    To me, the real cabinet had a bit more presence and was a bit smoother. Of course the mic and placement has a lot to do with that.
    That being said, this is a great DI cabinetless rig.
    I bought the Mojo Attack and really like the sounds I'm getting.
    I plan on using it at gigs with only IEM monitoring and or a floor wedge. I paired it with a NUX Cerberus for effects. Very cool combination.

      That's great feedback Jose. I hope you continue to enjoy that combo. Sounds pretty powerful.

      How do you incorporate the Cerberus into your signal path?

  • @RobCmusic

    Is the DI output independent of the volume going to the cab?

    • @ThePedalGuy
      @ThePedalGuy  5 років тому

      Hi Rob. It's actually a Balanced XLR output jack (connect to your mixer or audio interface). You can see the signal flow on this PDF. bit.ly/2AYwdRM

    How does it compare to the vox mv50 clean? I really love the sound of the vox with my cab (1x12 4ohm 100w) but it breaks into mild distortion too soon to get the volume I need on stage. This has ALL the features I need in 1 pedal but does it have more clean headroom and does it sound as sweet and expressive as the vox?? thanks

      @ThePedalGuy  5 років тому

      Daniel Wilkins thanks for your questions. Not having given the mv50 a run through I can’t accurately answer the question. However I can say that you can reef the Brit channel of this amp and it offers plenty of headroom. Out of the two legacy floor amps this one is my favorite by far.

    Hi, does the line out or xlr output mute the speaker output? Are they affected by channel volume?

  • @VelhosNovos
    @VelhosNovos 5 років тому +1

    Great tone, but the main problem is that you cannot use delay/reverb after the xlr output. Am I correct?

    • @ThePedalGuy
      @ThePedalGuy  5 років тому

      Hi Velhos. Thanks for the feedback. There's never a solid "no" when it comes to signal routing. Can you do it? Sure. Should you do it? That's really up to you.
      However, that's why the FX loop is provided so that you can pop in your pedals into the signal chain and keep it clean. Here's a link to the signal path for more info.

      @@ThePedalGuy thanks! After posting the comments I noticed that It has a effect loop. Thats great! So I can run my effects pedals in loop and run the xlr output diretcly to FOH/ PA. My goal is direct, no amp or speaker cab guitar. Regards.

      @@VelhosNovos not a problem. Have fun!

    So if you go to FOH with the xlr or line out and cab sim on, you can also still use a cab and the cab sim on won't affect the speaker out ? ?
    I love this idea. I'm old and need something with just a cab and amp..
    Also, what about effects loop?"
    Would have liked to have heard the boost on the distortion channel. Will it do 80s metal ?

    • @ThePedalGuy
      @ThePedalGuy  5 років тому +1

      Hi There. Thanks for the questions. Yes, the Cab Simulator will only affect the XLR and Line Output. The Speaker output would be routed to a powered speaker. The FX loop works exactly like the ones found on amps.
      As for 80s metal, I would say the Mojo Attack would be a better solution as it's got a high gain amp. Check it out here ua-cam.com/video/gLihfI3HxNU/v-deo.html

      @@ThePedalGuy Hello. Don't have one yet, but I am strongly considering one over a Marshall 40 watt or 15 watt DSL for it's simplicity and ability to use with a cab and to record with, etc. Love the idea of a small pedal board amp with one and maybe a way and delay and maybe a couple other pedals just for fun and a cab or monitor of some type. Seems really easy to use and reliable. I assume it's all analogue or solid state and not digital modeling? I forgot to ask that earlier. I'm from the old plug into a tube amp and crank the volume to get tge sound and use your volume knob, but this would be much better.

    I have both purple wind and the heart attack my only suggestion would be if somebody wanted the floor amp get the heart attack version. The heart attack picks up where the purple wind leaves off.
