    Hey! I wondered how this process goes for putting together the “A team”. You meet with the client and figure out what they want, check the availability of your best matched vendors, then you present this to the client? I suppose what I’m wondering, is do you ask the vendors to save the date for your client? What if they get get another offer for the same date, during the process of the client making a decision?

      Hey DWS Events! When a vendor sends a proposal it should include everything that you have outlined is needed. So if it's a florist- when you reach out to them for a proposal/quote you should give them a list of everything you want to be included (1 bridal bouquet, 5 BM bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, 10 cocktail table arrangments, and on and on). When the proposal comes back you just want to make sure that everything you've outlined in included. The same goes for photo- how many hours do you need? How many shooters? Do your clients want an album? Figure out all of that before you reach out to your vendors so that you can just send them one email with "all the things" and then they can send you a proposal for "all the things" that includes a price quote. Does that make sense?

    Do you charge the vendors a commission or it's only the pay u get from the main client?
