Herizon is my favorite video game franchise. But I understand that it's not for everyone. But I don't mind these $10 upgrade remakes for a couple of big reasons. Number one is it gives new hires and opportunity to work on and understand how the companies work. So. The last of Us remake they just put a bunch of new people on with train them within the system so that the main team could go on and do other things. But then after this one's done they will know how to work and get implemented into the new stuff. I think it's kind of a cool way to train your staff and it doesn't cost much to get the game. Secondly, it gives people the opportunity to play a game that they may have slept on. That is a big part of PlayStation's plans moving forward. Last of Us in Horizon obviously have sold more than enough to warrant this even though a lot of people are not part of the online chatter or if we are, they're not fans. And thirdly, it gives an excuse to go back.
Another UA-camr spending its time hating on everything and trying to generate clicks on it? Best way to destroy the hobby we actually love: Gaming. Continuing this trend, developers and other talented people will not want to touch the gaming industry anymore and it seem there's actually no way to do anything right anymore....
@@ZmanShow which is fine. And maybe it doesn’t typically count for you. But I feel like this time more and more people tend to join a relentless path of criticism for anything. One of the more worst examples being influencers like asmogold etc. I have seen so many projects and jobs already ruined in the industry just because some people just mindlessly bash on things even before even having tried it. Often it feels like gamers continue loosing the connection to the work and things required to make what we all love. So seeing titles like this video and the critics it just seemed to fall into this category even if may just be a tiny bit compared to what others do. As a dev myself it’s just sad to see such things happen more and more. So don’t take this as a personal critic, it may just be a bit of behind the curtain talk :)
Totally get where you’re coming from. I definitely don’t want to hate on games for nothing. Especially if I’ve never tried them. I also want to keep it more about the corporate meddling since the developers usually have little to no impact on why a game does poorly
