Hi..just a little tip from Switzerland.. you can safe money from your gas bill and energy when boiling eggs if you only use half a pan of water and put a lid on your pan.. works perfect
Don't leave us for long. We worry.😊 In our difficult times, your videos are like an island of peace. With love from Ukraine💙💛
It breaks my heart, what is happening to your country. I pray for your country every night. 🙏🏻
I pray for Ukraine morning, noon and night. Praying for peace to come soon.❤️🙏
Keep safe in the Ukrainian, love and prayers to you and all the Ukrainian people
My dear Ukrainian friend.
It makes me so sad to see what's happening in your country!
Praying for all Ukrainians and for your country. 🙏🏻💙💛
Let there be peace!
I was just praying for Ukraine, Sudan, Chad, Congo, and Haiti this morning. Please be safe and know the whole World is thinking & praying for you Beloved. May Jesus be a fence & shield all around you and everyone in Ukraine. God bless you! 🙏🏽✝️
My dear Lou, I started to follow you since last November. I can feel your anxiety from Canada. May I suggest you some tips ? (I'm suffering from anxiety too). Those tips may not work with you but you can try and see !
1- Writing goals. You can take a long term goal and create little steps to make the mountain smaller. I love to use the hiking exemple: You can't jump from the bottom to the top of a mountain right ? You have to start your adventure at the bottom and usually, you don't run as if your life depended on it. You pace yourself to keep the rhythm of your hiking. Life is the same thing. You can't anticipate every obstacles you will encounter but you can prepare your mind and be ready to find a strategy to avoid them.
2- Journaling. Writing a journal is always great to clear your mind and regulate your emotions most of the time. You try to make a list of the things you want and the things you need. Keep them updated in your journal to see your progress ! You'll see your priority first and it will be easier to organize your mind one thing at the time.
3- Meditation. You do not have to do like an hour but 5-10 minutes in the morning, maybe a 15-20 minutes before going to bed. You'll regulate your breathing to let your body liberate itself from tensions and feel better.
4- I know you're trying to stay positive. You can find maybe one or two positive sentences to repeat everyday. Your brain will assimilate it.
5- I'm encouraging you to read on a product : Rhodiola. It helps anxiety and stimulate your brain. However, don't jump on it as a miracle. It's a support and it may not suiting you. Read carefully to see if it will help especially with your health.
6- Find a passion or hobby like drawing, painting, play music, singing, dancing, creating stuff (knitting, crochet, art craft). Artistic hobbies can help to put the overwhelming feelings out of your body and stimulate your self-confidence and your brain.
Maybe you already tried those things, sorry if it's repetitive. Keep your mind clear and just do your best :) We are all with you. I'm wishing you the best my dear.
Very nice tips! Thanks!
So glad to hear that you’re feeling better. We MISSED you! God bless!
Thank you 😭💕 I miss everyone too! Take care ❤️
@@LouCslifewish so much I could send you some goodies. Can I get an address of some sort??? Please
I wash towels weekly (traveling in the UK). After all, I'm using them when I'm clean. No sense in creating more laundry than necessary.
Yes, this! I am clean when I dry off, so I hang my bath towel and use it several times before washing, however I do wash my kitchen towels each time I use them. For your anxiety, take deep breaths and repeat positive self affirmations to yourself. I use an essential oil called Skullcap to help me relax my mind. You should research it and see if it would help you.
Yes! Smart gal. 😊🙋🏻♀️🌷🇨🇦
I am going to have to try the condensed milk (in USA called evaporated milk) along with the mayo the next time I make egg salad. I think the condensed milk would add additional richness to the egg salad.
@@scook5599 in US evaporated & condensed (sweetened) milks are different products.
@@megvoss3329 Oh okay. Thank you!
With all the negativity and trash that is often seen on social media, it's wonderful to watch your videos and others like them. They're honestly a breath of fresh air. Thank you for sharing!! ❤
In the UK we wash towels when we need to - when we've nearly run out OR when we're doing a cottons wash. I don't know many people who wash every day as that would not be very ecologically sound. It would also be rather expensive! So pleased you're feeling better now. I had wondered where you had gone!!😊
I know a few families with 5-10 kids in USA who have to do wash daily or they can't keep caught up. I live alone in United States and do towels once a week. I wouldn't need to sooner than that or want to. Lol. It's less wear and tear on the washer and dryer doing it once a week.
