guy got scared off and run away because sinferna missclicked on her teammate and skulled LMFAO the angle was to perfect he couldn't see who she's "fighting" against
I know others have mentioned it but I'd really like to see everyone's name and character anonymized for future challenges. Or simply allowing them to pick their own temporary code names. In this round everyone was reluctant to attack Sin and Laine (I won't even conjecture why), and in the Veteran's round everyone just dogpiled the 4 people that were really good at PKing early on so they weren't given any semblance of a fair shot at winning. RNG will always be a huge factor in how these end up (and that's fine, it's part of the excitement!) but I'd rather see preconceived social attitudes or feelings towards specific individual players not play such a large role in how things play out. Just my two cents. PS: Loved Link's commentary!
I agree but I have a feeling that they'd figure it out anyway. Likely they didn't attack Sin and Laine for several reasons. But one is certainly that they underestimated them. Often in these challenges the team that doesn't seem much of a threat can sneak by because they aren't targeted. It's a legimitimate strategy.
Tbf Laine and Sin were attacked so much more than anyone else early on. Every step in their plan they ran into people ready to attack on sight until late game in the wilderness
you guys were definitely geared and had good food, would've liked to see you two enter the final battle. I mean the final message for the fog was worded a bit weird, but hurts to see you guys go down like that. That fog was some really gnarly damage
Bro the amount of video editing this must've taken. All the clips are stitched together so well, and so consistently. Fantastic job, bro! Thank you for sharing(:
Been waiting for this 🙌🏽. Thank you 🙏🏽 -edit- After watching it seems like quite a few of the contestants didn’t understand how/where the fog mechanic was being implemented. Not sure if there was a lack of communication or understanding, but it made the ending a little anti-climactic.
Ev mentioned they were offered to test out the fog mechanics ahead of time and almost no one did, and also look how many times the chat box is spammed saying you must be in a f2p area, and none of them were. Gg
Who knew sparing Sinferna in the beginning would result in a huge blow out in the end. 😂 Sucks I had to see 9Rain go down like that, would have loved his commentary during the end fight. But who doesn't love a good underdog story?
A stirling contribution to the OSRS community, thank you for your hard work putting it together and thank you to everyone who participated. This format is awesome, hope it continues for many years to come.
How do so many of these professional rs players not know where f2p is? Would be good if there were team names on screen, got a bit confusing sometimes when it was switching point of view a lot in fights.
re-thinking the question, if you're a professional runescape player, imagine the last time you ever played in f2p content. I think it's a genuine and understandable mistake. But those who died to it should definitely take fault for their mistakes.
wow i loved the slew of characters coming from different backgrounds, great event! Such a surprise on the winners but they totally deserved it! Kinda surprised people were caught off guard when they've all had a little practice.
This was amazing. Laine and Sinferna were amazing. The production was amazing. EVSCAPE and LINK’SOCARINA were amazing. The contestants were amazing. This was worth every second. Good job guys. If this doesn’t win the golden gnome, I can’t imagine what will!
56:28 LMAO 1:05:23 Sinferna with the smooth verbal assault 1:53:15 NO WAAAY AByss was panicking! He had gap and coulda glory teleported!! 2:01:01 LMAOO 2:13:50 the girls taking fashionscape selfies while the boys are all out warring lmao I've really come to appreciate this channel. its dope. The prizes are huge, the people are pleasant and have personality. Love seeing some girls in the mix so its not such a sausage fest. Overall a 10'er event
to condense this amount of content into such a span of time is a feat in and of itself, let alone organizing an event that far surpasses anything the game company itself has facilitated to date
Damn... the solos all wanted to let everyone fight instead of working together to take out the people still teamed. Such an entertaining video though and can’t wait for the vets
I agree it killed them too quickly but they had a clear 6 minutes notice to get into an F2P area of the Wildy, the other 7 participants managed it. There was no shortage of fighting in this vid either, let's be fair.
Crazy to see that even the pro players completely crack under pressure! Not reading that f2p message at all... And props for Elliot to go all in allthough he was solo. And congratz to the winner!! EV, thanks for the event, already hyped for next yeat :)
Don't get the dislikes, this man is arranging this tournament which must've took an insane amount of time to arrange, set up, complete and edit. Massive props to you, the average viewer truly appreciates the effort put into this, keep it up man
Odablock stans have been mass disliking his vids cause he said he wouldn’t want Oda in one of these. Even tho Oda says not too in the comments of his video addressing it 🤦♂️ not odas fault, just a bunch of sheeple and lemmings thinking they’re heroes when they’re actual losers
i'd totally watch a series of EV making cocktails, maybe even ones inspired by OSRS (the fruit blast, the blurberry special, the drunk dragon.) fuckin a. loved the video.
This was great. Bunch of interesting personalities. Everyone felt like the belonged and earned their spot. That's quite rare with such a large cast. Especially a cast of "rookies"
Spoiler alert in comments; Please don't read more if you've not seen the whole thing Laine's family coming in and them saying "She beat the boys!!" is just so wholesome. They're fully supporting her on what she's doing, and it honestly made me tear up. I were reluctant to watch the rookies cup as I didn't know most names here, but am I glad I did. Amazing creators, amazing personalities and 100% deserved winners, I also almost teared up by their reaction and how happy they were winning. I'm just a mess today LOL
Was a great watch! Fog kinda ruined the climax though. Probably would have been better to either clarify it better or have it deal 1 dmg constantly so players won't insta-die. The prize was kinda stolen from 9rain and poisoned
This was insane! GG’s all round. Such an entertaining watch. I’m so hyped for the veterans!! Big up Jake for putting this together, definitely took hours. Also what a beast bartender!!
I could not stop watching the whole 3 hours. I lead a hectic life and don’t play as much rs as I would like but this was sick to have on in the background to watch haha. Good job everyone and especially ev
I’m not sure what’s more amazing… the comedy in this video and the action we saw or the content creators supporting this video posting comments ! Shout out to solo mission and C engineer ! Onya jake !
Loved both royales. It'd be dope if you spread this out over 3 days with like 2 preliminary rounds mixed with the vets and rookies on the first two days. Then on the third day have the top 4 teams of each day, which would be the qualifying teams, battle it out

dino is completely right about the W. in some languages (swedish, french...) it is called "double V". in english it's called double U because you can actually write W with rounded edges, in some fonts or handwritings.
Future entry requirements for competitions.
1) Must be able to read.
But in serious, great competition
I should’ve thrown a master clue at them…
You definitely would have won

Amazing idea.

Everyone was attacked equally, Dino choosing not to attack them is hardly due to them being female.

Laine's family comin in is so wholesome
Dino has a point about the W
Kinda yes, because it's "double v", but just looks (well, not really, but sometimes, depending on the font) and sounds like "double u", LOL.
Stoner moment at its best!
@@6500s1 🤓 actually two u's, from Latin days where w was pronounced as a u 🤔🤓

So wholesome. Also thanks for not spoiling :)
Thanks for not spoiling. I misread your comment initially as "with him" and immediately scrolled back up. Pleasantly surprised.
@@BrentVis I worded it very intentionally
they played absolutely awesome, too, so well deserved! didnt have the greatest gear but did extremely well when deciding who to target
“We weren’t the first to die so we won” is true chad energy. This was great start to finish, props to everyone involved and gz to the winners
The range of characters was great to watch, stellar event EV.
@Fuck You I think most of the people that got killed north of the fence didn’t realize they needed to be in an F2P area
@Fuck You brother I haven't played f2p since about 2004. It was a silly way to go but it happens, haha.
