It does! Even the piano in the beginning resembles a Japanese graduation called, “Tabidachi no hini” (on the day of departure.) It gives off the same melancholic vibe.
I would agree with the best of this season/year, but Our blues is amazing as well. Depending on how Our blues will pan out, 2521 may be the best drama of the year. :)
Making a ost with all the cast was such a great decision. It's like different stories are being conveyed by the different voices and then when they sing together, it feels like at the end of every story, at the end of the day they are together. Listening to this songs gives you severe flashbacks of the beautiful scenes from the drama. How each of them met and at the end how each of them became memorable to each other, it's like the song is taking you on a journey of thier lives together. It's so beautiful 🌼🌼
I like the way they sing. It's not the beautiful and perfect style of a singer but it sounds like the characters are telling their story from these melodies. Sincerely and Genuinely.
This drama has less skinships like we only got two kissing scenes from the leads but it gives more butterflies than the others. I felt so attached with all the characters, they give me more realistic traits than I can relate so much. I love the friendships, the struggles of every characters, their pain and how they show their love.

Same!!! I have watched a few KDarams, I would not rewatch any of them, but this is a gem, a masterpiece to me. Everyday I think of how it would be if Na Hee do and Baek Yi-jin got to be with each other. I listen to these songs, they really touch my heart, even though I cannot understand what they are saying. NB: They got very beautiful frames at earlier episodes, such eye pleasing scenes.
Twenty Five Twenty One is a masterpiece; the actors, the plot, the lessons, the friendships, the love, and the heartwarming soundtracks so far has lead me to experience so many kinds of emotions. I feel deeply attached to this kdrama. When this ends I'm going to be left heartbroken once again. As there are 6 episodes remaining I will embrace the lingering time left.
Youth , highschool, graduation, .... I got reminded of all of the friends i lost and all of the friends i parted ways because of our different paths. I truly miss seeing them everyday.

It's the bitter sweetness of it all, and that no matter how much you love someone love itself sometimes it's not enough, but what matters in the end is the memories you created together. Twenty five twenty one will forever have a special place in my heart. Even though the ending wasn't necessarily happy, watching the drama had been a very good experience. It made me feel so many emotions and I'm really glad they created this masterpiece. This drama made me feel like I'm living a happy life through the casts and provided me with so much comfort and happiness. I'm really satisfied with the way it was, reflecting the fact that not all young love lasts forever and would recommend everyone to watch it.
I love the meaning of this song...even it's awkward at the beginning but at the end they finally being together to complete each others...This squad friendship definitely so beautiful. They are sharing each other concerns, talk about their family and others. Love this squad so much😭😭😍
A thing I finally realized after listening to this song is that they sing in the order they appeared in the show. We started with Na Hee Do (Taeri) who was running to see Ko Yurim (Bona) practice, then we get to meet Baek Yi-ji (Joo-hyuk) who is doing his job as a paper boy and meet Hee Do, they are also the first duo we get to see in the show and the first who sings, also representing how they were supporting eachother. Then when Hee Do transfers we get to hear and see Moon Ji Woong (Hyun Wook) for the first time and Ji Seung Wan (Joo Myung) right after, they are also shown as the second duo in their next scene together with how they stick and support eachother, also second duo to sing. Then Bona is singing alone last showing how she was alone in the beginning unlike the others, also the last person to fully join the group and get support from. Then all of them together singing that they are not alone anymore just representing how everyone is after meeting eachother is beautiful 💗
First time I watch this MV, I think Ji woong and Seung wan get happy ending as a couple. After seeing the Bona's last own part, I just realize, "Ahhhh.."
2521, HANDS DOWN!! I've seen a lot of kdramas along with ongoing ones, but the way this made me go crazy, can't be expressed in words. Even though it broke my heart, but the amount of comfort and happiness it gave me is just unimaginable. I've had the pleasure to watch this drama, and I'm gonna cherish it for a long time.