@-greentoad I live in the US. We have 6 kids still living at home. We wash towels twice a week. We reuse the bath towels (drying off) 3 or 4 days.
Every household is run different.
My mother used to run a load of towels twice a day. I'm not having that kind of waste in my home.
I would only wash as required if it needed freshening up. I now live alone as all 5 children are adults and I am divorced. I tend to wash once per week and that is all hand towels, kitchen tea towels, face washer all together in one load, bedsheets and pillow cases in another and clothing and underwear in another, but that's per week. I can't imagine how a single person living alone would need to wash 4 towels daily! Please don't think I'm being critical because I am not but I couldn't use THAT amount of water daily!
I'm in uk to hunni to wash everyday would cost a small fortune now with fuel costs 😂😂
I'm always fascinated how thick toast in Japan is. 😮
Welcome Back!
I've never seen that trick to clean the oil 😮 brilliant! Glad you're feeling better and best of luck with your job search and unemployment benefits, hope you can start receiving it soon ❤️
I'm going to try that next time we fry something!
Guys be cautious reusing oil in which pork was cooked. It could make you sick. Better to just discard the oil.
Me either! I was like OMG! Look at that!
It's the healing power of God's Hands I'm glad that you are feeling better. You are a wonderful person, Who deserves the very best. Welcome back. We missed you.❤❤
Thank you so much 🥹❤️

Thank you! Fighting again 😅💪
So happy to see one of my favourite creators back! i love your content its beautifully made peaceful and caring and it helps so many people on here so thank you! you give so many the inspiration we need! peace and love.
Thank you for appreciating all my hard work 🥹 It means a lot to me ❤️
So good to see you back. You are an incredible, strong woman that can do everything. I watch you from Chicago in the USA. Remember you are never alone. All of your watchers love you and think of you often.
Lou, I just want you to know how much your videos inspire me! I also live alone and watching you navigate life gives me the courage to get out and do more things by myself. I used to wait until someone could go along with me, but you show me that I can have just as much fun alone! Thank you!!
Lou, I also have a lot of anxiety. Something that has helped me is the idea of "pace yourself." You should feel proud of whatever you accomplish in one day, remember to take breaks, as you aren't being lazy, but pacing yourself! Anxiety will never go away, but a different mindset always helps :)
So glad to see you're fine. Everything is gonna be alright!!
I change my towels when needed as i always have spares. When my wash basket fills up i have a basket for towels and bed sheets and one for our clothes, i only wash once a week to save electricity and water as it's so expensive here in the UK.
I'm so glad you finally posted! Glad you are back! Just a note, though: It's actually not safe to reuse cooking oil in which meats like chicken or pork were fried, because the juices from the meat seeps into the oil, and even if the oil is refrigerated, there's danger of salmonella poisoning.
I’m so glad you back and feeling better Lou,stay positive and take time in the day to close your eyes and clear your mind,I hope you realise how much you’ve loved,Chris
It’s true. I have been very worried. From the US
Lou it is lovely to see you again. So happy you are feeling better. Keep believing in yourself, you are an intelligent, kind and resourceful lady. Good things are ahead for you. Your apartment looks so nice. Love from Canada ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
I live in the US and most people here that I know of just wash their towels whenever they need to, it's not set when they need/have to be washed. It's just whenever they get dirty enough, or if they need to be used to clean something up.
I’m in the UK and for us, the towels we use daily are put in the laundry basket to be washed at the weekend. I also fluff my towels in the drier to make them softer. 😊
I’m so happy to know you are feeling better! I know sometimes moments and life can get difficult but you are correct-move forward and remember why you are there! You are strong and resilient! Much love to you🩷🫶🏻🙏🏻
Hi Lou! I am a thyroid cancer survivor (papillary thyroid carcinoma) and I just feel so connected with you! God Bless You from Canada!
