To answer your question about Billy, he outright stated he was blind in Tatiana's flashback. Then due to Undead's regeneration, he regained the ability to see. Seems like he lies a lot so take what Tatiana said about Billy's ability name with a grain of salt.
To be fair Billy had almost no verbal reaction to suddenly having sight after years lol. I think the thing about Undead Unluck that a lot of shonen doesn't do is that they'll do most indication visually with relatively little speaking about it. Tougher to notice those things when your eyes are trained on the subtitle part of the screen, I.E. you can visually see Billy regaining his sight as color returns to his eyes. For instance, another series probably would have verbally pointed out that Top broke his arm after kicking Billy with Unstoppable so that it's more obvious what the stopping condition is, but Undead Unluck just lets you note that his arm breaks. I think the main issue is that since other shonens always point something out explicitly when its important, long time anime viewers think that if it it's not the focus of a scene it isn't worth remembering. I actually really like how much the series respects the viewers' intelligence.
I’m pretty sure he didn’t regain his sight at all. If he did, he doesn’t display any indication he did, he was a high functioning blind man to begin with so treatment doesn’t change much either way. In the first place, Andy’s regeneration probably doesn’t have that capability.
I don’t think he regained his sight, there’s no indication he did anyway, even if he did. Him being blind doesn’t change much regardless because even blind he’s functional to the degree where he’s no different from a regular person. And Andy’s regeneration likely isn’t capable of bringing sight back anyway.
@@oneesanamv1025 I’m a manga reader too, so I’m aware. There was never any indication either way. Again though it doesn’t change much since he functions as well as a person with vision as a blind man. And if you read the manga you should know that UnDead’s regeneration won’t work on something unless it would actually kill you, being blind would not be one of those things.
@@sherrinfordhope5744 That also depends on interpretation, if Billy think losing his sight can lead to death, then it'll heal it. Plus, in the anime it shows that his eye regain colors, indicating that it does heal his blindness.
Just a bit of info for Unstoppable, the shutoff condition equates to the user's definition of stopping. In a volume extra, apparently there was a time that a user ran for their entire life, since in their mind the stopping condition was death.
I’m pretty sure the extra doesn’t say that a user of UnStoppable met such a fate. It does say that with any other user than Top, due to his athletic background defining a drastic change in shape to be an injury in the level of a broken bone, would be something like dying instead.
actually, that's the TRIGGER. The actual way to stop it regards a drastic change in the user's body. Top's is relatively tame since it involves breaking a limb.
I saw a lot of people comparing Billy to Aizen because of the betrayal and I see why. But for me Billy's betrayal was much more impactful, not much because he had little screen time but it was still surprising, we saw more of his kindness and could become more attached Ainzen for me was kind of out of nowhere, it was like: "man, shocking.
