tank in RFD was in Berserk stance and did not use shield or shield wall. Guys, as a tank, you are allowed to use shield wall - you are allowed to use a shield. Come on, what is this meta.
Because the "meta" said "Warriors are top DPS", and so all warriors must tank without a shield, even though there's talents that make it _easier_ to maintain rage with a shield, plus an ability they get early on called "Shield Block". It makes it harder to heal them since they don't have that extra armor. Been playing a druid on the PVP server, and I've gone oom faster with a dual wielding or 2h "tank" than the shield users. Its one thing to not dive in and try to save a stranger when a situation is real bad. Its another when its just two neutral npcs in a town that the level 35 hunter could totally handle and they just watch someone die. You're not obligated, but come on.
There are so many places in WC prior to the oozes that are trickier to manage (the raptor social aggro range in the first cavern, the sleep-casting druids, the fearing dreadfangs, the notoriously hard-hitting Verdan), so a party clearing all those but wiping to the ooze part is a real feat. I would be curious to watch the whole run…
You know what they should give mages to make the game a bit more balanced? A way to take an enemy out of the combat for a while as the mage kills the first one. a way to control the crowd if you want. as a class fantasy maybe they can turn the other enemy into some sort of an animal, a rabbit maybe or a cat. just for a few seconds to buy you enough time to deal with the other enemy. This could have helped the mage in tanaris survive.
Honestly I think several of them are shockingly good considering they’ve never played classic. It’s an unforgiving game when you play hardcore, so of course their occasional slip ups end up here. One mistake, and we all get to see it in a montage of clips, back seat them, and laugh at their stupidity. No one is perfect, so where’s your clip? I wanna see how stupid you are/were.
4:40 healer not realizing she is the problem... Speaking as a healer myselve, keep your damne distance from these mob/ boss are your in a constant silence! And i keep my teammates dissease free at all times.
Healer is 100% at fault, no question about it. Did the task do some stupid stuff? Absolutely. However, the healer also did stylus stuff that actively prevented her from doing her job. The tank still did his job, albeit poorly. If the healer was positioned well, the tank would still be alive. If the tank did his job, it's possible he may still be alive - though it would rely on the dps doing their job and killing / interrupting the silence if able. The healer would still have been silenced because they were not in the right position. Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes. Only thing that matters is that you learn and correct it next time.