Glad You are healed. About cooked eggs, just roll them a couple of time on the counter after craking, that will break the shell to fractures and You can peel them in almost one piece. ❤❤❤❤
Oh, thank you for the advice 😅
I do the same lol 😂😂😂
Here is our beautiful, brave Lou again! It is so good to see our inspiring young lady again in the big city of Tokyo! I am so excited to see where this next chapter takes you! Love you and please take good care of yourself! I know that you will find your way 😊😊😊
🩷 Hi lou C! Good to see you're adjusting in your new environment and everything is getting organized slowly at your new apartment. Yes, the city where you live is very pretty at night time. Hopefully soon you will be working at your new job and meeting new people and Friends.take care. Look forward to your next video.

My dear Lou! It's now quite a long time that I discovered your channel. And now it's time to send a few words to you.
Always I am watching your videos, I start to calm down and to relax. It really is a miracle for me what your vids change in me. Thank you soooo much, keep healthy and happy. Greetings from Austria! 🙂
Don't bother too much about the future. There's a saying ' what happened is a history, future is a mystery. NOW is a gift, that's why it's called present ' do what to do now. It makes u feel relaxed. Im 60 ,so i tell u through real life experience. Good luck dear
Hello Lou! It is lovely to see you back & my wife and I are sending you all our good wishes from Bassingbourn in Cambridgeshire UK, be strong my dear and your dreams will come to you!
In Canada, we wash our towels whenever there are enough dirty ones to create a full load, haha.
Run the egg under a thin drip of cold water in the sink while peeling it. It helps when it's still hot and the shell comes off very easy!
I have just started following you and I must say you have kept your home very clean and tidy 👍
Regarding Japanese sweets, the first one is probably called "Botamochi" or "Ohagi". Usually it is just glutinous rice wrapped in anko (red bean paste), but the kinako version is covered with even more kinako (soybean flour).
The leaves of "Sakura Mochi" are edible. They are pickled in salt to balance the sweet red bean paste.
Louis, good day! I'm so glad to see you..And that you feel better.💕I missed you very much...I sincerely wish you the best of healt💕
Рада бачити тебе❤ дякую тобі за щирість- й яке щастя, що ти як дехто на ютуб , не корчиш з себе ідеальну… ти справжня!
I really enjoy watching your videos. I like how you care of yourself. When I have been living alone, I ate out nearly every day and I wasn"t worried at all about my diet. I hope you enjoy your new city and appartment (it looks nice) 💚 Greetings and support from Spain ❤
The mayonnaise and condensed milk is so interesting! A tip put the hot egg under cold water while peeling it that way you won't burn your fingers! Glad you are feeling better. Never seen the oil hack either, interesting.
Lovely to see you back. By the way, I use one towel every day so that is 7 in a week. But I wash the towels one time in a week.
So glad to see this. You have been on my mind since you moved. Praying for you.
So nice to have you back and see you are adjusting well! A new chapter in your life was necessary in many aspects in your life. You will continue to succeed due to your "determination". Hint for hard boiled eggs: peel them under cool running water. The shell comes off easier and you won't burn your fingers ❤
Take care of yourself Lou! 😊
I was so worried when I didn't see any new posts from you!
I am so relieved to see you taking care of yourself in Tokyo.
Keep your spirits up!
And keep us with you!
Good luck on your new chapter and adventure of your life. Stay positive, breathe , and just be you. When looking for a job: be confident, make them feel like you will be an asset to their company. Good luck, you got this! Hugs from NY
Hi Lou, If you run cold water over your hard boiled eggs while still in the pan, they will be easier to peel and not burn your fingers.
Hi from the US, New York. You are so strong and brave in spirit. Thanks for sharing your day with us all. Bright Blessings and love to you.❤
Hello Lou C! Thanks for the tip on cleaning oil for reuse. I was like "WOW!" Have a great and safe day!❤
In face of adversity there is always opportunity !
Anxiety and depression is a gift ...it shows you the way , understand this snd you can breakthrough everything ...
