Hindutva: Origin, Evolution and Future studies Hindutva in both critical and holistic terms-an approach that is oft found missing in most studies on Hindutva, where a lot of critical knowledge has been left out either intentionally or out of ignorance. This omission has led to characterize Hindutva as a dangerous exclusivist majoritarian supremacist ideology. Hindutva is often studied like other extreme right-wing ideologies. However, the thesis presented in this book is built on the strong foundation that Hindutva is not an ideology but a historical-civilizational process. As such, it does not fit the expectations of any ideological framework.
This book is an answer to another fundamental question: Is Hindutva different from, and perhaps even opposed to, Hinduism? Swarajya's Contributing Editor Aravindan Neelakandan speaks about his latest book to Sharan Setty.

Reading, analysing, and reviewing this book will be my pleasure. I have read the book written by V D Savarkar. Moreover being a student of Ancient Indian Culture, I have a fair understanding of the use of Mythology and Dharmasastra.

Bharat Mata: This has evolved from mythology over a period of time. Our elders used popular mythology to educate people and spread the message of freedom. As Aravindan Neelakandan says, all these are different manifestations of the divine Mother Goddes.

Namaste. The Jaina, Ajivika, Buddha, and Charvaka, are traditionally known to be non-believers in the supremacy of Veda. You mentioned that Jaina is a believer in Veda. I am confused.
