Honestly with how they price their street triple R, it's amazing how they cna be premium yet deliver value for money, the Japanese should take note that they still can make exciting things with a competitive price.
This bike should be named Street Triple 1200, it's completely differrent from the previous generations, it's no longer a Speed Triple, completely different character and it resembles much more the true definition of a Naked, wich is a Super Sport without fairings, and that's not what I want in a modern Naked. It used to be unique, but now it's closer to a GSX-S1000A or S1000R, what a shame. Looking at the numbers and the claimed characteristics, I'd rather ride a 515NJ. Of course I can only confirm that once I ride the new one.
Where in india cud u ride it.. my street triple hasn't seen more than 7k rpm in most conditions.. light or max max mid weight adv tourer is what one needs here
Doubt it. 1290 SDR is a torque street monster and should eat this for lunch if you have the balls to try. I am your huckleberry when you are ready though.
Throw a more relaxed riding position in to the mix with removable panniers, big tank and a full fairing and we have a new and awesome Sprint ST 1200!! Don't bother with the GT. The sprint was an awesome bike.
What a weapon - congratulations Triumph! This is clearly the most interesting bike on the 2021 market. An incredibly stark contrast to the dull, boring upgrade of the BMW S1000R.
I agree Luke. I have been holding on to my 17 S1000R hoping they brought out a worthy rival to the StreetFighter V4S, and by worthy rival I mean aesthetics, character and performance. It looks like a Honda crossed with an F900, seems to have no more character than my current bike (which is good but no rival for the SFV4S or Tuono) and is not SF or Tuono quick. The new Speed Triple seems to have the aesthetics and character edge, and I reckon it will be somewhere between the new s1000r and the SF in performance but without the roast testicle issue. I am looking forward to a long test ride on the new Speed
@@brianglendenning1632 Sold my 2017 S1000R, which was a fun bike. Never considered a 2021 S1000R, way too boring. The Triumph dealer didn't provide any information on Speed Triple availability, so I went ahead and bought a 2021 V4 Factory. What a beautiful machine! Delivery will be next week :-)

Great! I like it. A welcomed addition to the Super Naked group, looking forward to riding it. The only thing that is missing is the electronic suspension, at the very least give us the option to get it like the Tuono & S1000R. I don't think that this will dethrone the Tuono without it but on paper, it looks like it will come close.

It's going to have nearly 50% more BHP, and 50% more torque, and it's only around 12kg heavier on wet weights (Street Trip is 168Kg dry, this is 198Kg wet. So Street Trip. is about 186 Kg ish wet, assuming 18kg for fuel, coolant, and oil )

I love it, but think it needs louder retro colours. Like the canary yellow of my 18' 94R model, or back to the earlier years, with the burnt orange, pink, roulette green, Red, purple etc. Love the side view though, done well with the styling. That twin inlet to the exhaust makes it look meaner somehow. Looking forward to trying one.
I have been a Triumph fan boy for over 40 years. Now that all production has been moved abroad I will no longer be spending my hard earned cash on their products.
From all accounts it’s the best ICE Speed Triple to date. BUT, electric M/C’s are the future, & an electric one is the one I’m anxiously awaiting. 1 test ride will convince anyone of just how much better they are. No noise, vibration & virtually service-free. It’s simply about just you & the ride to enjoy.
Until the first curve, and the battery weight makes itself known. No noise or engine feedback sounds like a nightmare, talk about killing the man-machine connection.

I would love to rest ride one - not sure if I'd upgrade my '18 RS due to it being the right weight and size for me (I love my street triple), but just would like to try one out either way.
Triumph made the move to get in the new Street Fighter rules. It lost is charismatic look from is predecessor, but to attract new customers an please they old one that was asking more. The job is wonderful for my point of view. Yes, i miss already the twin round headlights. But look... we are in 2021. Can't wait to try this machine. As i know Triumph... it will be an awesome experience.... an something that no other brand offers there.... a 3 cylinder that make a ride unique.
30 Dislikes. How can you dislike it when its not out yet and been tried. Fanboys of other brands i guess. Whether its made in the UK or not, These engineers are certainly pushing boundary's and i am not complaining, Besides there's even a Spanish bloke that's part of the team. To me its now a Brand i like and they seem to have some of the best guys engineering these machines from any country. I just hope they keep on top of the quality of its parts, Cos not all of us have deep pockets.

Very nice and significant evolution, and like the styling. Some of the commentary on other channels has been around where the Speed RS will be manufactured - can you advise? It may quieter down some of the chatter.

Triumph needs to put this engine in the Triumph Tiger series. The Tiger line up is behind the times on sport touring. Tiger series motorcycles are very heavy and lack power. Triumph needs to take a lesson from KTM Super Duke GT, Ducati Multistrada S and BMW 1000XR. Put this engine in the out dated grandpa tiger, also make a supermoto version with a 17 inch front tire, and chain driven to bring down weight. Get the grandpa's out of the triumph motorcycle design department and get some younger men that think outside the box. Triumph Tiger series could be so much better! Let me design the Tiger, and put Triumph back where it belongs ON TOP, not getting a participation trophy for showing up. Go home grandpa's time to upgrade The Tiger!
Is there going to be a tigersport with normal sized wheels, instead of being left with what only can be described as a spanner in the works with ` tiger 850 sport .
It can be rest assured that the Triumph is a great bike. It remains to be seen whether the engine will hold. The 765 cc had enough problems. What annoys me most about all companies, however, is the question of "their own people" or dependent people how they find the product. The McDonalds employee will never say his burger tastes shitty

KTM 1290 SDR over this. That is what I am trading my STR 765 for.
Cannot wait to have a ride - the 765 Street Triple is a fantastic bike, so if this has power and that agility, then it’s going to be amazing.

Looks great save for 1: the overly high tank, and 2. the monstrous exhaust ...
Tank is tiny too...4.1 gallons or 15.5ltrs...it'll see a lot of fuel stops :-D