Hello, Lou. I was just recently thinking about you and watching your videos. They help me sleep and distract me.
Nice to see you again.
Greetings from Ukraine.🌻
We value you as much as you value us :)
Glad you are feeling better! I don’t know if you just needed for your boiled eggs to be hot, but if I’m in a big hurry I put ice water in them (before peeling) until they cool enough to peel. Normally, when I’m not in a hurry I put them in cold water for about 15-20 minutes before peeling. 😊
I came here to tell her the same thing! 😊
Glad to see you back and happy to hear you are feeling better.
This is very specific, but I like there is a window in your genkan entry area. It's nice to have natural light coming in when you leave or enter your apartment.
Tickled pink to see you again, Lou C! So grateful you're feeling better now 💓 Thanks for showing us how to clean the frying oil - I had no idea that could be done, and it looks so easy! 😊 🙏
Hi Lou, It's nice to see you back again. Hope you're feeling better these days. Good luck with the unemployment and the job search. Stay positive, things will work out for you.
Lou!! I'm so happy to see you!
Me too Lou, agree with the writer's sentiments written below. You are so peaceful and your beautifully written comments you write, make me smile. Prayers are with you Dear Lou❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Joan 😊
In Japan everything is made with so much care & love. All the boxes with products are so heartwarming.
I'm so glad that you're feeling better! We've missed you.❤
I really hope that all your work and efforts will result in a new job. You deserve it!
Sending you lots of love from the Netherlands. ❤️ 🤗🇳🇱
you have beautiful photogenic hands , thank you for the vlog , tc and blessings
Hello Lou 😊 I live in Canada, I can't speak for the rest of the country but in my household we wash our towels after two uses and hang to dry in between. As for your anxiety, my Mother uses meditation to help with hers. She is 72 and still lives by herself and has anxiety about her health, but the meditation helps her alot. As for the future, you obviously are intelligent and diligent I feel confident that you will prosper in whatever you do
When I saw your grocery shopping segment, I wondered if you have seen the price of food and products go up in Japan? I live in the state of Georgia in the U.S. and groceries are so expensive right now!
I wash my towels weekly. Also when theyre almost dry from being on the clothesline, I'll then put in the dryer so they come out fluffy. Otherwise if towels are already dry, will put in dryer with a damp facecloth or wet the end of the towel. Comes out fluffy too.
Lou C❤ im so happy you left that job! It's not worth working for a place that won't allow you to have personal time off! Get your unemployment benefits that you paid and worked so hard for. I wish you the best of luck in your future job! Big hugs from Fresno, California ❤
Hi Lou, it's nice to see a new video...thanks for sharing. It's so funny that i had to share this with you. On Saturday evening i made wontons with my niece and nephew and for dinner i made cabbage with potatoe for 😊 i smile when you made your two dishes.
Anyway, i hope that you are successful in landing a job soon and that all works out. I must say i like when you took the night walk and show us around. It looks exciting. Keep good, take care and see you soon.
Thanks Lou! The video was so enjoyable. The recipes you prepared looked so delicious. Glad your new city is bringing you happy moments.
Hello my dearest sister, love your content very much 🤗✌🇿🇦🇿🇦small South African UA-camr 🙏
I am often like that, wanting things to happen quickly and causing myself to be anxious too. A friend said to me, SLOW DOWN and BE KIND TO YOURSELF. It was good advice for me and I hope you too…☺
I’m just getting started watching this video Lou, but I wanted to tell you how glad I am to see that you posted. I’ve been worried about you and hoping that things were going well. You’re such a dear and I enjoy watching your content immensely. Now I’ll watch the video… Sending all my prayers and love for healing for you.🙏🏻🙏🏻💛💛
Thank you so much for your concern 🥹💕, I’m doing good now🤗
A trick to get the shell off of the hard boiled egg is to hit the egg on the counter and roll it so that the shell will crack and make it easier to peel.
Somehow you make me very calm and relaxed watching you doing you routine. I think you are a wonderful person and I wish you all the best!
