We hope we aren't! Nonetheless, thank you for such generous praise. We really are thrilled to be sharing our adventures with such an appreciative audience.
I am another who watches a lot of sailing channels, and a key ingredient for me is that the couple (and it invariably is a couple) are in harmony with themselves, with one another, and with their environment. You most definitely are. It makes my heart sing. Thank you.
I'm telling you to I don't belong here in I'm the states! Can't wait to leave the coast and I thank you both for the inspiration I love it! Thank you 🌬️💨⛵🤙🏼🤟🏼
YES; small craft sailing and Bush craft are symbiotic. Work that focus! I've made beer wine etc from whatever was at hand, but never in such an idyllic river setting with a beautiful woman; You Two Rock !! And I will never take my identical stainless bowl for granted again. It's like a silent Character in your Vids! Lol cheers Mates!!
Brilliant! I watch a number of sailing videos but yours are thoroughly unique. I enjoy your living off the land/water dialogue and the fact that you visit more out of the way places, as opposed to the normal caribbean / pacific islands tours. The videos of aboriginal rock painting was an extra bonus. It certainly is Free Range sailing.
I’ve grown the straw ,(and reaped it) rebuilt the stone walls and thatched the house....rebuilt lawnmower and car engine..yet! after all this, I feel totally inadequate after watching you guys!..genial..kudos..exemplaire .. 😊
HOW DID I miss this gem of a video??? When I binge watched you guys in the beginning, I thought I saw them all. Grinding your own grains, making Beer, Homemade coffee grinder....wow
I love u guys, U R probably more real in this genre than all others, and treat each other with beautiful respect, yes i know there are outtakes ! I also notice how knowledgeable about bushcraft, u seem to be, exercising prudent caution when necessary, but still living life to the absolute fullest! U R proof we dont need a million dollar yacht and fat bankroll to exist.
Thankyou for this comment. Our experiences together are building that respect and I guess that time-earned bond shows. Enjoy the vids and welcome to the crew.
That's a great little spot. I wish the US Navy had carried their grain instead of flower. There were so many bugs in it after a few months at sea. A single slice would have as many as 14 bugs per slice. I just ate it, that was all the bread we had. When I would get back to the states and get fresh bread and milk it was a treat. Also the beer was cold and fine as well. You two are having a great time and I really enjoy you video's
LOVE this Stuff! Pascale, you are a One-in-FIVE Million Girl, looked all my life for One like you. IS there anything you can't DO? Supraluminal. Troy, Thanks Much for bein' a MAN. I love the Bushcraft most of all.
For a while about 20 years ago I worked for a company that had a contract with Labatts Brewery in London, Ontario. Touring around the facilities, the scale of what they were doing there was pretty much a polar opposite from what you did on your fire. :) I came across your videos as a recommended and started watching them from the beginning the other day. I hope the Australian tourism folks pay you for your amazing work promoting the country. :)
Thanks Mike for the encouraging words. We hope you're entertained as well as see something new every now and then. Take care mate and yeah, give the tourism mob a call for us!
Sparging the wort!!! I make beer here in western Canada with Coopers Australian brew kits purchased thru Amazon.Great results and much savings compared to store bought. CHEERS from Canada!!!
Really enjoyed the video....Pascale has the beauty and brains to make a coffee grinder and Troy bends a stick. You guys are great, keep the videos coming.
What an excellent channel. I can't thank my mate enough for putting me onto it. Can't wait to get all caught up. What a job on that brew. Loved it. cheers.
well Troy all I can say on this one is you made the right decision about the Anchor "good call' better to leave it at the bottom in "crock country" than to risk making Pascal a lone sailor. You can always replace the Anchor, but you are Impossible to replace. Great job again guy's Kev
Love all of the off the the grid brewing! What you are calling bush coffee, in the U.S. we call it "Cowboy Coffee", if you sprinkle cold water in it, the grounds will drop to the bottom so you need not dodge the grounds. Thanks for your channel, I am learning a lot!!!
