Lyrics:
A million miles away
Your signal in the distance
To whom it may concern
I think I lost my way
Getting good at starting over
Every time that I return
I'm learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
I'm learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Where do I begin?
#FooFighters #Walk #Rock
When I went through my divorce after 17 years, I made a "starting over" playlist. This song was track #1. I've probably listened to it 1000 times and it always helped me keep my head up. I took the time to work on me, become a better person and start over a better person. Alas, just 4 years later, I'm getting married again in 5 days. Thanks FF. Best band ever!
Congrats Brodie fight for urself
Im so 😊
Why would you get married again? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results.
@@AK-47ISTHEWAY maybe he married someone else
@@JackLeeTheFirst Yeah I know I'm 100% positive he married someone else but I'm saying why would he get married again if his last marriage ended in divorce? His new wife is also probably going to end up divorcing him. If the divorce rate in America is 50% and nearly 80% of all divorces are filed by the female then why would he go through it again? He must like losing half of his possessions and paying alimony.
The way Dave Grohl sings 'I Never Wanna Die' gives me goosebumps
NEO@ heh I intruperted it as a death wish, as it as he/she know death is sudden, they fight scared even if it kills them
Same here Samuel

"Learning to walk again" after losing someone you've really loved...
What his leg? Not in a bad way jokingly LoL
True.

Gabriel and Taylor and Cindy and Kim and Liam and Christopher and Kyle and Nancy and Zoey... Jesus too.. How many more in God's name?
A million miles away
Your signal in the distance
To whom it may concern
I think I lost my way
Getting good at starting over
Every time that I return
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Where do I begin?
Do you remember the days?
We built these paper mountains
Then sat and watched them burn
I think I found my place
Can't you feel it growing stronger
Little conquerors
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Learning to talk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Now,
For the very first time
Don't you pay no mind
Set me free, again
To keep alive, a moment at a time
That's still inside, a whisper to a riot
The sacrifice, the knowing to survive
The first decline, another state of mind
I'm on my knees, I'm praying for a sign
Forever, whenever, I never wanna die
I never wanna die
I never wanna die
I'm on my knees, I never wanna die
I'm dancing on my grave
I'm running through the fire
Forever, whenever
I never wanna die
I never wanna leave
I'll never say goodbye
Forever, whenever
Forever, whenever
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Where do I begin?
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Thank you!

Thank you for this! ❤
Hey, everyone?
It's going to be okay. No matter how bad it is, everything will be okay.
Keen Thanks ig
the avatar isn't too reassuring
Keen what is happening though?!!!
thank you terrifying clown person
Thank u ☺️❤️
Best thing about this song is the fact that no matter who you are it can still make you wanna get back up when you fall.
For me most FF songs have that power. Is a calling to action. All my life, the pretender, monkey wrench, bridge burning, walk, my hero, etc. Are my shelter.
And the only bad thing is that this song ends.
Second best thing about this song is that Nemophila posted a cover this morning. (Which is why I'm here now🤘🏻😂)
Remind me of my bro when he was diagnosed with cancer 😢 "I never wanna die " hits hard😢
This song makes feel powerfull. That's important when I am depressed.
+Kyle Nielson and you are!!! i wish you the and punch your depression right in the face
Yeah in this moment actually I am full of stress and feel kind depressed, but this song makes me feel like I can do it!
You can do it! You got this!
Kyle Nielson same
greatest rock song ever.
Nobody brought me here, i just love Foo Fighters.

I went through the death of both my parents on a matter of 6 months, went through a major addiction problem now 6 years later clean and healed, I owe most of that to this band and this song, one of only 2 songs that can get me emotional thanks foo
sorry for your loss but congratulations for being clean! you got this
My best friend also Lost both parents in a Matter of 2 months , he is still bad , but i always try to keep him happy
Congrats keep your head up man life is beautiful be thankful you’re alive and healthy
This is a serious contender for the greatest Foo Fighter song of all time.
+Mark W (MarkofWesteros) This album rates up there with their 90's work. I was legit impressed that they could still produce this strong of an effort and Sonic Highways isn't far off.
it's a great song no doubt but everlong takes the crown of best FF song of all time
100% Best of You is the best in my opinion but I love Walk
A320 is the best foo figthers song ever, or exhausted.
Dave himself said A320 was his favorite song to write and produce.
top three goes pretender, walk, wheels
I got fired today. A joint and this song, let's go.
yeah men capitalism sucks but we fight
I love how this song is so positive and full of life and hope, without being some kind of party-bullshit. And you can really hear that this music definitely comes from the heart.
most Merengue and Salsa is party music with harrowing lyrics, people dance and party to whatever they wanna dance and party
this song makes me want to cry every time i listen to it. there's so much emotion.
itsmadimay same
If you play the drums you’ll know how hard this song is to play on beat and Taylor does it so flawlessly he was one of the best drummers of the genre
So happy this song was there for her when she needed it.