What I do is, when hard-boiled eggs are done, put them in a large bowl of cold water and cool them for 5 minutes. Add 3-4 ice cubes depending on how many eggs. Then peel them right in the cold water, and usually the shell comes off a lot easier and you don't burn your fingers. 💗💗💗
I'm 67 and have never seen the way you cleaned the used oil ,amazing haha😅❤from Scotland. I hope everything goes well with your form filling .
I'm happy you take such joy in cooking. It probably is a refuge for you. Everything always looks delicious!
So happy to see your videos and that you're feeling better ❤
We missed you,Lou. So glad you are back. God bless you always♥️
Missed you....glad you're feeling better! Praying your job search goes very well!
You have all these people that love you like family. I think a lot of you issues are caused by your thyroid problems. My husband had both thyroids removed and caused him lots of issues. He was on medication the rest of his life and it helped but had to be regulated often. We love you and pray for you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello sweet Lou, I am so glad to hear from you. I have worried about you since your last video. I'm glad you're feeling better than last week. I too am an anxious person, and if I wake up (which I do many times during the night) my mind starts to worry about all the things I have to do and what is happening to other family members. We just have to keep strong and keep going. When I watch my 6-year-old granddaughter she is addicted to your video's and always hopes you get the BIG carrot when you go food shopping. She is so funny, we bet on your shopping trip to see if you buy one. I hope you find a job soon. You live in such a beautiful city and I'm glad the language is easier for you. It must be hard to be away from you family, but I'm sure they give you a lot of support. Can't wait to see you again. I watch you on my TV, but I can't figure out how to respond on there, just to like so I come back to my computer to reply. Be waiting to hear from you again. Stay well and safe.
Welcome back! I'm glad you feel better ❤
Hi back, I’m glad you are feeling better. Don’t worry too much on things we don’t have any control. ❤ we are here for you.
I feel guilty cause I only wash my towel when I feel like it’s dirty enough to be washed and I just hang it everyday under the sun to dry after taking a bath huhuhu. Guess now I should wash it often too🥹🙈
So glad ur feeling better lou . Maybe sometime u will give us a wee tour of ur new apartment im sure is cosy and comfortable enjoy ur time living there and ps welcome back xx😊😊
Yeah! 🎉 so glad to see you. You have been missed! Hope all is well. ❤ So proud of you!!!
I have been MIA for a while. I have had some falls over summer and autumn, so I moved to my son's. I am hoping it will be temporary, but at 74 years old, you never know. I have missed you. I love your humility, and kindness. I am happy that you recovered!
Thanks!
Thank you 😭🙇♀️
In the tropic with so much sun I don't need to wash my bath towel often. I sun my towel everyday. I change the clothes that I worn out of house., even did that when I was travelling at Japan.
I love Japan n plan to visit again.. this time to more quiet area.
Ooooh welcome back. I have missed you 🙂
I am so happy for you Lou and I miss you video so much I hope you are good and happy ❤❤😊

Lovely to see you back. Missed your vlog. One day at a time. You are amazing! Believe it ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your life with us. Your videos bring me calmness and peace on stressful days!
My wife washes once a week, towels once a week and changes the sheets and washes them once a week. She says that's the way her mother, grandmother and great grandmother did it. We've been married almost 44 years so I doubt I could change her ways now.😊
Keep healthy LouC!!! ❤❤❤
Aww..thank you 💕🥹
Welcome back Lou! I missed watching your videos. I am really happy you are feeling better. 🥰❤
So happy to hear you are feeling better! I do wash my towels every time I use them, but only own two and keep them on hooks on the door since I have no storage for folded towels.
I have no tub or washing machine so all is hand washing. I have Fibromyalgia, High blood pressure, very low Iron absorption, sleep disorder and Hypothyroidism.
But I do what is possible bit by bit. On my own at 62. Tiny pension. 🙋🏻♀️🌷🇨🇦 Just me n kitty.😊Maybe God will see I get a machine one day. 😻 Be nice. $1110 is what I live on before rent or food or bills.
So great you are back!!! ❤🎉
Thank you 💕🤗
Finally, a new video! We love you!
You know if you move back home we will still watch you ❤❤❤❤
