Feeding the ducks at Rik's

Rik showed me how he feeds his ducks, mixing the grains with water to soften the feed a little. It also helps avoid loosing part of the grains when they eat, as this makes the feed sticky and stay on the plates, or in their mouths without falling on the ground. I will start using this technique for my chicken because they waste a lot of the food throwing some of it on the ground. Since I'm building compost on the ground, it does help the compost process, but I rather have them eat it all up.
