Don't sleep on your 4 star sub dps characters. This is the best time to max level them and make use of their true damage potential

wuwa four stars are genuinely sm fun and never a bad investment. just a couple days back i noticed my danjin was s6, so i built her and she's been so much fun to use. soloing bosses with her feels so rewarding and she's just such a smooth character to play. ty for the vid senpai

BUILD YOUR YANGYANG! I feel like I get ignored when I recommend players build her but she is one of the most versatile characters. Throw your Jiyan echos on her to easily clear the lower levels of tower, she's great as a sub DPS with little field time and if you are good at dodging throw the healing 3 star sword on her so you can have a healing set character that does good damage
currently building her for calcharo , which echo set should I use on her ?

WuWa 4* are built different man. Danjin is just a 5* character disguised as 4* and she's totally crazy with her damage.
I built both Danjin and Yangyang with the event, and man, they are really really good. I'm currently planning to make a comp with Yangyang and Jianxin in the same team and get through Overdrive Echoing Tower with them.
Danjin is so broken man😂. Yangyang’s playstyle is so unique and fluid. Her forte feels like virgil had a child in their universe and left because he didn’t want to pay child support😄. Good luck on your team building.

I tried running Yangyang/Jianxin with Jianxin as the main damage dealer and honestly it didn't turn out too great. Jianxin lacks a reliable way to deal damage outside of her liberation since you can't really afford to just throw her entire forte at a boss without dying/getting staggered out of it. I'd advise putting Jianxin as the moonlit in that team and Yangyang on the aero set surprisingly enough. ESPECIALLY if you have Yangyang S5, her ult is just going to hit like crazy with Jianxin's buff
@@naunau311 Yeah, that's my plan. Since Yangyang has quicker rotations than Jianxin and her liberation is more easier to fill and deals more damage with dupes (mine is S6), my idea is Yangyang as main DPS and Jianxin as sub DPS with moonlit. When Yangyang finish her rotation, I would change to Jianxin to fill her ult faster (150 energy cost it's a pain in the ass 💀).
Also, Yangyang damage output is more consistent than Jianxin's and I don't have a good weapon for the latter :'c
Respectfully, you need to build and max your Sub-DPS too. They make the difference between a 2 and 3 star clear.

Lingering tune set with 4crit/crit damage, 3atk%, 3 atk%, 1atk%, 1atk% all with duo crit sub stats sets your future main dps/sub dps too.
The differences with best in slot echos and lingering echo sets are like 10-20% lower depends on the weapons you use, and you can make up the differences with rotations and investment level of support characters you have.
5:57 Wouldn't 44111 Moonlit be better over 43311 with 2x Atk%? Unless the idea is to have 43311 with 1x Element and 1x Atk%. 44111 would help in the short term with your subdps C.Rate and can help you with having the better 1COST when you go to 43311 since you get 1 more option.
I think you’re on to something. This is what I can say about it. I usually run Yangyang with Quickswap calcharo so she gets more on-field time between calcharo’s death messenger to use her forte. With that particular team setup, I think it’s a good idea to run 43311 to maximise her damage especially if you have her S4 which increases her forte damage scaling by 95%. If you’re going with a hyper carry setup where you’re sub dps does not spend more time on the field, you can go with 44111 and it’s way easier to build. Thanks for bringing it up. I didn’t think of it initially.

Chixia’s my favorite 4*, in the game. Built her fully (lvl 90, 5* pistols from standard weapons banner, lvl 10 skills) and I use regularly in the ToA for single target levels. ;)
I benched Yinlin in Shorekeeper/Xiangli Yao team for Sanhua. Gameplay is so much smoother and overall better.
Same, yinlin on the team obviously means more dmg but sanhua is so much fun to use and has a quick rotation so I like to use her instead

I suggest that you should get one ER 3 cost then Double attk on the next 3 cost.
Both damage and Rotation efficiency will be present, It's how you execute will differ. This works for all those sub DPS you mentioned. Too bsd that the deep sky blazar set could only be a one time set since Kuro might be doing an experiment on that kind of 4* set.
Which I would probably argue is somewhat better than what they currently offer in podcast.

I don’t recommend energy regen for 4 star sub dps who have energy cost of 100 like the ones i mentioned in the video. A full rotation with an intro skill should give you your liberation. Having the where stars slumber event weapons makes it even better since it gives them energy after skill cast.
@@itssenpai626 Good point, Maybe because I do like rotations that straight up throws abilities before buffing the incoming Resonator.
That gives me room for a faster clear.
My moonlit set is 44111 using crit hit/crt dmg on the 4 cost and attack % on the 1 cost so it can be used on all my sub dps. It’s not the best set up but it saves resources from having to build 3 cost with each elemental type. Energy regen is a non issue for sub dps since the set gives you like 10% and you can always get energy regen in substat or weapon if you really need it that badly.

