As cold and rough as the region they come from! After what they have already delivered, only good things were to be expected! A rough Black Metal album with a touch of the old school, but still very independent! Exactly how it should be!
Album cover is nuts....It looks like a demon t-rex summoned from another dimension during a feeding, plummeting into a medieval game of sorcery and black magic
Cathartic Black Rituals is still their best in my opinion but its all about guitars - sounds so thin here... At least, they didn’t let go on that tight punk snare and the Amdusias on vocal is a great pick 👹
I am late at the show but that particular snare aesthetics is one thing I like from this band, it’s so punk! showing that things sometimes means not much, taken in a way
It would be a perfect album if it wasn't for the vocal style and the silly effects they add to them. The rest is actually great. The snare could sound better too. The riffs are a 10/10.
Theres honestly not that many effects, I make music with the vocalist a lot of the effect youre talking about is just coming from the layering of his vocal takes, he honestly sounds pretty much just like this in person its not far off
@@reapergrimlok1256 it's not the layering I'm talking about. It just sounds like he's singing through a walkie-talkie, or like a very old and low quality microphone. He also sounds very distant in the mix. I don't know it just sounds weird compared to the rest of the music. This vocal style would have been more suitable for an atmospheric back metal band.

Knew this album would kill. Made the effort of putting the album on my top ten aoty list before it's release. Nocturnal Departure is simply excellent.
you can tell its going to be good from the first 5 seconds, actually just from the album art even.
I could tell it was going to be good cause these guys are from Canada 🇨🇦
Must buy.. Chaotic and brilliant! 🔥🍺😎
I mean I expected nothing short of greatness but... this exceeded that expectation. Absolutely ridiculous. Well done on yet another perfect album
Vocals are absolutely nuts. Good stuff!
Wow! Not much of a black metal listener but holy shit this is good!! Love the vocals and the overall atmosphere of this album! Thanks for sharing!

🤘Brutal😱🤘
Pure garage metal, very promising with more polishing.
Agree. It's good to have some "scent" of garage sound in a record, but for me the days in which I love this crap sound on purpose are long gone.
@@cfd1052 Sure, gone for good.
Nah those are the best ones
Listen to their actual garage album worm moon offerings

Agreed that snare does not fit into the mix

Sounds like early 90's Black metal, amazing
👍
🤘🏿💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀🤘🏿 Mega hej hell bro BMP kapitalny Black Metal premiera zabójczo zajebista super
Not sure how they got a picture of me leaving the bathroom to get tp mid shit or why it's their cover art but dope nonetheless
Some bands still record their albums with a 1998 Nokia phone, eh? Just kidding it's dope.
This is beautiful
Did they hire the producer of St.Anger for the drumming parts? Other than that, good album.
🙄
