I love your channel! As a new business owner for cosmetics, I have been searching for a good channel that is simple enough to understand and get to the point while also being detailed where it matters. I can tell you do all of your research first 🙂

YOU ARE A GODSEND. I clicked on this video because I was hoping to find out good label sizes and this video was s much better!!! I didn't realize how much detail my label lacked. Subscribing!!!!!
Creating my formulations and making a thousand total quantity was the easy part. Figuring out how to label them, lol, not so much. I have 8 items per box and was wondering if I could just put an ingredient/directions card inside so I could label just the front.
Hi Charmeas thank you so much for this video it's very helpful. I'm in Canada and reading all that stuff online is very confusing so thank you for your help
New subscriber! Just discover your channel and I love how you explain things! Can you please make a video on how you convert your recipes from oz/g to percentages. Thank you 🙏🏽 💗
Wow! Thanks for all the information. What do I do if I can’t fit the ingredients on the product. Can I put a card with the ingredients in with the smaller items like lip gloss and small tins of creams? Thanks
Hi! Thank you so much for the informative video. I would to add rosehip oil to my products, but after some research, I realized it only has a shelf life of 4 months. So my questions is, if I add it, and even though the other ingredients in my product have a shelf life of 1 year, do I need to put on the label that shelf life is only 4 months since that's the life of the rosehip?
It is my understanding that you need to put the full make-up of the mica so the Brambleberry Raspberry Mica's inci name would be "Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide (CI 77491), Manganese Violet (CI 77742)" and I just took that off of their website. TKB Trading labels theirs the same.

Hi Charmeas, lovely video you have here. Thank you. My question is, I am looking to start natural skincare body butter and oil, do I need to go through FDA approval before I start? or do I just have to abide by the FDA guidelines?
I’m still a little confused about the address section ? What does it mean by if it’s online or print? I’d be using my actual home for my business address, so I’m not sure how that works. Thank you in advance✨
Hey Charmeas, I love all your videos! I found you the other day when I was looking for product photography tips and have since watched a bunch of your stuff. I am an independent massage therapist with interests in photography and making personal care items, so your channel is right up my alley. I have been thinking of selling soap/candles/etc in my practice and I have a question regarding taxes, which I thought you may have an answer for considering you have had both service and product based businesses and seem to be very business savvy! I assume I would be required to collect sales tax from the customer for products, but how would that effect my quarterly tax filing and being able to write off cost of supplies? Can all my financials co-mingle, or would it have to be two separate things under the same umbrella business name? Sorry for the boring question haha...
Hi Abby! Thank you for watching my videos! Admittedly, I am not great with tax information. I will be hiring help in January just to make sure I am doing it correctly.

What if I make my products at home? (Which I do,) do I have to put my home address??? Because I don't want to, is their something else I can do? Like add my website instead???? Please help me.
Hey! New subscriber here! 👋 This was an amazing video! I have a question pertaining to placing your address on your labels. How do you do this properly without revealing your home address especially when it's the manufacturing location? Thanks in advance 😊
Thank you so much. I have a question about the address. Does the address have to be registered with a business entity, I.e, LLC, in order to be considered a business address? Like if I don't have an LLC yet, and I decide to get a virtual address, can that address be used as my business address eventhough I have not registered it with an LLC yet.
Where can I find the names for the ingredients? Google is telling me to buy the inci dictionary. :( And I’m trying to find the inci name for these aluminum foils. Or would it just be called aluminum?
I usually have to google "coconut oil inci name" (or whatever the ingredient) and make sure the results all look the same haha. But I'm not quite sure for aluminum foil.
Hey! I haven't been able to find anything specifying whether the contents need to be displayed vertically or horizontally. I would just be sure that the contents appear "with prominence and conspicuousness so that it is likely to be read and understood (read with ease) by ordinary individuals under normal conditions of purchase. The letters must not be obscured by design, vignettes, background or crowding."
The shelf life of your whole product would be equal to the ingredient with the shortest shelf life thats in that product....so of you have several ingredients with a 12 month shelf life but one ingredient has a shelf life of 6 months then the shelf life of your product would be 6 months...hope I was able to help
Thank you for this extremely helpful video. Quick question, what if I'm starting out at home but dont want to put my home address on the label. Do you know how I would proceed with the address
Thank you so much for your super helpful video and all links that you provide !!!! I appreciate your time and your information, Charmeas. I have a question, i appreciate if you can help us, For selling bath bomb, do I need to register with FDA or do any test to get FDA approve before selling? I read the info in the website you provide but i am still very confused. I hope you can give me an answer since you are also selling bath bomb on your shop. My sister and I makes bath bomb for fun but want to sell some of it on local Flea market to get some money while going to college. Thank you very much
From my understanding, bath bombs are considered cosmetics by the FDA so they do have to follow the FDA regulations in the links I provided but do not need FDA approval before going to market with the exception of color additives. I do my own testing over several months with different skin types to be sure my products are safe. I'm no expert so if you'd like a definite answer, I would recommend getting in contact with them
Hellllp! I don't know why I can't find videos on how to print my barcodes once they are generated. They are not printing correctly with my Munbyn and the roll does not fit in my Phomemo! Do I need some special software? When I try printing from Windows where I saved them I can't adjust the actual barcode with the text that I added below. What am I doing wrong? I need to print 1.5" X 1.0" product barcode labels to stick to my products so they can be scanned. I am completely new to this. Please help me someone!🙁
