i thought the texas o-line deserved more "blame" for the loss. they couldn't open up the run game and ewers took a beating the whole game. and RT williams absolutely got embarrassed on the sawyer TD play.

I agree with @beavis4playm - the O line deserves a lot of blame. They have underperformed considerable. They are big and talented but have bricks for feat. Quin should have been protected better - MUCH BETTER!!! On the other hand, Quin was not versatile and could never make a bad play into a better play. With that said, Manning should have started and Sark wanted to help Quin out to look better for the draft. I get it, but Sark made that call early on. The best QB was not the QB - Manning is a better QB bacause of all this Skill-Sets. Sark also made some stupid calls. Big O Line - go up the middle when you have a huge line. OSU has fast and quick players and going wide was stupid! Here's the order of the blame - Ewers, Sark, OLine. Manning should have been our QB to drive those defenses crazy. When you have someone like that, the Oline doesn't have to be that great. Again, Sark made some stupid calls!

i like a lot of what you're saying. i'm not that sure manning makes a big enough difference for texas to win. BUT, we'll get to see it all over again WITH manning and horns playing in columbus on Aug 30. the teams won't be the same; but i'll be cool seeing a playoff rematch.

@@beavis4play I think he would have made a big difference, but who knows. Have a versatile QB drives defences crazy. If gives the O line juice knowing that's not as much on them. I can't wait to see Manning next year. You always have to have luck on your side and if we have enough of it, we could win it all. Looks like we survived the portal - need to check that out a little deeper. Good remarks though for sure on your part!
