I love the new fly Fisher channel, I have started up fly fishing, had never done it before and your content has really helped me become a good angler! Thanks for the amazing content!
Great video! I've been subscribed for a while now, thanks for the good content! I might be going to the Sault rapids later this year and was wondering if you know if I need any special permits to fish there besides my fishing license? I saw that the area is on a reserve.
very much so, however, we did do a niagara river show which will be out in a month or so. st mary's is great because you can walk and wade, wonderful place for switch or spey rods too!
Actually that was shot in the middle of October but the salmon and steelhead run right through both months and into December. We caught Atlantic Salmon there is November!
@@newflyfisher I would love to see the Atlantic Salmon video- they're a bucket-list fish for me, and I don't know I can afford one of the fly-in expeditions to chase them in remote Northeastern Canada.
Thank you for explaining the technical part of the fishing, eventhough I may never fish there it helps me here. Keep up the good work.
I have had the pleasure to fish with John. Just a fun guy to fish with.
Soo is always amazing! And John is the guy you can trust! He’s not gonna let you down :)

Are you on the American side of the river or Canadian side of the river? If you're on the Canadian side you need a passport...correct?
Paul you don't need a passport to come into Canada, but you need one to re-enter the USA. Hope this helps