This drama is truly a rollercoaster ride, there's ups and downs, different emotion, different problem, different coping mechanism. This just shows how people are diverse in many ways, I relate the most to Ji Seungwan, I find life boring and we both quit school.
I started watching the drama 25 21 because of Nam joo hyuk and I am happy to support him in his first ost 💖 Now I can say that he is very good at acting and singing 😌💖

Just finished watching 2521, and i am here. This drama truly gives me the feeling of missed and reminiscent feeling during HS days. It screams YOUTHHH!! i don't know if it is just me, but I cried hard even though the scenes should be funny/happy, little did i know, i am missing my youth days (I am just 20 yrs old and some people might say that I am still a youth but I don't feel like I am one, especially in college). I realized that memories are very important, those will be our treasure when the time fades. I really missed my high school days, how I wish my friends and I still bond the same but we have our priorities now and that should I understand. To all youngsters/high schoolers who read this, one thing I can advise you is, "ENJOY YOUR YOUTH".

Really, one of the best K-Drama that I've watched. This reminds me of people, of memories, of youth. Love the amazing cinematography and how the actors portrayed their characters so well. The drama may not yet ended, but I miss them already. It may be sad or happy ending, I honestly enjoyed this K-Drama.

Same!!! I have watched a few KDarams, I would not rewatch any of them, but this is a gem, a masterpiece to me. Everyday I think of how it would be if Na Hee do and Baek Yi-jin got to be with each other. I listen to these songs, they really touch my heart, even though I cannot understand what they are saying.
NB: They got very beautiful frames at earlier episodes, such eye pleasing scenes.

I feel deeply attached to this kdrama. When this ends I'm going to be left heartbroken once again. As there are 6 episodes remaining I will embrace the lingering time left.

Twenty five twenty one is the first drama that truly realistically portrays what first love and growing up are really like in real life. It's the bitter sweetness of it all, and that no matter how much you love someone love itself sometimes it's not enough, but what matters in the end is the memories you created together. I think it couldn't have ended any better.

Twenty five twenty one will forever have a special place in my heart. Even though the ending wasn't necessarily happy, watching the drama had been a very good experience. It made me feel so many emotions and I'm really glad they created this masterpiece. This drama made me feel like I'm living a happy life through the casts and provided me with so much comfort and happiness. I'm really satisfied with the way it was, reflecting the fact that not all young love lasts forever and would recommend everyone to watch it.

I love the meaning of this song...even it's awkward at the beginning but at the end they finally being together to complete each others...This squad friendship definitely so beautiful. They are sharing each other concerns, talk about their family and others. Love this squad so much😭😭😍
A thing I finally realized after listening to this song is that they sing in the order they appeared in the show.
We started with Na Hee Do (Taeri) who was running to see Ko Yurim (Bona) practice, then we get to meet Baek Yi-ji (Joo-hyuk) who is doing his job as a paper boy and meet Hee Do, they are also the first duo we get to see in the show and the first who sings, also representing how they were supporting eachother.
Then when Hee Do transfers we get to hear and see Moon Ji Woong (Hyun Wook) for the first time and Ji Seung Wan (Joo Myung) right after, they are also shown as the second duo in their next scene together with how they stick and support eachother, also second duo to sing. Then Bona is singing alone last showing how she was alone in the beginning unlike the others, also the last person to fully join the group and get support from.
Then all of them together singing that they are not alone anymore just representing how everyone is after meeting eachother is beautiful 💗
First time I watch this MV, I think Ji woong and Seung wan get happy ending as a couple. After seeing the Bona's last own part, I just realize, "Ahhhh.."

2521, HANDS DOWN!! I've seen a lot of kdramas along with ongoing ones, but the way this made me go crazy, can't be expressed in words. Even though it broke my heart, but the amount of comfort and happiness it gave me is just unimaginable. I've had the pleasure to watch this drama, and I'm gonna cherish it for a long time.

Just finished watching 2521, and i am here. This drama truly gives me the feeling of missed and reminiscent feeling during HS days. It screams YOUTHHH!! i don't know if it is just me, but I cried hard even though the scenes should be funny/happy, little did i know, i am missing my youth days (I am just 20 yrs old and some people might say that I am still a youth but I don't feel like I am one, especially in college). I realized that memories are very important, those will be our treasure when the time fades. I really missed my high school days, how I wish my friends and I still bond the same but we have our priorities now and that should I understand. To all youngsters/high schoolers who read this, one thing I can advise you is, "ENJOY YOUR YOUTH".

Really, one of the best K-Drama that I've watched. This reminds me of people, of memories, of youth. Love the amazing cinematography and how the actors portrayed their characters so well. The drama may not yet ended, but I miss them already. It may be sad or happy ending, I honestly enjoyed this K-Drama.
