You should include the year, make and model of your car in the description. 2. I think the box is too big for your car. It seems to extend past the top of your windshield, and I am curious if your hatchback touches the box when opened. 3. When storing the box, the Thule Force rail attachment clamps can be removed and stored inside of the box, rather than being left sticking out the bottom.
I’ve never noticed any water getting in, the top of the shell goes over the edge of the bottom by like 1.5”. If water does get in the bottom section has ridges to keep whatever is in ther up off the main floor. Also the hooks that hold it onto the crossbars have gaps so any water will seep out eventually.

It’s a 2012 Impreza. The crosstrek and Impreza are pretty much identical. The current gen which is your 2017 is slightly different. It should fit fine though

Thanks for the feedback! It doesn’t touch in the back and I thought the clamps were difficult to remove, I will Try that next time thanks!

Do you get leaking problems or flapping problems when you go 70mph? Tia
No issues as 80 mph. In heavy rain you will get some water in the box, none of our stuff got wet becuase it has deep channels in the bottom area

Thanks! I believe it is their XL size and I don't think they make anything bigger, you should be good to go with the /large size.

Is it Crosstrek's raised rail on your impreza ?
They have identical side rails. The crossbars are off Amazon I have a review video of them too. They are universal.