There is a Swiss Way you use some of the egg white from your eggs. It catches and holds the grinds together. www.eater.com/coffee-tea/2016/11/29/13769856/egg-coffee-scandinavian
I have found you two beautiful people to have the most amazing dynamic and positive peaceful way of living.cheers to you too.keep up the great filming.
I just clued into your channel the other day. I have to say, after binging thru many of the other more famous sailing vlogs I like your experiences the best. I think the Australia coast is by far more diverse and exciting than the south pacific. Way to go. From a very old salty offshore BC commercial hook and line salmon and tuna fisherman.
I love the bushcraft element. Ponassing salmon was one of the first 'bush' food techniques i ever learnt. If you ever get the chance in one of the Q&A sessions that you are doing now i would love to hear where you guys started with all the bushcraft techniques.
I've been interested in field craft since I was a little boy and often muck around experimenting with new ideas when we're out bush. They don't always work out but practicing them is a lot of fun.
Playing around outside as a kid is often where it starts....certainly where it started for me !. The environment here is of course completely different ie usually cool and wet so the skillset is completely different, which is why its great fun to see it being done somewhere so different. I always wondered whether i could combine my bushcraft and sailing, its never worked as well as for example doing it with a canoe or sea-kayak. Best wished to you both.
Wow, what an episode. I love the remote kimberlies. Takes me back to watching albie mangles as a kid and more recently Jas & Simon from All 4 Adventure. The ancient art work and untouched beauty of this place, I can't wait to get there. The mo is gold and pascal, what a catch. Good lookin, great personality and can brew beer in the remote wilderness. 😀
I had the same thing happen to me with a stainless steel bowl on my deck. Light at rag in it on fire even though it started off wet and there was still water in the bowl. But love your videos and no-nonsense. By far my favourite channel on UA-cam these days. Been watching from episode 1, working my way to the present.
We understood the principle of parabolic reflection but it still amazing to see it happen at random. We're happy you are watching them in sequence as our story evolves and that you found our channel. Happy New Year.
Lol- it was no mean feat. It was pretty potent but a bit uneven in the carbonation. I think the yeast got murdered by the heat and alcohol level- I know we did!
Wow! So much going on at this idyllic location. Loved every minute of it. Thank you for sharing your brewing, cooking, camp skills and sailing adventure with the world. Too bad about your anchor. Let the Sale & crocs have it. Looking forward to your next post.
I really enjoyed this neat video.....I see Troy as old-school, a Dundee-MacGyver kinda guy. It shows that with important knowledge, one can do well without modern conveniences. I wish the music would have stopped while Pascale was talking about the last part of making beer....I couldn't make out what she was saying....
George Kot that’s probably because our brains are fused the same way , I got my first boat when I was 12 and have pretty much boated every spare second I have , when I was a first year apprentice I got a loan for a new boat not a car
yes, would be a bit dicey diving in murky waters with crocs nearby... better safe than sorry. I wonder how the home brew turned out? Thinking of brewing beer on board as well using the brew-in-a-bag method with just one big pot and a keg.
Wow, just WOW guys! What an amazing experience you have had, memories you have created! Impressive indeed!! Can’t thank you enough for sharing your adventure....many thanks and cheers :)
Made my day seeing someone else enjoying making allgrain home crafted beer, I also make all grain beer in my opinion it’s the real deal and special when you make your own, what a good job with limited gear, well done .
shades of Malcolm Douglas, Benn Crop, Steve Irwin and Les Higgins with a sailing theme and prettier companion...Well done guys, I am following along with interest. A great way to see the Kimberley properly.
Fantástico, aprendendo a cozinhar para a sobrevivência. Lugares bonitos com suas histórias sobre as rochas. (Fantastic, learning how to cook for survival. Beautiful places with their stories about the rocks.)
Awesome vids! I love the endutainment mix. And your type of frugality seems to be just the kind Goodlander, Pardey, ... are teaching. Small boat, minimal expenses but quality gear and tools.
Yes Horst, we are trying to convey a common sense approach similar to those authors but with a bit more of the live off the land stuff thrown in as well.
Talk about excitement,i love how you fish for food make your bread, what happened to your beer will I find out in the next video? What awesome sights and adventure love it !
