This one is my favorite, all of it was just so clean, tone, pronounciation, flows, bars. I really liked the others but this one is just too clean on every aspects
Jurin is the group leader and can do it all. All bring different style. Jurin 21 Cocona 18 Maya 18 Harvey 20. Cocona is my bias and Maya has great rapping style. Harvey voice many didn't like at first but she grew on you and is very talented.

I could write a fn thesis on what you had to explain at the beginning of this in accordance with what’s happening in todays society & the offended by everything & anything ❄️ mentality that’s taken over. It’s definitely invaded XGs fandom. I myself only ever 💩 comments back to “very obvious” XG hating trolls.
I’m an old skool OG and grew up on Slick Rick, Eric B & Rakim, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, LL, NWA, KRS-One, etc., etc, and XG is the first group I’ve ever “stanned” in my life cuz they just different & dope as hell. But doing so also introduced me to the K-pop world of “idols” and K-pop/ K-pop adjacent toxicity. Even though XG ain’t K-pop, by default it pulls you into that realm K-pop realm. And it’s the most toxic cesspool I’ve ever come across in the music industry. Over time I’ve learned to just try to just focus on these 7 insanely talented bada$$es that are XG. Cuz they deserve our support 100%. But trust I also feel you 100% on having to explain how rap critiques work. You want skin in the rap game thats just how it is. It ain’t personal (most of the time haha)

It’s unfortunate what people will do to grasp validation. The impulsiveness to react on anything of which is not their own opinion shows a lack of confidence in themselves and their interests. In time, hopefully, those particular individuals will reach a pivotal point where they can overcome their insecurities and impulse to degrade/convince random strangers on the internet that their difference of opinions are wrong.

XG wants to be considered real rappers and not just kpop rappers or a gimmick and they still have room to grow in that realm as good as they are so constructive criticism is going to be necessary. Although C tuda O-C-O-N-A, be poppin' on them 808's still for me.. it's just that her tone (I guess the guy that mentioned there were two vocal tracks running) sorta blended into the beat instead of popped out like the other 3. In terms of impact though (to me), I'd say Maya, Harvey, Jurin, then Coco-chan.

I am a huge supporter of Cocona,but in the production they sid an overlay of the verses almost like they were an adlib. That gave a weird sort of reverb that muddy it up. That threw me off and lowered my appreciation of the overall track as well. I really wish they hadn't done that. Corona delivered but the post production fell short.

Yeah, I watched your other video but it didn't sound that critical of Cocona herself. If anything, it may have been the way it was mixed and possibly the way it interacted with the way your headphones equalizer settings or something--I only say the last part bc I didn't feel the thing you were talking about, with it being unclear and thought Cocona's was the best personally. But either way, I didn't even see it as criticism.
I think XG's fans can be more sensitive to criticism bc they're so used to seeing frankly unfair criticism from every side--k-pop fans who don't accept a Japanese group, westerners accusing them of cultural appropriation and shit, and even Japanese fans criticising them for not acting Japanese. Like I follow other kpop groups in addition to non-kpop music, but the kind of criticism they get is pretty unique and vile. That all mixes with these groups having individual fan bases for each fan, and especially because Cocona is the youngest, I think her fans tend to be the most protective---which I think is slightly patronizing to think she needs to be protected, but oh well. All that to say idk, man, it's annoying to be on the receiving end and you're not responsible for the other criticism they get, but I kinda get where it's coming from. But this is also why I'm just here to enjoy XG for their frankly good music and their real appreciation for hip hop and R&B
