I know the run game wasn't overly effective-- but I was elated to see, and also impressed by the fact that Andy didnt abandon it. We stuck with it. Ground out some tough, important yards, killed some clock. Offense stayed mostly in phase.. Very encouraged by that.

What we found out in this game & we need to learn from it. Pacheco can catch and carry a load. MVS came through. C.Jones needs to get paid. We missed Sneed bad. Teams don't respect Cook in coverage. Stumbling McDuffie was getting beat bad in slot by Boyd before injury. Williams needs to thee Def Coverages. Mahomes is a beast. We need to address RT next year. Pass Blocking has to be on point or its over SB Tampa. Fortson may be an X factor. W.Gay is becoming a Stud. Saunders has grown up. Let's GO Chiefs!

The lack of a run game is an issue.

Who had more points scored? 🤷♂️ ....maybe I am misunderstanding...do you mean the success of the running game?....because all these folks that think the Chiefs need to run the ball more must not of followed Andy Reid's career....It is AndyBall! It is what he has done for years. Last year the Cheifs seemed to be able to run all over them & folks complained they "abandoned the run game" 🥴....well, this game we saw what would have happened if we continued to run the ball...it is obvious they planned to stop our run game this time around...Anarumo is a very good DC.
If the Chiefs Execute the plays, a short pass is better than a run, especially if the get yac....one reason they got Skyy...he is a converted RB...one reason we have McKinnon...cuz he is a great pass blocker & adept @ catching out of the backfield. It is highly doubtful that Andy will ever run the ball more than 35% of the time...40% at the most. It's his philosophy, his creation....it's AndyBall!🪓😉👍

No I dont. I do appreciate fear from a Chiefs fan prior to Mr. Patrick L Mahomes we were straight garbage for years. I think if anything Andy didnt get into his bag because of all the injuries. Just hope these guys get healthy and here we go SUPERBOWL!!!
Mahomes better win this next one or he would just be the LeBron of the NFL. The most talented and gifted thrower, not necessarily the best athlete, maybe a Steph Curry is a more accurate comparison but I chose LeBron since if he lose this one against the Eagles he would have a losing record (1-2) in the Super bowl like LeBron whose (4-6) in the Finals. I rather Mahomes lose to Burrow in the AFC championship game instead of losing another Super Bowl. At the end of the day, we rate them based on their finals record and we criticize LeBron and would have rather him only went to 4 finals appearance and win all 4 instead of him go to 10 and lose 6 of them.

That's interesting... People have been bringing up "legacy" a lot the last couple days for mahomes... Super bowls are HARD to get to, REALLY hard to win.. And a 1-2 record in the super bowl doesn't look great.. However, Peyton Manning was 1-2 for a little bit, then he finally won his 2nd one his last year in the league.. And hes still considered a top 3 QB of all time.. But it was important that he got that 2nd one to be 0.500 in SB records... However you slice it, 2-1 in SBs looks WAY better in the legacy conversation than 1-2 does. And the eagles are a fantastic team. Theyre gonna have something to say about this! Hopefully Andy Reid and spags can come up with masterful plans and Pat, Travis, Chris, Frank and the boys can execute it. Gonna be s great matchup.
I strongly disagree with that argument. Winning is clearly important, but the finals record isn't all that matters. It's how you do it.
It’s better to get to the SB and lose than never get there at all. This is a team sport. If they lose because of Mahomes it’s one thing but if they score 35 and still lose that doesn’t have as big of impact and not to mention they are still a young team building for the future and they have improved vastly in these last two months I think they can win against the eagles if they can limit the damage in the run game
Respectfully disagree. It’s not an individual sport, it’s a team sport and breaking NFL records will be what defines his legacy. Today, he’s a first ballot HOFer