I have your videos on while I work(?) I have a Swanson 30 which I bought about a year ago. Unfortunately my wife is NOT a sailor whilst I have salt in my veins so I dont think I will be able to follow in your footsteps. I will be stuck sailing in Port Phillip Bay. Sadly the motor is only about 10hp and it appears the boat is under powered , but I am working on getting her to be a capable single handed vessel.
Well, please keep track of our passage (Facebook is more up to date) and when we sail down south we may be able to share a few beers. If you watch with your lady, just skip all the croc footage and she might come around!
Hi, you guys rock. Always learn a lot, I’m a professional sailor!. And hoping to go cruising soon (NE USA) with my 30’. Would like to know more about your pushpit . Keep on the excelente seamanship and cooking. Always looking forward to a new video. Fair winds and following seas
Free Range Sailing hi, I’m interest on the general arrangement. The seat, the solar panels arch. I think a video will be welcomed by everyone. Thanks for you fast response.
Cool video. It is a small world, I live in the US and my company does printing for Wyeast, the brand of yeast that you used to make the beer! Just started watching your vlogs - I hope you keep at it. Lots of fun.
FYI - I shared your video with the Wyeast people. They were really excited to see their product being used in the Outback. They shared it around at the company and thought it was really cool! Be safe out there.
Troy, maybe time to add a float and retrieve line to the anchor crown, When the chain gets wrapped, often lifting the anchor and retrieving in reverse order will un-jam it.
just found this sailing channel and their are one or too that have done it right ?? sailing james ect but you guys have something nice thanks keep it up xxxx
What an exciting episode. Bad luck about the anchor and lucky that you were aboard when the bow started to go down. The music was too loud though and drowned Pascale out at times. The best channel on UA-cam!
Great video, guys! I can't believe you use Wyeast yeast, which is made an hour east of where I live. There are several stores near me that sell it, but I didn't know it was available in Australia!
I am so impressed by you guys being so self sufficient! Not a lot of people know these things. What kind of coffee grinder are you using? I have bought 2 different kinds, that I had to return, because they broke. Sorry about your anchor!!
Great vid guys. Prob the best part of Ozz up there. Im thinking that would be the first and only beer ever made there. Those Jacks i have found are best in the coals guts a scales keeps the moisture in.
We do like traditional style cooking and you are spot on- it does make for a juicy meal. Our initial cooking attempts got sand in the food but we soon worked out that a thick bed of coals keeps food sand free. That beer was a lot of fun to muck around with and tasted great.
The only thing that makes the gorgeous scenery even prettier is the fact that Pascal is wandering around in it. She's a very sweet soul Troy.
When a man shears off his magnificent mustache, a fouled anchor chain is his just desserts!
I'm watching your videos for the third time now hahahahaha. Never gets old. Love you guys. Little Constance will love watching these when she's older.
I believe you two could quite possibly be the most interesting couple in the world. Marvelous, you guys are amazing.

I watch a lot of sailing channels. This video is the next level!
Thanks, hope you stay with us for the journey.

We would prefer you to feel inspired but thank you for the kind words.
I am Re-watching the Good Stuff!!! THANKS again for Sharing your Beautiful Home
A Girl that make's beer .. I'm in love again !! CHEER"S
lol the dry humor about the coffee grinder.
When we get to Magnetic island, we can catch up for a coffee. You can sort the grinder.
Bummer about the anchor/chain loss. Pascale can cast and hot dip a new anchor.........?
HOW DID I miss this gem of a video??? When I binge watched you guys in the beginning, I thought I saw them all. Grinding your own grains, making Beer, Homemade coffee grinder....wow
It was a magic spot.
You guys are truly one of a kind...

Great, fantastic. Better than National Geographic
Makes me want to relocate to Australia...then I remember the snakes, crocs and venomous insects.
Your videos are awesome!
I just love the rugged remoteness of this video..Troy is a wealth of knowledge !!
Good country. Very beautiful.
What a great idea. I have not seen anyone on sailing channels mill their own grain. Makes so much sense!
That place looks absolutely beautiful
Really enjoyed the video....Pascale has the beauty and brains to make a coffee grinder and Troy bends a stick. You guys are great, keep the videos coming.
