S1 Ep18-Becky's Choice

- Becky finds herself in a real jam when Roseanne invites her boyfriend Chip and his parents over for an impromptu dinner party. Unbeknownst to Roseanne, Becky's plans for the evening include another man. To make matters worse, Chip's parents are yuppies to the max, so when they show up, the battle of the classes erupts. Becky uses this as an opportunity to sneak in some loving with her other boyfriend out behind the house. Roseanne spots what's going on and cuts it off abruptly. This doesn't sit well with Becky at all, and she and Roseanne almost come to blows.

i like this show.....they were easy going parents but discipline was strict
"We could have had hamburgers an hour ago. I hate this house!" Darlene is a big mood and I love it.
What Becky did that night was just straight despicable. Inviting Chips parents and then meet the real boyfriend outside in the backyard WHILE THEY'RE STILL THERE is example of why Becky was my least favorite member of the Connor Family.

Becky didn't invite Chip's parents, her mom did while grocery shopping, granted it was still a sucky thing that becky did by inviting johnny over while chip was still there
I’m less harsh on her now that I have my own kids but she drove me nuts when I was a kid. Her selfish ‘I’m soooo hot’ thing was very much like my sister.
They forget the best line here when becky says WHAT I DO WHIT MI LIFE ITS MY BUSINESS and roseanne replies IT IS MY BUSINESS WHEN YOU BRING HOME BOYS I WOULD CONSIDERD LIVING YOUR FATHER FOR jajajaja 🤣

This was a perfect form of parenting. Be easy-going but strict with parenting.

This show was SO GREAT and SO FUNNY at begining (and middle), but at the end it was just terrible. That´s simply my opinion.
That's fair. When it was good, it was great though.
THIS IS.... when Becky started failing. I low key feel bad for her. Especially after watching "The Conors" and finding out she had a drinking problem.
Which of course Dan blames Mark for her drinking problem.

Now I know whats happend. Rosseanne is the writer of the sitcom and she thinks that Becky and David matchs better together than Darlene and David, but in real life David and Darlene are a couple and Becky and Marc are a couple.
Yeah, she was so cute in this episode.

I like them all, but the early seasons were so much better...... later seasons got lame.. especially Jackie... she got so corny ~ my opinion~... my favorite is Dan , then Roseanne......plus darlene... Jackie *early years*... couldn't stand roseanne mom or becky~.... DAVID got on my nerves.. DJ,was cute at times in the early years.... He got annoying later years, mark... Cute as hell, ~.. but LOVE THIS SHOW... LOVE MICHAEL O'KEEFE ON this show...... but booker, George Clooney was it for Jackie... sweet... MY OPINION ~.....

The first Becky went off to college in real life.
Charlene Dozier I remember there was a rumor Lecy was creeped out by Tom Arnold. But yeah, the official explanation (and maybe really the true one) was college.
I wished they had Becky go off to college early instead of marrying at age 17. That wasn’t like Becky at all. The show was kind of nose-diving then though.

Chip’s folks were rich so they were trying to serve something that they thought they’d like.
I love the part of this episode when Becky comes into the kitchen and asks, "Are they here yet??", and Dan says to her, "Yes I believe Asquith has shown them into the study where they're sipping Absinthe and playing billiards".

The 2nd Becky sucked. Whoever casted her to be a Connor was on drugs at the moment. Thank God the 1st one came back. She seemed more the part of a blue collar mid west girl. The other girl was like NY or Cali. Totally wrong casting. I love Roseanne shows what life is really like.
