This is my most favourite from Liz. I have yet to find anything from her that I did not love. The closest criticism I have is that I cannot wear Anubis in the hot summer of ours! I cannot wait for her next compositions which , as per her IG hints, will highlight lotus. 🤩 Loved your breakdown which I also find educational, Oz. Thank you very much.
Her a line is great indeed! I can see that with Anubis and high heat! Oh wow lotus is very interesting! I am studying the materials pink and white at the moment. I am using white lotus absolute in an upcoming release but it not the main player. I can’t wait to see her composition around that!
I’m head over heels for Anubis, only one I can’t stomach is tobacco rose ( some sort of mineral quality that turns my stomach). Have a sample of this coming in the mail, really looking forward to trying it. Good stuff Oz!
Anubis is amazing as well! I can’t wait to review that one too. I think I get what you mean for tobacco rose I get slightly metallic sharpness, am curious to see if I get a mineral feel next time I wear it I’ll keep that in mind...it’s fun to see how we experience scents in different ways!
I've finished my bottle of Salome (don't ask). One thing i do wish was that the top and heart would extend longer on my skin as that was the most beautiful portion of the scent. Its mostly the leather yeasty dark musk cumin drydown that manifest for most of the scent's lifespan. I do enjoy the drydown but the top and heart is the most stunning!
🤯 you finished a bottle! You making the rest of us look like just hoarders lol. I see what you mean, would be epic if those beautiful top and mid notes stayed forever :)
Great review! It's the third or fourth time when somebody says that Salome reminds them of Diaghilev in some kind of way. I love Diaghilev but I never smelled Salome, can you please explain a little bit what are the similar qualities between these two please. Diaghilev it's very expensive, and I love perfume but 1k for a bottle, I have my limits too, that is why I want to blind buy Salome, and I also love animalic fragrances, and this might pe a perfect match for me. Cheers!
Fantastic review! I'd love to try it, sounds great - very well described. I've tried Tobacco Rose from this house which was amazing and I was thinking whether to purchase it or not!
I've had this in my cart for awhile now , great to get your thoughts on it. I've a sample somewhere I'll fish out and follow along with your review. Hope all is well with you and yours. Take care 🙏
I remember Chris Rusak's 33 having hyraceum in it. A very nice vetiver scent. Haven't tried anything from the house, which is a shame, since I hear Liz is quite the luminary.

I wonder if the mineral quality is coming from the ambergris?

I love Tobacco Rose, Anubis and Bengale Rouge. Liz Moores definitely has a classy collection. She really is a great perfumeur for a small indie brand.
I concur!!
@@mroz9391 we've got 👍 taste

I love Salome, it's a top ten for me, but Masque Milano's Montecristo is an even better similar which means afa I have it I never get to wear Salome.
I meant to explore the Masque Milano line but so I only have L’Attesa. Will sample Montecristo. Thanks!
decided to clean up? another compliment on your parfume line. I am wearing at home...