Thats just skimming the surface of her talents. Enjoy!
What fun explore inng.. thanks for bringing me a long
You certainly know how to make a person jealous!! How blessed you both are to live in such a beautiful place....and be blessed with each other!!
Beer from scratch in the wilderness, I am impressed. It's hard enough to do this at home.
What an excellent channel. I can't thank my mate enough for putting me onto it. Can't wait to get all caught up. What a job on that brew. Loved it. cheers.
You guys are awesome as are your vids, love the laid back long format too thanks heaps for sharing guys.
"They lose their sense of humor".....beautiful.... love to meet you guys one day.
Again, you both look like naturalist! Excellent. you have got my wife and I hooked.
Making a beer? U guys are awesome!

www.eater.com/coffee-tea/2016/11/29/13769856/egg-coffee-scandinavian
Uh ,good advice although for constipation getting some grinds is good for ya
Better watch out. You show all the signs of a UA-cam powerhouse. Love it.
These are great Vlogs.
Thanks
Love these videos you guys are an inspiration.
thank you for the kind words. Please enjoy
I have found you two beautiful people to have the most amazing dynamic and positive peaceful way of living.cheers to you too.keep up the great filming.
Thanks Mike, very kind of you. Hope you will join us in the new year.
You guys ! That’s better than National Geographic. What about the beer can’t end without a beer 😜
"We are going to eat pancakes to celebrate I didn't die" You guys are precious to me and many others. Live well.
Dude, I'm hooked! Loved this vid....making beer and campfire coffee....sign me up!!!
Going through all your episodes guys. Great stuff. Between the 2 of you, you have everything covered.
Thanks Michael. There's a bit to get through now; hope you enjoy them all.
Can't stop watching this adventure. Would love to meet you guys some day. Excellent, educational videos.
Wow you two are amazing👍
Nice to see you're enjoying the Kimberley adventures. Incredible experience.

Careful watching those old Alby Mangels vids, look at the life choices they can lead too!
Kimberleys = must see.
Pascale = 5 star.

I thought I had a great Mrs she breeze beer but not out in the bush yet good stuff🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺👩🤠👍
Lol- it was no mean feat. It was pretty potent but a bit uneven in the carbonation. I think the yeast got murdered by the heat and alcohol level- I know we did!
Again another awesome VLOG you guys rock.
And Troy, you are one lucky guy.
Nice channel! I like looking nature, explore and loosen up...
Wow! So much going on at this idyllic location. Loved every minute of it. Thank you for sharing your brewing, cooking, camp skills and sailing adventure with the world. Too bad about your anchor. Let the Sale & crocs have it. Looking forward to your next post.

Thankyou for the feedback Ed. We are still new to this and are self taught. Bare with us- the vids will get a bit more polished.
thanks again for be blessed I'd love to sail in your trail 🌬️💨⛵🤙🏻22:35. Same principal with the bottom of a highly-polished popcan bottom
WOW! No wonder Australia is called the lucky country.
Whoa! Fantastic! Interesting, informative and fun...I hope there are many more to come...
This is totally brilliant, what a fantastic experience you have both enjoyed, thank you for your amazing videos cheers 🍻 Peter
Never a dull moment with you two!
That was amazing I did not want that to stop ,thanks very much for that stunning video
Richard Kaye I always read the comments to see which one I can relate to the most in order to give it a "thumbs up" , yours was 100% spot on !!!
George Kot that’s probably because our brains are fused the same way , I got my first boat when I was 12 and have pretty much boated every spare second I have , when I was a first year apprentice I got a loan for a new boat not a car
Thanks for another great video, guys! Can’t stop binge watching them... Too bad to loose an anchor though...
Thanks and yeah, losing an anchor is never fun but something that needs to be prepared for.
yes, would be a bit dicey diving in murky waters with crocs nearby... better safe than sorry. I wonder how the home brew turned out? Thinking of brewing beer on board as well using the brew-in-a-bag method with just one big pot and a keg.
Tank you vidéo magnifique super
That was just the greatest video. Thankyou guys.
