    Thank you sooooo much for this tutorial. I've wanted to make a dear friend a long necklace and you told me how. I've only been beading for about 3 years and I'm still learning. I'll be back to watch more of your videos. Thanks again.

    It's truly beautiful, but I think a crimp cover would be a nice finishing touch. 💕

    Love your videos! Could you help me identify a bead?

  • @ShoryoTombo

    I like the idea of not using the wire guard. It scratches the skin. This is lovely piece and I happen to have same focal bead.

    • @donnacollette366
      @donnacollette366 6 років тому

      ShoryoTombo I disagree it makes it look like an amateur finish. If you do it right they don’t scratch not to mention no crimp cover.

    Why do you not use a crimping tool to close your crimps? I think that makes a more secure and much nicer look than just flatting the crimp bead.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  3 роки тому

      Hi Joyce, you can definitely use a crimping tool if you prefer. It’s been my experience and personal preference to simply use my chain nose pliers on parallel wires.

    Thanks for the beautiful tutorial. I have a question regarding the chain in minute 17:45. It's the copper gold color chain. What is the name of the chain. It is not listed in the the list above where you have mentioned all the supplies needed for making these awesome necklaces. I am looking forward to know the name of this chain. Thanks again for sharing

    For the back of the necklace do you use two pieces of beading wire? Also how would you finish the back of the necklace if you wanted to use chain?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  9 років тому +1

      There are a million different ways to finish a necklace like this. If you know how to crimp, that would be with wire. If using chain you can simply link it to any type of clasp you want, or, make it large enough to simply slide over your head.