@@ella17734 🙂
This song makes me reflect on my time in the VA Hospital.
Hope they are rewarding memories ❤
I lost someone I loved a couple years ago and man he loved Foo Fighters and when I listen to this song it helps me heal thank you Foo Fighters❤
Sorry for your loss! Glad it helps you heal ❤
If any shonen protagonist is at the end of their rope against the big bad of their story, all one needs to do is blast this song. That big bad won't stand a chance!
Or if you're a wizard needing physical therapy from a hostile ice queen
Or that big bad just happens to be the Shonen protagonists best friend who needs to be saved from all the darkness he has
Sasuke is the best example of all that
this song has become so ironic since Dave broke his leg.
he said that at the gig i saw on sunday haha, living legend that dude
+Molly Cook Benjamin Burnley is stronger and more of a man TBH
It's why he says "I'm on my knees" ;)
That's... not what irony is. >:|
Cuke Jr. There are different types of irony. That is definitely irony.
I've heard this over 10 times but it was only now I realized how damn _awesome_ it really is. The soft start, turning into uptempo rock, and then the intense, very emotional bridge. The lyrics are great too
This song reminds me of my best friend who passed away two years ago. It still hurts not having him around, being his happy and lovely self, but idk, this song really helped me to go through it when I was missing him the most.
I can listen to this song now that I'm over my rough patch, and every time I do, it's so uplifting :)
Song always helps me with my depression
2:06 to 3:10 is the most godly moment in music.
Agreed god sir, and this will be played at my funeral.
could not agree more man
Agreed.
the passion in I never wanna die, you can just hear it!
This song is already so nostalgic to me. The semester/summer that this came out was one of the best of my life, and this album was the soundtrack to it. And then, seeing the Foo Fighters and Rise Against, my two favorite bands ever, live in Buffalo... This song represents perfect times for me. I love it so much. I hope this song brings you as much joy and nostalgia as it does me.
"What was the song at the end of Thor?" is how I got here. Good song
Anthony Gordon Mee too :v
Anthony Gordon You can hear it when Thor and Erik Selvig are on the bar too
+Anthony Gordon Darude-Sandstorm
Anthony Gordon didn't realize it was this song until now. I am a lousy Foo Fighters' fan

I'm always with tears in my eyes before the first minute. Lyrics and melody is so emotional. Thanks guys for being part of the soundtrack of my life since my teenage days, 17 years ago.
Just shared this with my son’s gf. She is recovering from prednisone poisoning due to medical maltreatment. Currently, learning to do so many things again.
Thank you David G. You have no idea how motivational and inspirational this is.
We'll miss you forever Taylor. Godspeed my friend.
This song inspires me. Whenever I want to just give up, I listen to this. Keep rockin guys!
This morning, I was driving to work and this song came on in my shuffle. It reminded me of a close friend who had been fighting cancer for the past few years, and was also a huge Foo Fighters fan. Several hours later, this evening I received the phone call that he finally passed away. I think this song represented how he felt, he was so young and he should have had a long life ahead of him. He fought so hard to keep going, he never wanted to die. This song will always remind me of my friend.
Awwww, I'm sorry for you, and you are so young. I know how it feels, I lost my dad in 2004, and I still think of him all the time. Hang in there and keep your head up. Your dad would want that for sure! And, I love the Foo Fighters!
I’ve tried to end my life 3 times. I found this song after the third time, an I just sobbed. I was sob/screaming over and over, “ I never wanna die. I never wanna die I’m on my knees I never wanna die. I never wanna leave. I’ll never say goodbye.” But, not out of devastation. I’ve had to start from rock bottom so many times and it’s absolutely exhausting l. But this song gave me hope; hope and courage to get up and try again like the song was written for me. If you’ve ever hit rock-bottom too, you know how hard how exhausting it is to try to get back up. How absolutely you feel how hopeless you might feel but this song gives me hope again and I hope it gives you the courage and strength you need to look up and start again too.