Outstanding episode! You two could have a television show.
Wow, just WOW guys! What an amazing experience you have had, memories you have created! Impressive indeed!! Can’t thank you enough for sharing your adventure....many thanks and cheers :)
Great vid.
The brewers in Denver would be quite impressed with your brewing in the wild!
Can't wait to see how the beer turns out :) You are MAD getting in the water there!
Nice to hear from you again Hugh G. We take very very carefully calculated risks.
(the beer rocked)
awesome vid guys cant wait till next week, slay them Barra's cheers.
just started watching a week ago love you guys. best of all the sail vids on youtub
Loved the video. Thanks for sharing.
Our home brew setups are fairly similar, but your water source and wort chiller are a million times more epic than mine... cheers!!!
Made my day seeing someone else enjoying making allgrain home crafted beer, I also make all grain beer in my opinion it’s the real deal and special when you make your own, what a good job with limited gear, well done .
You both got it going on...love the videos...
Wow - seriously great stuff guys
So, So Good....Thanks.
shades of Malcolm Douglas, Benn Crop, Steve Irwin and Les Higgins with a sailing theme and prettier companion...Well done guys, I am following along with interest. A great way to see the Kimberley properly.
Fantástico, aprendendo a cozinhar para a sobrevivência. Lugares bonitos com suas histórias sobre as rochas. (Fantastic, learning how to cook for survival. Beautiful places with their stories about the rocks.)
Another great video guys... Great job...
Go Pascale!...Be an "Alchemist"!!....Bravo!!....Bon Voyage!!!!
"sailing the farm" as they say :-)
Bloody crocs in the water.?? I hardly be in the dory😳 Fair play to you geezer👍⛵️⚓️
Warren s/y Legend
Talk about excitement,i love how you fish for food make your bread, what happened to your beer will I find out in the next video? What awesome sights and adventure love it !
Thank you John- we appreciate you letting us know. We love making so many people happy.
you guys are awesome, loving the videos.
Great Content!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Sailing Doodles recommended you. Glad he did.
Love it 👍
This is an amazing sailing channel .. I have thoroughly enjoyed every video. Keep it up
You sure got through a few in short order. Thanks for your contribution as you watched and we both hope we continue to hold your attention.

Hi, you guys rock. Always learn a lot, I’m a professional sailor!. And hoping to go cruising soon (NE USA)
with my 30’. Would like to know more about your pushpit .
Keep on the excelente seamanship and cooking. Always looking forward to a new video. Fair winds and following seas
What would you like to know? Or is this a video request?:)
Free Range Sailing hi, I’m interest on the general arrangement. The seat, the solar panels arch. I think a video will be welcomed by everyone. Thanks for you fast response.
Ok but give us a bit. The videos are about 5 weeks behind the present day.
No worries. Looking forward to it. Safe passages
Cool video. It is a small world, I live in the US and my company does printing for Wyeast, the brand of yeast that you used to make the beer! Just started watching your vlogs - I hope you keep at it. Lots of fun.
Thanks Andrew and yes we are often reminded of how close the world is now by commenters having some link with what we do. Take care
FYI - I shared your video with the Wyeast people. They were really excited to see their product being used in the Outback. They shared it around at the company and thought it was really cool! Be safe out there.
Good stuff guys :)
Troy, maybe time to add a float and retrieve line to the anchor crown, When the chain gets wrapped, often lifting the anchor and retrieving in reverse order will un-jam it.
very, very good indeed
just found this sailing channel and their are one or too that have done it right ?? sailing james ect but you guys have something nice thanks keep it up xxxx
How was the beer??? On to Episode 10, hope to find out there.
What an exciting episode. Bad luck about the anchor and lucky that you were aboard when the bow started to go down. The music was too loud though and drowned Pascale out at times. The best channel on UA-cam!
Thanks S.F.R- that was early in our learning curve. We are teaching ourselves to do a better job and value your input for that reason.
Great video, guys!
I can't believe you use Wyeast yeast, which is made an hour east of where I live. There are several stores near me that sell it, but I didn't know it was available in Australia!
