It definitely feels like R6 (and Ubisoft in general) is being run by business people, who make decisions based on spreadsheets and take minimal risks. Gameplay changes are very minimal and a lot of bugs are not being fixed, the obvious reason for this is that they are minimizing development costs across the board. But this approach typically results in slowly dying games since the playerbase slowly gets burnt out and starts leaving. This is not something that is easy to quantify in spreadsheets since a loyal player might have been having bad experiences for YEARS already before finally deciding to pull the plug and move on. It feels like we are living in an era where the big companies are trying to sell us games that are barely held together with duct tape, while indie companies are actually the ones pushing out more polished content, ironically.
Just got into this game with 2 friends after not playing since 2018. I’m surprised how good the game is (character reworks, buffs, nerfs and changes on maps). The changes are overall very smart. I experienced sometimes crashes in lobby and freezes/latency in games + smurfs but the game is still fun and playable. Not perfect, but surprisingly pretty good after almost 10 years. Good video btw 👍
Why does no one talk about how long the game takes to boot and how they ubisoft connect sucks
😂 5 min on an nvme and connection matchmaking failed every other queue. Pinned lol
its the "anti cheat" starting up

Well said.

New characters are very fun too without being overpowered (after some smart nerfs for some of them, making them good but not banned 24/7).
Thats true the balancing is arguably the best its been in a while and they just made some more changes recently.
Also thank you!
@@KaenKilledItWhat? Siege has some of the worst balancing ever.
good video. I just miss how seriously the game took itself. now its just bright and the ui and hud look awful.
Games fine. All the problems that have existed are the same problems that have existed since the beginning of the game
@ I’m talking about visuals not gameplay
Thank you! Yeah, its very hero shooter rn in terms of how the game is perceived and the metas have changed so much over time.
I hope that what is happening to Overwatch with Marvel Rivals, also happens to R6. We need an "R6 clone." R6 needs competition to strive.
I agree. Its looking like Ubisoft might go broke soon though lol
@@KaenKilledIt nah ubi is cooking with the y10 season
I hope so but for some reason this sentence feels sarcastic lol
Good soup. Good video.
Thank u