Great song, great band, great wrestler, great hall of fame moment. Just reeks of greatness
For about 5 years, ever since I was a little 7th grader (I'm in 11th now) Guns N' Roses has been my favorite band. Today marks the day that I've given that title to the Foo Fighters!
Hey man, can you tell me how life has treated you? You’re in your late twenties now i would assume considering how old your comment is, but I’m just starting out in life and I’m scared. If you have any advice to give me I would be most receptive. Hope you are well:)
This song has helped me a lot over the years and still does to this day. Love it to no end.
I can't walk in real life and this song is super emotional to me.
Taylor Hawkins was a BEAST of a drummer! I'm a lot older, but trying to keep up with this on drums is exhausting! He made it sound and look easy! RIP Taylor!
Love this song makes me cry every time but it's one of the most beautiful rock songs ever it helped me with the loss of my mum and dad to cancer 2015 and 2017 thanks foo fighters for being there
This song helps me get through some really hard times. It's hard to keep your chin up sometimes.
Not a big Foo Fighters fan, but damn they can make music, everyone going through something bad, walk again!
Forget Cutting onions just listen to this beautiful song and you will tear up
One more masterpiece to Foo Fighters.
After the most shitty year of my life, this song and "But Here We Are" helped me a lot to leave out of the fvcking depression and anxiety. Thanks for all FF you save my life ❤
i remember hearing this song so much on the radio when i was little, never found out what the song was until i heard it at my job yesterday and looked it up
I dont know why, but there's just something that makes a girl a million times more attractive when she listens to the Foo Fighters :)
I think its's because she know what good music is

This song has been important to me. Ever since my divorce in 2009, this song has kept me going for years. Thank you guys, for writing this track. I love you and bless ya guys.
Thank you Edge.

This, this song has gotten me through some serious rough times! ❤️
I've been keeping track of the days since I've become a widower with music. This song is pretty much been my day 4 onwards.
Learning to walk again after losing my father to drug addiction
R.I.P Taylor you were truly awesome
RIP Taylor Rock On🙏🏽❤️
One of their greatest. Love the bridge, the layering and build up really gets to me every time.
God this song bring me up when I'm down, you are the best Foo Fighters, literally you saved my life
Foo Fighters always makes me think of a cheerful version of the Goo Goo Dolls... P.S. Thor brought me here...
THOR Son of Odin Hi Thor! How is the God of Mischief doing?
The Foo Fighters brought me here !
I came to this song because my mom used to listen to this before she passed, yet it still hurts, after a few years since then
There’s songs that make sense and songs that really make sense this is of the ones that’s a timeless makes sense type of song
My iPod says I've listened to this song over 41K times. I'm not counting UA-cam Music and Google Music. How time flies.
Adoorooo essa musica
One of the best musicians of our generation, Mr. Dave Grohl.
this song helped me through a lot
This always makes me think of when I was sick with encephalitis, an inflammation of the brain... I had to learn to walk and talk again... It really is an accomplishment to be able to do these things again after having to try so hard... I really love this song... It reminds me how far I've come to stand here this day...
One of my favorite Foo Fighters songs ever!!! They can never top this (they can try though). I just love that message they send out in the song.
This is a very good song, but I think Something from Nothing has topped it. (:
Everlong is cool but this.. perfection.
My daughter broke her foot and I play (embarrass her with) this on the way to her physical therapy appointments bc she is literally "learning to walk again" 😂
Me as a dad fr 😂
You're an asshole for doing that to your own daughter
Good taste in music brought me here
The best song of FF, ever!
This son is very important for me, thank you Foo Fighters!
E aí Foo Fighters, como vocês estão?
Legal esta música de vocês!
Um abraço a todos os integrantes
I remember the first time holding this CD in a music store years ago back when it came out and I seen the song titled Walk on it. I thought it was a cover of the Pantera song 🤣
Walk on home boy
This reminds me of my husband...he gave up everything for us, so did I...but he took a chance at epic love, and it's pure fire!:)
I know what you mean! Is pure awesomeness!
Lay up in hospital now, unable to walk, this is so my song😀. I will get there in the end
Best song
I'm in school and I tried to listen to this song like a normal person, but like not even halfway through I was full on head banging and people were staring
Thank you Edge 🤘🤘
BEST BAND EVER
I was recently in a major car accident last month and now have disabilites but Im LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN BECAUSE I SURVIVED!!!
Goodbye Taylor.
Fact: The Foo Fighters sampled the intro of "She's So High" by Tal Bachman in this song.
The Foo Fighters have gotten me through tough times, especially with this song!! Looking forward to seeing them live in the near future🤘
Thanks Foo Fighters for your music and many years of good moments.
This, to me, is the theme for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Like AC/DC's Highway to Hell?
***** Actually its in the credits, in the bar scene as background with Erik
MattFreeze57 absolutely not, marvel is but a pawn in the foo fighters universe
Thanks adam Copeland
Thank you for knowing that
I can picture this playing at the end of every dramatic movie just before the credits.
foo fighters one of the best bands i heard
This song helps me get over…things. There’s so many things still to do in life..I really never want to die.
Adam "Edge" Copeland brought me here.

best song from foo fighters, maybe one of the only one i likes from them
+saintseiyaliveaction i thought this entire album was pretty meh, but this song is really really good, the vocals are incredible
