejor esa parte de la misma.
Y bueno, ella es muy talentosa y también me encantaría verla regresar a Benidorm, con la esperanza de que España reconozca su potencial, dándole sus votos.

Best whole package they have, amazing staging, best vocals by far and most live ones, while others had awful amount of autotune and backing tracks

This for me was the only one last night that had the FULL package, the song, the vocals, the aesthetic, the staging! This SHOULD have at least been in the top two in the first Semi Final!

(makes me wonder why we rarely see video game inspired music at Eurovision. Iceland in 2020/2021 was also doing something inspired by that as well!)

Before watching the semifinal, my favorites were Agoney, Alice Wonder and Fusa Nocta.... After watching the semifinal, I'm very clear that the only proposal that has shone (in fuxia 😂) and that would have a chance in Eurovision, has been Megara with her Arcadia!!
It has literally driven me crazy! ...and it's not my style of music at all! ... But I think they have eaten the rest of the candidacies with chips!!
I very much doubt that RTVE is going to allow a proposal like Megara's to go to Eurovision, and they are going to be wrong, because they must go!!

But, I absolutely know that Agoney will win (don't get me wrong, I like his voice, he's so talented!). Unfortunately, my country is not rock friendly. No matter what alternative singers do, people will always prefer pop and I can't deal with that 😭😭😭😭😭😭

100% agree. Even though my personal favourite is Agoney, I wanted Megara to win this semi-final. I know it’s quite unlikely but I would love them to represent Spain. I have a feeling that they might get a much better result than Agoney. It’s a top 10 material. The performance was epic and vocals on point. Very, very good.
I'm 100% with you. This was so far the best full package. It is a pitty that here in Spain other music styles are more rewarded than rock. I am sure that if this had been done in another country they would probably be top 1, but at least they showed that they are great artist and i am sure they will do very good in my country after Benidorm Fest. As always, your reviews are fantastic. You're such a lovely guy xx

They were the best. They have everything and they will polish the performance for Liverpool even more if they win. my favs since the start and they didnt dissapoint. Hopefully they can still win in the Final cause they deserve it.

And it nearly didn't qualify, Shane. It Nearly Didn't Qualify! I'm still reeling from the fact that this was Such a strong performance and only just scraped through to the final. I should be relieved but I'm still so on edge after watching those results. It was a NAIL-BITER.

Good for them, though! Generally one of my favourite songs from the start, so I'm thrilled they nailed the staging. It was a stand-out for me as well.

See, comparing the jury results for this and Agoney, and I wonder what I was watching compared to them. This is much more high impact and different, especially when looking at how it might sit in a competition like Eurovision for Spain. Yet the professional juries wouldn't have had it qualify. It's nuts.

Yep, this was my favourite of the night too. The staging was well thought out and the vocals were amazing too. The song has always been amongst my favourites too. So very happy it made it through, even though it was far closer than it should have been. Hoping they can get a bit more support in the final to push them towards a top 3 finish 😍

I am Spanish, and I agree. This was the song. Something different from what we have sent in the past. Nevertheless, we end up sending Flamenco that doesn't represent the whole Spain. As a Spanish, I feel a bit tired of Spain selling a stereotyped image of the country all the time. I would rather send something more neutral like this wonderful Electro-rock of Megara, something that we can feel all included, or a song with the folklore of a different region. This year, the song "eaea" won't do well.
As someone who was in the middle with this song before the competition this defo went up in my estimations after the live performance. They do however need to fix that ending in my opinion to make it end with a bang💥

Let's be honest. The level tonight was low. Only Megara managed to offer something complete both vocally and on the stage. And yet I didn't bet on them at the beginning!

@@alexritrut1432 Alice Wonder I loved the staging but vocally it's far from perfect. Agoney too, he has an excellent mastery of the high notes but in low voice it is not perfect and the staging is... interesting but not necessarily coherent?

It was really good but I think live the song lacked a bit of the strength of the studio version. Anyways seeing that they barely made it through I dont think they have a lot of chances on saturday
Glad they're in the final, but they should not have been the borderline qualifier. Unfortunately, this means Megara is unlikely to win the Eurovision ticket. It's going to be either Agoney or whoever wins semi final 2 (hopefully Blanca Paloma).
