@@Ianisatool they showed a pic of her mom and her mom looks full Filipina but given the tan she probably has some black ancestry. People seem to forget that the original inhabitants of the Philippines were black (aeta tribe). They still exist and remain native to the land. Some Filipinas have more black blood then others, a tan is a indication for black blood In the Phillipines. This is why her kid with a black man came out looking more on the black side since she had some black blood in her lineage.

It's not judgment but the music industry promotes women not wearing any clothes and have such filthy lyrics and that is not what being a real woman is about but when you have NO SELF LOVE OR SELF RESPECT and you have promiscuous tendencies and walk around half naked to feel beautiful you think the way that you do. There's a difference between a thot and being a classy woman and it definitely needs to be realized. There is absolutely nothing wrong with acknowledging true class.

I agree, and I didn’t appreciate Joy’s last comment to her- encouraging her to stay humble. It just kinda felt more like a slighted micro-aggression (to remind HER that -even with all of the accolades and accomplishments- she shouldn’t forget her place) rather than a kind reminder to maintain humility.

I think one of the reasons that she wore shades when performing, on covers, in public... etc. was to shield her identity for a while to be able to live a normal life in society and to stay grounded and humbled.
