I feel this so much, Jey. I remember starting T and feeling super robbed of my childhood because I was so miserable to enjoy anything back then. I think the easiest way to describe it all is just lonely. HRT is literally a life saver. You can tell you were sad and it's really awesome to see that you're genuinely happy. KiddPurrp You mean testosterone? There's a long list of different effects of taking it. I would suggest you go on google and search for a run down on the different methods of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) for female to male trans people. Generally, for ftm (female to male) trans people who decide to go through HRT, the hormones make your body much more masculine in all senses.

I totally understand how you feel about changing with transitioning. I've been on T for 2 years now and I'm still amazed at how much I've changed, at how much better this has been for my mental health and everything. And now I'm on my way to getting top surgery this summer and I still can't believe that I'm still here to be able to do this. I look back at pictures of myself from even just last year and I see a sad little kid who didn't like who he was and now I see someone who can actually be happy in their body, or at least is on their way. The happiness will keep coming, Jey, I promise.

You actually almost had me in tears. I'm so glad you posted this only because it does open people's eyes to see the change. My boyfriend is transgender, female to male, and he's unable to transition because of money and family. He's getting by with binding but barely, and i can tell it's upsetting for him and his confidence is struggling. Watching this video kind of helped me understand his struggle a bit more. And kind of understand what i need to do to help support him from my position, even if there isnt much i can do.
