Whats guitar is that one ?
Just as a thought would it be practical to suggest alternative chords to use if someone wanted to play rhythm style jamming?
How do you mean alternative chords? Like when it's Fm to then list Fm7, Fm11 as alternatives for example?
That's exactly it !! Now I'm getting the hang of basic modes I want to start understanding how to develop playing chords. So for example if I'm playing rhythm over a G7, C7, D7 what variations would work.
So when you suggest over a given chord people should try an altered scale, maybe you could suggest an altered chord?
I'm stumbling a bit here because I don't have much musical vocabulary but I'm talking about jams for rhythm players.
@@iainthompson6371 I get it!! Thanks. I can definitely try and add more alternative chord options to try out!!
Fantastic, I got the idea from a documentary about Bob Weir, Grateful Dead rhythm player who would switch it up under Jerry's lead to make the music even more interesting.
7th view! LOL That notification bell works! :)
haha!! Hope you're doing good maestro
@@QuistJam I am!! Do you have any good collaboration ideas for us?
@@GaragebandandBeyond I'll have a think!!! Swamped for the next couple of weeks, but am def up for it!
@@QuistJam I hear that! NAMM gear reviews start today on my channel. So whenever you're ready LMK!
Awesome bro! One thing I thought of is “how to make a backing track” -- people ask me that all the time (look no further than the comments on this video) and that could be an organic way of blending our channel audiences... I use logic, but maybe there’s an idea there
Do you give guitar lessons?
quistorama.com/skype-lessons :)
Do you have a video series for lead guitar lessons? $100 an hour is way out of my budget.
