It's so cool to see a Historic Route 66 City at night with all the neon lights on, and one does feel like stepping back in time! 😍 It was remind me of the Fremont Experience in Las Vegas, except it's much quieter and less flashy.

Grew up here in the 60’s - 70’s. There wasn’t anything going on there. I have driven through when i am in AZ. Glad to see there is more happening there now

Sounds like you were pleasantly surprised by Williams, AK. It's definitely my favorite Route 66 stop, with Flagstaff a close second. Just outside of town are Bearizona and the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, which are both lots of fun.
