Could you please go into a bit more detail about removing OPF, putting the downpipes on, benefits, burble/pop and bang maps, what to do about it when MOT eventually comes. Superb Tommy, love the down to earth, and honest nature. Mentioned on insta if you had done an LCI car yet, but they have only just unlocked the ECU, apparently. Good info on the exhaust, which is again, honest, and use of common sense. What part are you going to put back into the exhaust system, to get it sorted and tamed a tad ?. Great 1/4 mile time, virtually 992 Turbo S times. Are you using full launch control there, or just brake boosting. Pity you are so far away, otherwise i would be down tomorrow with the kettle and biccies M5Simon.
In the vid just brake boosting but times with 2.6, for noise i fitted the pre opf original system today. This allows same power as cats and opf are still gone but less noise as the resonator is back on the system. You are welcome to post biscuits haha
Hey Tommy how much boost you are running since I have same engine in X5M just not yet tunable due to DME LOCK and what fuel you are running in stage 2 Ethanol mix with 100 Octane or ?
I’m curious to know how the steering feels since I believe that the f90 is electric and the f10 is hydraulic. And do you still have the f10. I feel like it just disappeared after the engine build. Love the videos keep it up
Making videos takes quite abit of time for me & I have not had any major content for it. We raced it at a few events winning fastest bmw and around November set a 4.66 100-200 with it. I think I reached the cars potential and thats a big reason for now being on F90 platform. I have not noticed a lack of feel from the F90 and find feedback good through the steering.
What are the plans for the f90? Your f10 is the fastest in the UK but the f90 platform already has some really quick cars. Is being the fastest f90 in UK one of your goals ?
I have an F10 that is stage 2+, I like I'm at the limit for power and traction. I'm definitely wanting to upgrade to the F90 and get into the 9's (1/4 mile) so I'd like to see what your next upgrade would be. Meth? Thanks for the videos!

Can you map them so they don't make all the crackle/bang noises on gear change? I want mine as quiet as possible but still really fast

Can’t you just cut the OPFs out of the system and replace with some pipe? Or gutting them out better? (Wanting to keep noise to a minimum)