And their gameplay are also good. If only illusive realm chain resonance upgtade was a thing outside of realm. Like sanhua basic attack 5 enchance iirc.
oh no i should forget jiyan xD, jokes aside yes, i love how 4 stars can also go dps, love how they do the same with PGR, sure the SSR units have easier kits but doesnt mean SR units doesnt pack a punch with investment
I maxed my Taoqi dupes this patch going for Shorekeeper so after i finished fully building my Shorekeeper i used the event mats to fully build Taoqi & man, i don't regret that decision for one second. The 4 stars in this game feels SO GOOD. Haha.
I also maxed duped my Yangyang going for Shorekeeper so Yangyang will be the next four star i build.
Looking forward to the Yang Yang guide. Do you think the Sierra Gale set is a good alternative option for Yang Yang, or should I just focus on farming Moonlit Cloud for her?
And not a word about chixia, one of the best 4★ units in the game (:
Chixia is more suited as a main dps without much supportive utility. That’s why she wasn’t mentioned but she destroys everything when built correctly
@@itssenpai626 I thought video about which 4* characters are worth leveling during the event, and Chixia is definitely one of them. I have all 5*, including Changli c1, but still playing Chixia, just cause how versatile and fun to play she is.
In current co-op event I loved her even more, unlike playing on other DDs I can clearly see what happening on the battlefield and can react to any threats in time, plus her c6 buff works great in coop. ~2 minute run on all coop challenge bosses and all with Chixia, even damn Inferno Rider, then I just not randomly die unlike play other dd (:

Sanhua came in clutch for me finally getting my 30/30, I had to steal echos from zhezhi and sword from Rover though.
@@daesong1378 if you have astrites to spare, try to get camellya’s weapon. That way, you don’t have to steal it again😄
I just did Inferno 6 with Danjin/Sanhua/Taoqi. The 4stars in this game are beyond awesome. I wish there was some more content like high holograms on rotation so i could carry more people with my beefed up Taoqi, the last coop was so fun.

I started building Yangyang recently for no reason other than I find her incredibly hot lmao. Already built Sanhua and Taoqi as well.
I recently built my sanhua for my quick swap changli team no regret. Time to 10/10/10 skill after reset 😂.

For me it depends on the 4 status I thought Sanhua was hot so she was one of the first ones I built but I started leveling mortefi and yang yang recently
Spoiler alert you can just get these items from farming enemies in the overworld and aren’t really that necessary an event that provides weekly boss materials would of been allot more impactful

Hi can you do an updated guide for Jiyan in his rerun? I have 85 crit rate and 227 crit damage with R2 Autumntrace and C6 Mortefi with Moonlit cloud set and Shorekeeper but I only hit 7 to 8k on his liberation per hit. Liberation and forte circuit are at lvl 8 and he is lvl 90. Thank you
then maybe you should try to pull his weapon on his rerun, it will increase his damage by 30% compared to Autumntrace wich is a lot of damage and on Hyper carries like Jiyan it is worth it to max out his skills to 10
@@WhitbyWyrm90 aside from pulling his weapon of course because Camellya is coming and I am planning to pull for her and her weapon. I mean with my build I am thinking that if it is possible to improve my damage with the right rotations or If I am not doing something right or missing something. If not, I'll just invest on Camellya. Anyway I already have 30 stars on the TOA and 12 stars on overdrive.
@@yukiissnow3380 well, I Personally will skip her because I don't see her Value for my Account to be honest since we already have a good havoc Main dps with the MC. The standard 5* weapon would be good enough for her as well.
so I will go for Jiyan since I missed his first Banner and we don't have another Aero Main dps so far.
If I get him early maybe I will go for Camellya as well but not for her weapon for sure.
But maybe you should try the new 4* weapon on Jiyan then instead or go for the standard 5* Broad Blade with your standard banner pulls
If you really love jiyan pull for hus weapon it's a huge upgrade for him. But if you don't have any pulls then just save up.
Sure. I plan to make one very soon. Concerning Jiyan’s damage, Pulling his weapon is a big upgrade but if you are F2P I suggest you target Jinshi’s signature because crit rate is more valuable than crit damage per my experience with the game. Autumntrace is decent but the low base attack alone will hurt your damage. That’s why 5 star weapons are superior even if their passive is terrible for your main dps character

All my lvl 80+ have echoes built+talents leveled (but not rank 10 yet)
With C6 yangyang I get 145-150kdmg with jianxin outro with sanhua its 110k her main dmg comes from lib which really hits skill tree is only 6-8-8-8-6 Idk if I should upgrade her more danjin I use her with rover and sanhua Im building for camellya

I Play Encore, Sanhua, Shorekeeper in 1 Team since Sanhua buffs basic attack damage by 38% and most of Encores damage comes from her auto attacks

I think day 1 player already fully upgrade their sub dps character. Cause mine only missing yangyang yanwu taoqi and aalto. The rest is well build

In order to clear with 4 star, you have to play like a god.
That is NOT "carrying." That's I'm so good that i can still win with a weaker team.
@@alexfrank5331 you missed the point. The purpose of the video is to properly build your sub dps to do damage alongside your main dps to clear content faster and this event is the best time to do that
