my theory: To me it's her telling him to not to fall in love because everytime she changes to a new member he'll fall in love with her/personality , and eventually she has to leave him to go back to her own world.

I did not even think about time travel or time reversal or anything. I just thought of Teleportation.
The alien(s) had to leave the boy unharmed because he was so nice to all of them, showing un-conditional love to each, just trying to show the visitors a good time while they were on Earth but they still had to leave.
I really think it was five different people who are telepathic with each other so all of them knew what was going on with each other. They seemed to have different personalities from each other so I don't think it's THE SAME alien all the way through. They would teleport and swap places so one would always be where another had been standing.
They teleported away and took the suited fools with them, maybe to experiment on them (using the added power of whatever that little globe object was in order to take the extra people along). They left the boy un-harmed on Earth, where he belongs, although they are both still broken-hearted. It's still sad. REALLY well-done.

this mv in my opinion, when you just met someone you dont know.. they are "Alien" to you, their emotional,behavior,knowlegde was new to you. some how you need to learn from them or teach to them to complete each other. and the bad guys appear just like a 3rd person in real life...they disturb,hunt,kill and want you to far appart from your love. the ending, the "Alien" have to sacrifice herself to letgo all the trouble because she dont want you to get hurt. what a beautiful mv.
